  • Thanks ever so much for uploading this. I have been searching everywhere to play to my kids. I even went to old record shops asking but they never heard of it and looked at me as if I was mad. Thanks again. It brought back great memories and my kids love it.

  • i havent heard this since i was a youngster lmao i love it :)

  • ALTHOUGH THIS AND THEIR OTHER SINGLE "SUNDAY FOR TEA" WERN'T AS SUCCESSFUL AS THEIR OTHER SONGS. NEVERTHELESS THEY'RE JUST AS ENTERTAINING. WAS GOOD TO HEAR THEM AGAIN.

  • neat... just copied my 45 original to MP3... great song!!

  • A true tale.. even now.

  • Magic Lanterns done a good version of this

  • A shame they eventually split, but it had to be in order for Peter to help with Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor's careers. Miss Gordon.

  • ADELBERT STEINER

  • thanx for posting that, I havent heard that song since I was a kid,my parents were into the modern music, we had all these albums from the record club, Dave Clark 5, Venturesm Beatles, etc. I hadnt thought of Peter and Gordon for so long, then when I saw their name here, I remembered that they had some good songs, just had to reconect with that old good stuff, the 60s ruled. I think its was hands down, the best era to be in america. The peak of of our society, and culture, as far as quality of life

  • I loved this song back when I was a kid. Still do! Thanks for posting it.

  • When I was a ten year old kid I loved this song. Peter & Gordon had some good ones. Lady Godiva is a great song too. Peace.

  • Sadly, Gordon died in July 2009..aged 64.

  • wow, I'm a young guy and did not grow up with this stuff...but we sorely need something like this again in this day and age

  • I agree, even though I'm very open minded and like music lots of older folks don't appreciate, even some rap etc. Well Gordon is gone now, but we still have the music! Bless your heart for seeing this, that we need music like this again. We need a return to some form of innocence and simpler times, which is reflected in this music. You're a wise young person.

  • i agree, with you i missed seeing this era but its my favourite, i say bring back the honesty and innocence of these times

  • Great Song

  • @janschro I agree with the posts that appreciate the art for the video- great job! Can you tell me where the modern shots of the knight & lady , and the wedding crowd scene, came from? Just checked my inventory, and I still have the original 45 in the original picture sleeve that I bought at my first job- at Munky Wards! Great song from the Brit Inv- thanx for posting it!!
