glad i'm a pacifistic atheist. i dont hate anyone because of their beliefs. i hate people who use their beliefs as excuses to harm others and i hate people who force their beliefs on others. the problem is that every horrible thing the US did the middle east was not, in any way, because of religion. People keep mixing up politics with religion, and that's where the problem here lies. thats just my opinon

And it also depends on your god. I worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Moses. We do not believe in the same god. My G-d isn't fickle and bloodthirsty like the god of Islam.

As for secular Jews, welcome to the majority of the world who are "enlightened" with thought and free will. This is the majority of the world. There are those who come back to G-d, and those who deny his existence altogether. With what some religions have done to the world, I see it as their right to refuse to want to be a part of any of it!

@BowieLovinJew You may be a kind person, BUT the purpose of life is to OBEY God NOT to simply be kind based upon your own opinions of what good is. God is the judge of what good is and all that matters is his opinion not yours. Being secular goes against the law of God and what the prophets sent down to. So you can't say you are a good Jew when you are secular. Hence that is why I find it strange when Jews perfer secularism over Islam when Islam is loser to Judaism then secularism will ever be.

So none of these scriptures are for Jews only, or Christians only or Muslims only...

@BowieLovinJew I am not going to discuss whether Islam or Judaism is correct, but all three Abrahamic faiths believe that scriptures were sent by God (Allah in Arabic, Elah in Hebrew) to guide mankind.

And actually you'll find that if you read the Qur'an it only reaffirms what is in the Torah and the Old Testament, even though that all 3 scriptures originate from different places. This is proof no doubt that there IS a god. The Qur'an even mentions that God preferred Jews over everyone else....
