Yeah, the tour for Echoes was the same drum solo and riffs. Its still amazing though.

This, and the fact they are ALL great well-rounded MUSICIANS, is why I will NEVER miss a Foo Fighters concert in Seattle. They sound just as good live as they sound on their CDs.

Their '08 tour was absolutly amazing, seeing their acoustic portion and rock portion.

I always wonder how people record in concerts! I brought my recorder into a concert for disturbed and it was too loud for it, just sounded like the wind was blowing into it

people who record concerts are HARDCORE.

i mean, to get something even remotely listenable, you need a decent recorder and, even more importantly, a decent mic. a good seat behind the soundboard is always a plus, too.

what did you use to record?

I used a panasonic mp3 player recorder lol. Didnt go to good, and my samsung phone recorder... That was even worse, and i have my finger full over the mic and it was still fuzzy and shit lol
