And... in the process... ripped the heart and soul out of it by turning their backs on Walt's operating philosophy and forceably retiring those who were still around that subscribed to such a view, replacing them with inexperienced MBAs. But surely Eisner only did that because it wasn't good business sense? Oh, wait a minute. Pixar is still run like that... the most successful film studio in cinematic HISTORY.

Michael used to visit 2463 Grand Avenue basement in my neighborhood often. I said twice to him your Michael Eisner and he said yes and smiled and waved hello. He stayed all night I heard. I heard he had a Cuban girl down there. I heard she even had his child. This was around 1993-5. Now I know why Disney suffered he was taking care of other business.

Why is everyone saying Eisner fucked up Disney? He saved them from bankrupcy in the 1980s, and lead the success of the company in the 1990s. Personally, I hate him, but you can't ignore the truth.
