These guy are nuts. Taking immunosuppressants is better for you than getting off your ass, eating right and exercising?I If you looked at their diabetes management closely you would find that all those horror stories with passing out are their own fault. What's a point of going through the surgery, getting on those bad pills and just reducing your insulin intake? This is not a cure, don't get too excited. It is just another form of management (a crappy one)

Birdmann30,Worseto....keep the faith.Major developments are taking place primarily at the UofAlberta in conjunction with Schulze D.I. and McGill. Much too much to talk about here but if you have interest I can explain some great research that is going human clinic very soon.May(should),solve the major problems of the Edmonton protocol which is still the gold standard of islet cell transplant.Check out Sernova.You will reckognize the names.

Thank you for this vid there are still many skeptics about the islet transplants. Maybe this will change their mind. Also i understand there may be some new techniques brought out this year to reduce rejection and therefore make the transplant last even longer and better. again thanks for this vid
