  • @piledriver87 infact the creator of the vaults threw the first punch to forfill his prophecy damm fuckhead screwed everyone over he was crazy. And the president knew only a few short minutes before world war 3 began man would I feel stupid. Fathoming the fact that you let your country down.

  • Make Fallout a film

  • I should get this game! Im already bored of Fallout 3 & FNV.

  • Thumps up if you played this at the end of Broken Steel and Motership Zeta

  • Anyone else listen to "I'm on a boat" while watching this?

  • well there goes the first of many large treasure trove's of technology (Raven Rock and the Mobile Base Crawler being next) I never understood why the games insisted on the destruction of these places. You kill everyone in them first anyway; so why not capture them for the NCR and Brotherhood?

  • @KILLBILL1091 The reason why THIS "oil" rig was destroyed is because it had the FEV virus set in motion, which, if touched the sea, would end up killing everybody in the west coast if not the entire world (Or what was left of it). As for the other places... Well... Dont question the Bethesda dumbos on how to make a logical plot.

  • @KILLBILL1091 Actually, both the Oil Rig and Raven Rock were destroyed due to the self destruct being triggered, by Frank Horrigan here and by Eden at Raven Rock. The Mobile Base Crawler was kinda unecessary though.

  • @Piledriver86 I know thats what Horrigan says but If I remember correctly, you disable the rigs coolant tanks for the reactor or something right? I think you blow it up. And in fallout 3 I can tell Eden to "Shut down, shut down this whole place" geez does shutdown=Blow up to these people. I guess I just wanted the good guys to catch a break

  • @KILLBILL1091 On what conceivable level is The Enclave the good guys? Or does genocide, insane amount of xenophobia, and having caused the apocalypse in the first place not count as long as you got technology to satisfy the nihilistic nerds in the audience?

  • @Piledriver86 The Enclave didn't start or end the Great War.

  • @ozerataoglu They didnt fire the first shot, no, but theyre just as responsible as China for creating the situation the pre-war world was in. . But no, they decided to instead just save a small elite of people, and let the rest of the world suffer a horrible fate. Well, now theyve joined their victims in the ash.

  • @Piledriver86 Not all of them, no. The western Enclave is pretty much gone, with just a few remnants left, but the eastern probably survived the Raven Rock and Adams Air Force Base incidents.

  • the enclave is in fallout new vegas and if u do their mission u get cool power armour

  • I just love this ending, the Enclave took EVERYTHING from the people, they destroyed the planet, and planned to kill the survivors as well, just so they could keep their power. They truly deserved their fate.

  • @Piledriver86 Obviously, the pre-war Enclave couldn't wait to get rid of all their property, money, power, connections and most of their family and so planned the war so that they could have a bunk bed on the Oil Rig and live dull, vapid lives where almost nobody saw the sun for 150 years and their main entertainment was watching a 'saftey film'. The Enclave didn't start the war and were so determinted to see America rebuilt afterwards that they became brainwashed slaves really. Such power.

  • @AdamJamesWalker86 Yeah, because among other things, annexing Canada, brutally murdering civilians both abroad and at home, imprisoning thousands of people in Vaults for experiments for data results that ranged from monstrous to completely ridiculous, for a plan that didnt work out anyway, then, when the dust had settled, and when the people they had abandoned to their fates were trying to rebuild, they tried to take that way too. China is to blame too, but the games arent about them.

  • @Piledriver86 Fair enough, I never said that the Enclave were saints or anything. Just saying that they aren't the root of all of the US's evils in Fallout. I'm sure just as many non-Enclave affiliated government figures wanted Canada annexed as well, it was causing complications for the war effort afterall. Those people we see in the Fallout opening might have bombed US Citizens for all we know. I think that the Enclave winning would in, 200 years or so, make the world better; at a cruel cost.

  • @AdamJamesWalker86 Not according to the official Fallout documents, according to those, the Enclave was the major driving power behind nearly everything that happened. Also, those people being executed in the Fallout opening are guilty of the crime of trying to oppose the US annexation. Should they just have let the US steamroll over them?. The Enclave pretty much represents every goverment that thinks it is better than its citizens. That its more worthy of survival.

  • @Piledriver86 Perhaps you could clarify what you are refering too, if you mean the Bible then I don't think that Bethesda (them now being in charge of Fallout) considers it canon anymore. As for the people being shot, you don't know what they are being shot for; as I said, maybe they are opposing the American Annexation by bombing US Cities or something. It's not like America was Nazi Germany, they gave Canada some of the Oil reserves in compensation. That is niether here nor there however.

  • BEST. ASPLOSION. EVAR!

  • R.I.P Enclave and R.I.P black isle ;(

  • @DeusLeneIV Dont worry the enclave arent all gone (hint hint fallout new vegas)

  • @solarflaredragon45 hint hint they arent officially Enclave due to them being retired and are fighitng for their own reasons.

  • R.I.P Enclave =;(

  • Enclave leader: now priavte matt damon do not press this button it will allow the chosen one access....

    Matt damon: matt damon

    Enclave leader: sigh were doomed

  • enclave: and we would have gotten away with it if it wasent for that meddling chosen one and Dogmeat

  • Fans who love Fallout 1 and 2 but hate Fallout 3 should really take it easy. I mean, I love both the original 2 games (not Tactics and BoS) and I love Fallout 3. They're all quality games and none of them deserve to be destroyed. So, what do you say guys, lets kill some people in New Vegas? :D

  • im getting so fucking sick of people slagging of fallout 3 if you dont like it thenfine

but dont (metaphorically) burn the fucking game in the faces of its fans

  • where can i see the complete story of fallout?

  • Black Isle Is Dead. Fallout 1 & 2 were the best pc games ever

  • ubershavefallout is right.i was introduced to fallout 3, and liked it, but became obsessed when i played 1 and 2

  • "Look at his big round eyes"

  • Fallout 1 and 2 has much cooler graphics and music than fallout 3

  • @ubershavefallout Except, you know, all those broken quests and endings in the first two.

  • @iammishahearmeroar There are patches that fix all these

  • The people who are getting so god damned worked up about the original games, and the 3rd need to chill. There's no point in trying to link the games. All are very good, and you don't judge a book by its cover. We're all Fallout fans, so lets enjoy the series together. (Btw i bet that speech means nothing to you guys.)

  • I can't believe ppl are arguing with me whether fo3 is a sequel. It's a sequel of the fallout universe not of the characters within. So what if its changed genre of game? I don't care, they will be doing the same to Xcom soon and will I be bothered....No! Come on ppl, life is to short to argue about this stuff.

  • i love the enclave sergeant lol

  • fo3 was made by the same people but it was diffbut ther all relley good and fun. I love fallout 3 but It should have been called the captel wastland fallout or some thing like that but all the games ar done with good work.

  • ...This scene elicits pity. So lone a platform, so vast the ocean, and still, it all ends in such a misery. Just imagine that. An entire govermnent based on an oil rig. It is a very dangerous place anyway. You can be bombed, be cut off from resources, etc. And here, on top of that all, you're being acttually sabotaged. :(

  • Fallout 3 is not the same as Fallout and Fallout 2. It is annoying to go on any Fallout or Fallout 2 video and see a bunch of people who had never heard of it before the 3rd game, mocking it. Fallout 3 should have been called Fallout Capital Wasteland or something, it is not a true sequel to fallout 2

  • True dude. In FO3, player is not descendant of the original Vault Dweller from FO1. And it takes place in East Coast instead of West as in FO1 and FO2. But FO3 still is a good playable game (if we skip the main quest) even there's no real turn-based RPG-like S.P.E.C.I.A.L-system in the game on it's on real way or other attributes aswell.

  • @lNVlCTUS Of course it's a sequel in terms of the world it is happening in. Personally I think they did well to start it elsewhere and with different characters not related to the FO1 or 2. What they have done with FO3 is redesign a classic game and stretched its potential, to keep it with just the west coast would cause limitations.

  • @cmdfarsight - Thats like saying Tactics is a sequel because of the world its set in...and its not really. They redesigned it with F03 but stretching potential? An excellent isometric game could have been made. I like FO3 but it should have a different name

  • @lNVlCTUS Isometrics have had their day in the modern world to be honest but if everything worked on the basis you describe then some films couldn't be considered sequels...i.e predator 2 different predator, different human, different country......actually bad example, Predator 2 was pretty crap lol

  • @cmdfarsight - Fallout 3 had very little in common with 1 and 2. Predator had the most important thing in common, a predator lol. Fallout 3 is good as a stand alone game but should have branched off into its own series.

  • @lNVlCTUS it has the post apocalyptic world in which it is set, it has a person from a vault, it has super mutants, enclave, ghouls and BoS just like P2 had another Pred'. I'm not saying nor have said the previous 2 were rubbish and think its ludicrous for people to condemn a game because of its genre but genuinely believe it can be called a sequel because of its setting.

  • @cmdfarsight - Its not just down to the use of elements from the previous games. Its in first person, its more of a shooter rpg crossover with a complete lack of story and real choices. Most Fallout 3 players would struggle to play the first two due to how difficult they were.

  • @lNVlCTUS I think FO3 had equal storyline to the previous 2 in the series and due to the setting etc can be considered a sequel. It's unfair really to say it's not part of the series because of its genre. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

  • @cmdfarsight - Maybe think its equal because they stole about 10 different stories from the old games and mixed them together :P. The main quest was weak, very weak.

  • @cmdfarsight Bull dude. FO3 will never touch Fallout 1 or 2 in storyline. You need to read a book once a while to know what an ACTUAL STORYLINE IS, k?

  • This makes me want to buy this game.

    AND I SHALL.

  • My favorite part of this outro is the background music, lol.

  • freak nice

  • could all survive from nuclear explosions Dragon777

  • Actually, it's an oil rig with an atomic bomb on it

  • you're an idiot

go back to your fucktarded fallout 3

  • @cr4yv3n fallout 3 is fucking awesome you dumb bastard

  • pff..yeah..if you are 3 <.<

  • O.o wow.... witty comeback

  • @apple26a it's NOT fallout, stop calling it it that way!

  • @apple26a come on dude, watch the language. Fallout 1 & 2, despite sharing the game world were in a different genre of gaming to FO3 - obviously you don't like that genre, which is fair enough. Bethesda are going to placate all the originals fans with New Vegas anyway.

  • a BOAT

  • you know i like the fallouts for the comp (1,2) the only thing i dont like is the fact you have to take turns and only have like 5 action points

  • well, that's your fault for making a character with such crappy low Agility that he/she only got 5 AP

  • that was an nuclear boom over 0:17 to 1:05

  • i see scream 0:53

  • This is a bit late but I seem to remember annexing as basically being the "taking over" of a country, including its lands, economies and people. It's basically like colonisation, with a few small differences and a lot more public outcry. : )

  • The best cRPG ever made...

  • It's a nice way of invading, kinda like saying we're taking over the country for your own good.

  • It means the US took over Canada so they could get to the Anchorage, Alaska reclamation in the year 2077. Check out the Fallout Wikia for more info.

  • meaning in the fallout storyline, the United States annexed Canada, meaning Canada requested that they become part of the United States and we said okay.

  • to add on, so basically make the u.s bigger

  • How is that significant? Who is on that boat?

  • You are on the boat as you blow up the oil rig.

  • guyz if u like f2 u should try fonline - fallout online.

  • It's not ready yet is it?

  • in open beta testing stage, googlee it for more information

  • I have been noticing that a lot of people that seem to like fallout 1 & 2, dont really like fallout 3.

  • They're just butthurt, even though Fallout 3 has done outstandingly well, they just like to bitch and moan, sad really, hate that type of fan, that can never accept good change.

  • Fallout 3 is NOT a good change <.<

it has no liberty of fallut , it has no storyline and WTF they kill the main character?

enemies sound and look unconvincing, super mutants are a JOKE, raiders are a JOKE, and overall the "Great Outdoors" is actually more of "subway rat environement" <.<

and i could go on for HOURS with reasons why fallout 3 < ALL other fallouts.

  • tottally agree

  • @lieutenanterrrrrrrr Fallout 3: Run around a barren wasteland and run into a couple of enemies every now and then, following a shitty main quest and so-so side quests. There is no remarkable scenery to experience the "osewawsum gwafix" unless you consider a vast area of nothingness, with a few rock formations, a couple trees, two-three enemies and maybe a building or two off in the distance "remarkable". It's not; it's boring. You play it once and you've seen it all. Whoop-di-fucking-do.

  • We'll, 3 was made for kids. Which is odd, to cut back on a 18+ game? Makes no sense. Lets have kids but not be able to kill them. No, you can't hit someone in the balls, but you can blow their brains out? It was like my grandma approved this version. And the gameplay is fairly boring, unless your a brainless tard who gets endless joy out of bodyparts. 3 had a huge lack in humour. The game is ok, dont get me wrong, and yes I know, people have spent time on it. But doesn't mean that its GOOD.

  • I've had a lot of fun with the game (3), but I did have more fun with 1 & 2. They should really have made someone else do it. All the stuff lost from 1 & 2, the tribals, no spears?!, no interesting weapons, nothing special. I just couldnt get the kicks from it. And the singleplayer stuff gets boring, with 2 guys, this game would be magnificent, absolutely excellent. but it gets lonely in the wastelands pretty fast. As in 1 & 2 the stories and humor kept me going.

  • Funny I played the series backwards and my opinion of the weapons are tottally the opposite.

  • How is that possible? As all the weapons in 3 are in the earlier versions, but the earlier versions have more weapons.

  • I played them 3,2,1 so i dig the futuristic over the spears and tribals and whatnot

  • Ah, k. I dig everything. The more options you have the more people will like. In 3, I found it too easy to come by the best weapons, and to train skills. At lvl 6-7 it got a bit boring for me. Not on the first go though, as there were things to explore, but I stopped playing as I did the story first and thought I would finish other quests afterwards. Big mistake. In 2 atleast, there was technology, and there was tribals. That I like. More variation and challenge. Enemies are very easy on 3.

  • Ah well you have to see these days the average gaming moron drools over awesome graphics ( althouh FPS are shit without them anyways), and guess what that kicks alot more gameplay for a single disc of Fallout goodiness. Look at Diablo III it still has similar terrible graphics to the orginals and World of Warcraft shittest graphics on earth (Not really) but its a Sand-box (Free Roaming Game). Maybe in 2077 the technology will have delveloped that far unless where to busy fighting giant mole rats

  • ....

Are you high? There are plenty of good FPS's that don't need graphics. Look at Half Life. Look at Doom. Look at Far Cry 2.

Sure, Fallout 3 had great graphics, but they weren't only there as a gimmick. The coolest moment I had in Fallout 3, was right in the beginning, looking at D.C, and sighing at how awesome it all looked. And WoW is way overrated, and in NO way is it a sandbox. A sandbox game has fun stuff to do BESIDES missions. Unlike WoW. Graphics don't make a game, but

  • I mean, those games had graphics, but they could be great games WITHOUT them.

  • far cry 2 has good graphics

  • I know that. I'm saying it could live without graphics.

  • Yeah WoW blows. Theres nothing entertaining about it and now my friends addicted to it and he never goes outside. Fuck WoW.

  • @iammishahearmeroar

Tell it like it is man..tell it like it is ..

    =]

  • @iammishahearmeroar Far Cry 2 had good graphics but the game was terrible. There was no plot and everything was repetitive. The spent all their time building the world and forgot to put anything of interest in it.

  • @iammishahearmeroar

"Sure, Fallout 3 had great graphics" you are kidding, right? ::olol

  • @toudi2 Hell of a lot better than anything I ever saw in Halo or Call of Duty.

  • @iammishahearmeroar No offence, but half life isn't a good FPS with bad graphics. I'm not one of those "CoD's the only FPS evar" retards, but seriously, Half life is incredibly dull, the shooting is boring and the weapons are un-inspired. It's very life-like, yes, but that's not a good thing. it just trudges along without anything majorly exciting happening, so when something slightly good DOES happen, it seems amazing because the rest of the game is so slow.

  • @Vault101Reject Prepare for unforeseen consequences.

  • @iammishahearmeroar Actually, Doom doesn't hold up that well anymore. The lame "find a key, kill some people, find another key, kill some more people" gameplay is not very fun anymore.

  • @GasSnake2003 doom is odd school shooter that rocked, for its time they attempted a story line, yeah hell opened up and killed everyone including your pet bunny, so you end up going to hell to save your pet rabbit . When you get down to it not a lot of shooters today have that much story... as more and more shooters psuh to stay under 6 hours of game play, i quit buying them at 59-69 dollars for only 6 hrs of play and if you remove some of the wild or overused storylines all you get is go kill

  • Continued from last comment: .Lol. (2077 bit of an overexageration more like Fallout 7 and ps4) maybe by then those game scientests will have developed all 3 of the gaming wonders, Gameplay, Graphics, and Exploration.

But untill then you either have to put up with what you get, get rich and buy a video game company or bitch on youtube untill its released.

P.S. put yourself in there shoes Bethesda didnt continue the "Classic Franchise" instead the used there heads and earned big bucks.

  • YEah. I find that graphichs are a big plus on a game, but the best games I've played weren't that much graphic as they were playable and otherwise great. Like fallout 2. Just started playing it again, as I dont think I ever finished it, I just got to the end place and then my pc went down.. But I'll give it a few days and then see which one I actually think is better.

  • Actually, most of the weapons in the earlier versions were realistically named, and they had a LOT more weapons in the first two. If you want to add more Fallout 1/2 weapons to Fallout 3, and have the PC version, search for a mod called "FOOK 2", it adds around 200 new items.

  • @iammishahearmeroar yeh i downloaded that but the textures kinda suck on most of guns

  • True, but the sheer amount of new gameplay it adds makes up.

  • Everyone has there own opinion so STFU and stop criticising other peoples because they like different games. Moron.

  • Oh, sorry, I didn't know this was PlayItRough09 opinion night, no other opinions allowed. You on the other hand, sir, can eat shit and die. Childish enough for you?

  • Lol grow up.

  • Just trying to find myself on the same basis to communicate.

  • And btw, sorry in advance if you werent tlaking to me, I just woke up so I'm pissed off as it is.

  • I like both.

  • I meant PC Game

  • It's Very Cool Post Apocalyptic PG Game, though it never reveals what happens to that dissilusioned Enclave Squad that escapes with you onto the ship after the player kills frank harrigan.

  • yep every fallout ends in a boom

  • 3 dosn't. well, a few of the endings do, but not all....

  • actually... in the broken steel extension... there was a small explosion

  • Ah but Fallout 3 is a post apocalyptic game with a big name slapped on it. Its not really fallout 3. New Vegas is.

  • same thing its got vaults rad mutants raiders mom dad storyline brotherhood of steel enclave ghouls point lookout aliens mothership zeta sucks toilets you can drink out of

  • except for the third one.

  • So what your ay is, if you don't start something that's about to blow up it blows up? Amazing

  • idk why this is thumbs downed...cuz its true

  • describe the fallout series in one word ... EPIC

  • Except FO 3.

  • Poseidon oil rig blew up, made to extract the last amounts of oil in the world. Enclave made it there HQ

  • The Enclave:WTF?

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

  • ...what blew up sorry didnt play the game....

  • The Enclave's oil rig.

    LONG story...

  • lets say a certain group's post is long gone and i think a former enclave prez was also in said post

  • BOOOOOM!!!

And shut up, people! This isn't F3 so talk about it elsewhere!

  • Xbox 360<3

And Brother Of Steel DLC actually gives Fallout..no ending.

It leaves the game wide open for continuous gameplay.

At least check their website and you'd know all about it -.-

  • It's actually broken steel :P

  • yumme muchroom xD

  • while were on the subject of fallout 3's ending when i died the only thing i could say was

    "fuuuck"...

  • Hey me too lol

  • If you download broken steel i think saah lyon or some brotherhood save you from the project purity control room

  • The ending changes, maybe you don't die at all, or maybe sarah does save you. I got sad when I died.

  • maybe just maybe for broken still, a squirrel will come out of nowhere with a ninja and by an accident depending if you helped the fight or not will type in the right codes to the project purity control room

  • lol. you should check out the forums on that. they got lots of possibilities.

  • think about it how did cornol autum survive the radiation and raven rock is destroed so the bos

  • hey i never realised that what the fuck thats messed up bro

  • He gave himslf a secret enclave medicine in the project purity control room and if you look out of a window you can see him esaping in a vertiberd going mup min a lift to the surface

  • Colonel Autumn injected himself with a mysterious compound when James(the dad) released the radiation. He survived that way.

  • That doesn't make sense. If he saved himself, he could've saved James too to interrogate him.

  • No, that would be pointless. If you watched the scene taking place, the radiation floods the room at a massive rate. If Colonel Autumn tried to save himself and James, either one of them would die.

  • Well, who cares anyways? You can watch your Dad die with the radiation, and or kill or let Colonel Autumn go. :)

  • i got it for ps3... they didnt make any of the dlc's for ps3

    yep.

  • Forget about F3 DLCs. It's just like Rollercoaster tickets. Yeah- disposable fun.

  • but its free to ride it again and again

  • in fallout 3 you also die (thats depeand the descion you take)

  • untill you download Broken Steel that is.

  • broken steel i dont know much about the DLC of F3 beacause i have a ps3

  • that must suck because Bethesda's is pretty much M$ bound cause of all the money they got. its dirty tactics and plain bullshit.

  • You die in all of them

  • unless you make sarah lyons die for you. or the yet-unknown Broken Steel ending. Which occording to beth is the REAL ending.

  • I have never seen or played a fallout game except for Fallout 3. The third one was thee shizz. But i never saw or heard of any other Fallout games.

  • Dude, this is from 1998! ( To put it into perspective: ten years before Fallout 3!)

  • yeah, i know, ive played this game

    i was just saying

  • yes it isn't but you gota realise, this was ether for the playstation, dreamcast, n64, or pc in 1998!
