won't the beer that is in the air be all fizzy when you open it? i think you're a great teacher and i love your vids but i think if i did that at work the customer would be like wtf why are you shaking up my beer?? looks awesome tho
You may just need to get lucky. Be persistent though. Dont give up. Some of the best BT jobs Ive had I kept calling and calling till i got a shot. Pick a place you really want to work and bug the shit out of them.
i want to bartend, i went to ABC bartending schools and graduated, but no one wants to hire anybody with out "real experience' ... any recomendations?
make a resume, saying that u have experience, all bartenders lie about their experience to some extend, and club owners kinda already kno that bartenders lie wen they interview them, so just keep doing wat ur doing, u can also try freelance for a bit, bartend at a friends party just so u can build up some confidence
Well i live in Bulgaria, you may haven`t heard of it and you don`t have to be 18 to work as a bartender, i mean there is such law but almost nobody obeys it. i for example was 15 when started work as a bartender, now i`m 18,my first year as a legal bartender :D haha
Maybe you are right, but I live in Poland and I made a bartending course when i was 17 (legal age to drink and work as bartender is 18), but everything was legal beacuese of permission my parents gave me. I had got a document, which said: I agree to my son is going to drink alcohol and participate in bartending course. Sign: parents.
In the U.S., depends on the state. Ask around at your favorite bar, they can tell you. As for globally, that's a good question. I don't know. Ask your favorite bartender.
@MangoMyers in the UK it is legal for someone under 18 to work the bar but every sale has to be authorised by someone over the age of 18, so it is rarely done. although glass collectors are alloud to be of any age.
Good question. It can sometimes. If you practice and get a really smooth flip, it will be minimal. I usually wait about 5 seconds before opening it, and that solves the problem. Also, for some reason, some beers tend to foam more than others. I avoid doing this is MGD, but Bud, Corona, etc. all work fine. Cheers!
Bought one of those speed openers at my local liquor store here down under, and it cost me $20!

lol if you could only do it 90% of the time at home that means you'd have a 1 in 10 chance of failing, it should be more like 99.99

@krystle5391 in the netherlands you have to be 18, since that is the legal drinking age (as for the higher percentage of alcohol)
xFliiy 1 year ago
@krystle5391 yes even in europe you have to be of legal drinking age (it's 18 over here though)
