  • Your a young Boris Johnson in the making.

  • Hey Could you do some videos about upgrading your gaming pc

  • @brandon1633 I sure will :) There's a few gaming PC things to come, and more PC things in general. Got a few plans :)

  • ATTENTION BUYERS.DONT BUY MAC UNLESS YOU WANT TO USE LOGIC PRO.OTHERWISE IT'S TOTALLY USELESS.BUY A PC ;D.

  • @Sketch1994 Don't forget about Final Cut!! :D:D

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour I forget it because my closest contact with video editting is Movie Maker(at least it's FREE).Used it 2 or 3 times and never edited again.Sorry.Peace

  • Really like the way they show you the Ram slots on there, never seen that before;P! Parcans really made the difference;P! Nice to know that they don't just come in handy for shows;P!

  • @CarbonRockBand Deffo agreed!!! ;)

  • Hey man, i just watched your 9 part gaming build. Like your down to earth approach and humour. I'm planning to do a build in the next couple of months using the new 2011 type mobo. my only problem is choosing between Gigabyte and Asus, am really a Gigabyte man but Asus as been getting some good reviews with the Intel Sandy-bridge tech. Thanks!

  • Mac Pro= Massive Virtual Penis.

  • when a new video??

  • Is that a eyetoy camera on your screen? :D

  • Better lighting in this video, good job mate.

  • hey dude, is this a good gaming pc??

Intel core i7 2600 @ 3.4 ghz, 8 gb ram, seagate barricuda 500 gb hard drive, nVidia gtx 560ti

    is that a decent pc?

  • @TheMiniGreenMen Very decent PC :)

  • @TheMiniGreenMen Go for a 6950 :-)

  • @TheMiniGreenMen yeah thats gd wa mb u got?

  • Are you going to do some benchmarking e.g. geek bench too see the improvement thanks from @steve0121

  • OMG

  • Good point whatever did happen to your gaming pc ? Have you let it sit in the corner letting it get covered in dust while the Mac pro receives all the glory?

  • @darkly24 The reason I upgrade the Mac Pro more than the PC is because the Mac runs everything for me, all night and all day. The gaming PC is simply a gaming machine. Of course gaming is a big part of life, but it's still simply entertainment. I rely on my Mac Pro for many aspects of work that I do, and getting performance out of this system is more crucial at this moment in time. Plus, the gaming PC doesn't need any upgrades. It still runs super smooth...

  • hey dude, wat happened to ur gaming pc that u built??? i missed some videos since u finished building the gaming pc, but do u still have it?

  • @TheMiniGreenMen Of course man, I still have it :) Only reason why I haven't made any videos on it is because I've upgraded nothing, and everything running smoothly so there isn't really anything to say. Said it all in the build series :)

  • Ever seen dominator GTX 2400mhz? I'd say those DIMMS are the most impressive

  • could you link us to were you got these from, iv googled "global memory" and nothing seems to pop up

  • Great Vid! apple dosent recommend you use ram from different manufactures, yet if you do would it actually make a difference as i have 4 gb and am hoping to add another 4gb, cheers

  • Hey, nice video as always mate, I have the same Mac Pro, mine came with 6gb of ddr2 ram, I want to upgrade to 8-12gb of ram, can I still upgrade and keep the 6gb in my mac pro, what do you recommend in ram configuration? Thanks, MacMike1000

  • @MacMike1000 Hey man! :) do you have 6 x 1GB sticks? If so, I recommend buying a 2 x 2GB kit, or a 2 x 4GB kit if you can afford it... :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour I have 2 x 2GB stick in slot 1 & 2x 1GB stick in slot 2 total of 6GB of RAM.

  • @MacMike1000 If you buy another 2 x 2GB kit, then you will have 10GB's with a nice configuration :)

  • Dude, I just discovered your channel by researching new gaming PC builds. I just want to say thank you, because you're actually down to earth, and I finally have something to look forward to on the youtubes. So... thanks!

  • Dude.. I Was Inspired By You.. You're an albino.. but never give up.. Nice VID BRO..!!

  • Hey I'm looking into a 2.8GHZ 8-core 2008 Mac Pro, would you recommend it?

  • @MrJake0604 Definitely, got mine last year and I love it ever since, check out my channel. MacMike1000

  • :-)

  • hi tom ive been offerd advertising by google do you have to pay tax on what you get thats whats holding me back from doing it or shuld i just go ahead

  • keep the great videos coming =D

  • Is that a playstation 2 camera on top of your dell display?

  • So why did you have to move your current ram to other slots dude? Thinking of getting a second hand pro for uni next year.

  • @231karl Hey man! :) Putting the larger sticks in slots 1 & 2 is recommended for optimal performance. It's not a necessity, but it's preferred. :)

  • I just ordered this exact Mac Pro on Ebay for $1518 including postage! I am upgrading from my 2006 Mac Pro.

  • Great video! I've never seen the inside of a Mac Pro; well, now I have! And you are very welcome for the views! Mayhaps you could return the favour....?

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour I was just wondering if i should get a later PowerMac G5 for video editing or just stick with my MacBook?

  • @stupidrandom101 It depends what formats you want to edit. A Quad G5 would be MUCH quicker than your MacBook at editing, but AVCHD isn't supported on PPC machines. This limits you to the amount of modern camcorders that are compatible with the G5.

  • Great upgrade video as always!

Is that an eyetoy on top your monitor?

  • Cool! I have two 2GB sticks of RAM that are on their way to me now! My Mac Pro will also have 8GB RAM! The RAM should be here tomorrow! Also, I have the same 1900XT graphics card in my Mac Pro (I have the 2006-2007 model Mac Pro). I upgraded the processors in my Mac Pro recently too (went from 4 cores to 8 cores!), and my upgrade video should be up on my channel tonight (I'll send you a link if you want to see it).

  • Great video Tom! I have recently upgraded my laptop RAM to 8GB to make the performance that little bit better. Hope you have a good year!

  • Nice! my powermac g5's still rocking a massive 1GB of RAM LOL

  • Just curious, what speakers are those?

  • @KillerDragon534 Hey! :) I can't remember the exact model number, but they're a pretty basic 5.1 system by Creative. They have no digital input so it's strictly 3 stereo jacks. Because of this I just use them as a 2.1 system. I can't seem to find them so I think they're discontinued.

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Thanks for the answer. One more question though. Would you recommend the Belkin dvi kvm switch that you have. I saw your review on it and am interested in buying one. If you have had any problems with it please tell me. Thanks in advance!

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Hey man! What model is your Mac Pro? It seems like a pretty good model... Would you recommend it? And one more thing, have my other messages gotten to you or didn't you get them?

  • @crazycommentsgirl Hey! :) It's the Mac Pro 3,1 (2008) it's the standard 2 x Quad Core version. I would only recommend it if you need it. It's a waste of money if you can't utilise the power. If you run a lot of demanding tasks then Mac Pro's are a very nice machine to have.. :) - Best way to get to me is through Email: itsmynaturalcolour@gmail.com

  • proud to say i have the same machine as you ^-^

what graphics card do you have? i got a faulty ati radeon 2600 xt (stock card for the early 2008 mac pro) and it was recalled but apple has stopped replacing them as of july 2011. What graphics card do you suggest i get, if i were to install windows 7 to play skyrim or something of the sort?

  • @TheFunny33 Hey man! I have the X1900xt from the 06 / 07 Mac Pro's. I really don't recommend it.

Anyway, I'd recommend getting a 6870 from eBay. They're less than a 5770 from Apple and you get much better performance ! :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply, and i plan on ordering or picking one up asap. Thanks again!

  • It's fantastic to see you're getting paid for this, you really deserve it.

    Great vids as always :)

  • Wallpaper courtesy of MKBHD?

  • @samueljakeoneill I can't quite remember where I got it... Love it though :)

  • sweet now you can upgrade to a 6xxx video card, oh wait >:O

  • @FellowBassHead Deffo! :) My plan is a decent version of the 6870. There should be an upgrade video about half way through this year...

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour yeah but are they even supported cause there still selling them with the 5xxx cards and the 7xxx are already out apple is 2 years behind, what is this i dont even.

  • @FellowBassHead Any PC 6870 will work in a MacPro out of the box. I'm not sure on other models, but of course, all PC video cards work in Mac's after they've been flashed :) The only reason Apple are still selling the 5xxx cards with the MacPro is because the entire machine hasn't been updated in a very long time. This is because the next update is going to be extremely substantial.

  • bit of a pink video

  • 2 Intel Xeon Quad-Core CPU's?? Wow! If it had decent DDR3 (1600MHz or so) RAM, it would be AMAZING! Damn!

  • @bluekillz1994 Great for 2008 :)

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Yes indeed! Makes my quad-core i5 look slow :)

  • where have you been??? u were missed

  • Happy new Year Tom!

I also have 8gb of Ram in my PC!

I am running out of Ram very quickly.....Anyway my CPU can handle all my Work and thats most important.

  • 8GB sounds solid ! mentioning the door thing made me :D

  • What Webcam is that on top of your dell monitor?

  • @TheYoungGeek247 Looks like a Playstation Eye Toy.

  • Comment removed
