This was and is one of the most beautiful and memorable song sung by Hemant Kumar. I just listen to this melodious song, penned by Sahirji, and memorable music of Burmanda. As such this one is as fresh and pleasent as it was 60 years ago. I can't resist myself in listening to this song on & on, mor particularly during late night time.

Of course Lata's song is beautiful too, but I can give much more credit to Hemant Da's solo song.
