I got this laptop a year or two ago. I've had SO many problems with it!

The cushion (the black dots) fell off on the bottom, as well as the ones on the screen for when you close it! The computer gets SUPER hot, so hot it broke down! So Best Buy fixed it & gave me a heat pad.

THE PAD BROKE, & after the crystals inside melted, they flowed out all over me & everything else, then dried up all crusty & white.

Whenever you close it, it has this bright blue/white that flashes when you close it!

Wow this sucks. The newer Sony CW series no longer carry GT330M now. Now it's a crappy Geforce 310M.

Unfortunately, all the CW series from Sony's website have Geforce 310M. It seems like Sony did discontinue the model with GT330M for some odd reason.

Because my screen overall looks very good, also for Blu-Ray films, but when the quality is lower (yes, illegally downloaded) then the quality of the colors is very unnatural and washed out and high speed scenes look very hazy, plus the black tones show darker and lighter black spots =s .I just hope this ISN't normal or I will get rid of this laptop. I don't think I checked to see how loud it get's but you can go to the control panel and go to sound and change the settings and check the loadness box and other things like that to make it louder

1st I would look for the Laptop that's best for me and check out all the specs, then I would look for who has the best price on it.

I got this one from J&R , because if I would have bought it from Tiger Direct or Best Buy Taxes would have added about $70 to the price because they have stores in my State. the best thing to do is find the model # of the laptop you want then search it on Amazon , and google to see who has the best prices.

Yea the laptop I'm going to get is the VPCCW26FX/W and they have it at BestBuy for $899 w/taxes $87.75 ($987.74 total), which is still good because it's under $1000.

One more thing. Do you have to have he wii connected to your laptop or can u just play the wii game inside the laptop disc drive?

it's a Wii EMU that you install on your PC then you can just put the Wii game in the DVD drive.

and yeah that's still a good deal on the VPCCW26FX/W even with the tax , I would have bought that one if it was for me but my niece wanted a Pink laptop.

yeah I was wondering why they removed that, but then again the laptop comes on so fast it don't really hurt much that it's gone, it's kinda like the Home Media button on my Dell laptop it's cool when you 1st get it but after a while you forget all about it and just log into windows everytime you start your laptop. chances are we will see it come back as the Chrome OS button on the next wave of laptops.

I only had a chance to play Mirror's Edge and some GameCube games on it so far, My niece came and took it away before I could try some more games on it but it played Mirror's Edge on the Highest settings. it's good enough for any games that My niece would want to play for the next year or so.
