Compared to Vista, anything from MikeOS to Altair DOS is pretty good choice. So, you comparing Leopard and Vista seems little bit of an overkill. Not that I would use a Mac though.

PC's, Mac's, get over it. We need to be comparing OSs to OSs, Microsoft has about 80% of the computer market ONLY due to the fact well.. it's forced on the OEMs! For gamers Windows is the way forward, but PC gaming is being dragged down by the consoles anyway, so apart from the easier control system (keyboard + mouse) I see no reason whatsoever to pay PC games over console game anymore - it's a dying market sadly. Windows is better for business, without a doubt, but the average user doesn't need a Windows machine/Boot Camp on a Mac...

That's not true, my package manager on Gentoo Linux finds 1026 games.
Anyway, there is a thing called WINE, which can be installed WITHOUT any effort, which is basically a rebuild of the Winapi so that programs can use it. yeah, not every game runs with wine, some crash, but the majority like GTA SA runs even better than on Windows.
And '10 games' well, search for games in Android market, and those games use OpenGL and run on Linux, both opensource & neither from Micr nor Apple
so the thousands of freeware programs one can find on the PC don't count? and they aren't just tiny little apps for some dashboard, so i don't compare those 2.

I have an associates degree in electronics and am a Mac fan because in electrical engineering, it is better to understand the hardware before writing software. The issues brought up at 5:04 in the video about Vista problems with buggy third party software and drivers not working most likely has to do with too many companies making the same machine & not working with their software development community like Apple does. Wozniak invented the Apple 1 from the hardware up, like Apple does today!

That's not true, my package manager on Gentoo Linux finds 1026 games.
Anyway, there is a thing called WINE, which can be installed WITHOUT any effort, which is basically a rebuild of the Winapi so that programs can use it. yeah, not every game runs with wine, some crash, but the majority like GTA SA runs even better than on Windows.
And '10 games' well, search for games in Android market, and those games use OpenGL and run on Linux, both opensource & neither from Micr nor Apple

Dude, BSODs only occur in WINDOWS because it is what Windows shows when a driver crashes, where OS X's equivalent is the dimmed screen with a manual restart message.

I agree, Mac OS is the best system out there. But until the day they are platform agnostic I and countless million other users won't be able to use it. It's too god damn expensive to buy a mac...
I know for a fact that almost all of the components in my Toshiba are identical to the macbooks sold at the time, the only difference is the graphics accelerator. Still I bought it for a third of the price.

Reason why? It takes alot of procedure to program things for macs . I can count all the possible games you can play on a Mac on one hand. Also, hardware. A PC can be built for about $600 dollars and a mac for $2000, with the exact same specs. Overpriced much? yes.

I have an associates degree in electronics and am a Mac fan because in electrical engineering, it is better to understand the hardware before writing software. The issues brought up at 5:04 in the video about Vista problems with buggy third party software and drivers not working most likely has to do with too many companies making the same machine & not working with their software development community like Apple does. Wozniak invented the Apple 1 from the hardware up, like Apple does today!

@h4x0y If you never used linux before, try Ubuntu, If you want to have the power of an advanced linux user, to change stuff, and and have everithing simple to change, use Debian (Download the netinst iso.)
WARNING: Debian is a great distro with a lot of things you can do, but i DO NOT recommand Debian if you never used Linux. Becaus it's just bit harder to work with as a newbie. And also, if you need support, iam sure you will find all ansers to your questions at 'linuxforums . org' (No qotes)

But ubuntu is not an option since it's way too popular and therefore too much an allrounder. I'll check out debian (before going on to cooler stuff like arch linux and such - heard a lot of great words about it). but thanks for the advice i'll have a look at debian!

I can't stand these propaganda films. vista and 7 are both better than osx. I notice that they're comparing early (and fixed) issues in vista (when they actually exist), with what apple wants you to believe they can. Also I notice some of these features really are available for pcs, and/or are stolen from linux desktops. Last of all: Saying buying a mac is cheaper than getting a pc/operating system = lol*52.
