@rammen4 why is this sick? first of all, it's fake. second of all you don't "see" it crash or any gore or anything, only the aftermath, and third of all, its the typical & classic movie seen done a 1000 times over in movies since the dawn of film... plane flies over- goes behind a hill-then there is an explosion. Hell I just saw this kind of seen in an old Magnum P.I. show the other night!!!

I was a crewchief in the USAF for 6 yrs and have building Airplane for the past 25 years. I have also flown sailplanes, hang gliders An F-4, a C-130, A KC-135, I''ve the C-17 for the past 15 years, and have been in the simullater and this looks more like a type final approach, with no problems. So when does the trouble start with the stall, after the C-17 disapears behind the trees? I was'nt sold on the idea there was a problem. I've also seen military airlanes crash none looked like this.

I love (and sorry if this sounds like an insult) how you took the idea from games where it doesn't show the plane actually crashing, but it shows a massive explosion and the plane going down. That makes it seem like it's really from the perspective of someone that is just on the island.

It looks cool but you should have made it go faster it seems like it purposely flew into the ground IMO it wasn't going fast enough for my eyes to physically believe it was a stall but nice piece of work you got there!

dude, the C-130 is a PROPELLER aircraft,

also, i can see some similarities between a c-130 and a c-17, but the general shape of the wings, and where the horizontal stabilizer is located, is way different.

He didn't do it by putting the pilots in, he used Track View on it and made the course for it.

I'm REALLY impressed that you figured in the delay for the sound of the explosion...since it was quite far away, one would not hear the actual blast until they had seen for it a moment. Furthermore...you muffled the boom so as to give it a distant feeling. Five stars for this work of art!!

Thanks. Like I said I wanted it to look as realistic as possible. I left smoke effects out as a disabled engine would not bring down a C17 in real life since it can fly even with 2 of its engines disabled...give or take it isn't carrying anything astronomically heavy.

Its supposed to be a scenario where there's a problem with the vertical stabilizers...that's why the pilots don't pull up near the end; no matter what they do, the C17 doesn't respond.
