  • okey! i see that americans never ever heard of 1 or 2 gear! that subaru would have been out of that snow in half the time

  • Hold the fucking camera still jackass.....

  • I had a 1991 Subaru Legacy I am sure it would have done that!

  • Save your back...buy a Subaru.

  • I bet no CIVIC can do that!

  • @gogeleo How much?

  • @gogeleo it could and would. i bet that subaru was ona sphalt

  • I think it would be better to warm the engine a few minutes before you force it in that way, then instead of insisting on further to slide the wheel load would have been better 'rocking' the car back and forth a few times using the growing space. P. S. I have a subaru impreza. Buy Subaru!

  • Haha, I can't tell you how many times I've done this! Being a college student, I don't exactly own a snow shovel. Whenever the campus gets plowed (inevitably leaving large piles of snow in front of my car) I simply substitute the snow shovel with my Subaru. Works like a charm!

  • holy shit, i gotta get me that wrx sti

  • SUBARU POWRR!!!!1

  • shovel is for pussies ! :)))

  • gotta love Wisconsin!

  • think "B4" you judge lol.

  • Matty cant hear you!

  • now imagine there was no snow .... HA HA HA

  • Wisco Pride~!!!

  • Subby power hahahaha love it

  • the exhaust melted the snow

  • jajajaj se demoro mucho en salir no es como un impresa aguante subaru

  • That is really nice except for the fact the car has no snow underneath the frame. Simply put any car with AWD is only as good as the depth of snow to frame ratio. Any and every vehicle once snow, mud or any other debre gets caught up underneath litterly lifts the vehicle up and tires off the ground.

  • Thats what makes a Subaru, a Subaru ;).

  • I don't own a Subaru, but these videos I've been watching recently, make me want to go and buy one. They're unstoppable!!!

  • Subaru FTW

  • thats a nice way to destroy your engine and transmission

  • This car is awesome¡¡¡¡¡¡¡, is 4-5 speed or is automatic?

    I like this car.

  • buy a subaru is how.

  • nice way to warm up a really cold engine, not. impressive though :)

  • The camera man had no faith in the Subaru... well, I sure hope he has faith now!

  • I have a car just like this I drive only winter time so I can keep my sti pretty. They are _amazing_ in the snow! Im 100% going to buy another one.

  • Yup thats right just give er while that engines nice and cold.

  • ...now I want one!

  • nice snow flame decal on the side

  • Never question a subaru or mitsubishi

  • Only and I mean ONLY in a Subaru... I bought a 1997 Impreza on eBay for $1700 and I have been impressed from day one.. I still have this car now, 4 years later with 198,875 miles later and it still runs perfectly and goes through snow like a knife through butter.

Subaru ROCKS. It's a VW/Porsche Flat 4 engine with Japanese RELIABILITY mixed with amazing 4x4 that will go though anything and Amazing Handling that can take turns at 100MPH+ like a walk in the park.

    Subaru rocks.

  • As the right side mirror was blocked how could he tell he was going to miss the car next to him as he reversed?

  • impressive, may i should get one of these!

  • I feel so bad for your engine.... Ok I did the same thing this winter lol with my outback

  • 4Wdrive

  • Ah, the joy of owning a Subaru. The only time mine gets stuck is when the snow packs up under the frame and lifts the wheels off the ground.

  • As long as the exhaust is clear it should run.

Watch out for exhaust coming into the car, crack those windows.

Make sure you get an underbody wash to clean all the snow and salt off the underbody. Dont want to hasten the rust.

  • Well i know what my next car is going to be.

  • Righteous! I have the very same Subaru and like a previous commenter said: it's a bull-dozer. A little four-cylinder bulldozer.

  • A impressive and cool way to get your car out of the snow! :) but that is also a great way to destroy an engine, revving it that high just after starting it. but, nice vid guys! :) thumbs up from Norway!

  • @torebreivik10 Why? How bad is it? I mean come on, it's a SUBARU!!!!! :)

  • @torebreivik10 You're right!

  • @torebreivik10 i think this is an acception

  • @torebreivik10 yeh especially in cold weather lol thats like minus normal cold start

  • @torebreivik10 You also don't wana let it warm up because the snow would act as an insulator and it could overheat quite quickly! Although you may no this already just a friendly tip haha

  • High acceleration can kill cold engine. Not good. And summer tires in snow? Why?

  • @silverwaterz Why impreza would be dead by now then...

  • This is how you can destroy your tranny............

  • Step One: Buy a Subaru. Check!

  • @Highjak86 correction*** Step one: buy a Subaru

Step two: drive out of snow

  • @Highjak86 Step Two: Buy TWO Subarus...CHECK!

  • This is why Subarus kick ass. No matter how terrible you are at driving you it's quite difficult to stuck.

  • of corse its a subaru... those things are so nice

  • man these comments are stupid! good job getting out of the snow!

  • yeah. warming up would be nice but beside that thumbs up for showing that the grate "SUB" won again ];->

  • At least let it warm up before revving the piss out of it. Not to mention being lazy as fuck for not at LEAST shoveling it out a little bit.

  • @MalinTheSwede im pretty sure the point of the video was to show that the car COULD get out of the snow

  • GO USA!!!

  • cool video but you really should have uncovered the snow from the exhaust and let your subie warm up bro

  • @MJDEA yeah cause fluffy snow that melts just causes SO much backpressure yo, yeah and let your engine warm up cause the oil is stil frozen solid and engines are designed to just blow up and get ruined when you drive them cold, I know this im an expert on cars and how they work bros my mom let me drive her minivan once! bro.

  • lol ryan your cool

  • Subaru Power

  • DAS AUTO DAS SUBARU!!

  • Subaru best car ever

  • Here's how you got out of the snow. You drive a Subaru.

  • スバル 恐るべし!

  • dat subaru

  • could have let it warmed up b4 reving the piss out of it dumb shit

  • Yeah! The Subaru won the battle with the snow!!! :) :) :)

  • I had a Sube just like that. It was awesome. I never got that thing stuck. It was like a bulldozer...a little four cylinder bulldozer.

  • That worked out quite nicely. When the vid started, I thought it might have been a BIT more of a struggle, but never doubted it was going to come loose. Love the Subies though.

  • things a beast that was awesome

  • As a resident of your neighboring state, MN, i can appreciate the humor in this video :)

  • Now I don't feel bad about beating on my car in the winter

  • hope you let the engine warm up first. It can create extra wear by revving a cold engine

  • better not let your boss know that you own one of these AWD if you plan to skip work on a day like this.

  • that, looked like one hell of alot of fun. personaly, I dig a good creep, stop, then start digging and pulling again. ahhh, to be young...

  • Did that with a 1988 Subaru Leone Station some years ago... No big deal with 4wd and winter tires

  • WoW BAD ASS

  • what a beautiful sight. subaruforlife!!

  • vise ta camera sur le char calis stand still for a second you moron

  • subaru all the way :) but you should let the engine heat a little more before rev that hard ;)

  • BEAST!!!!

  • Because racecar? NO! BECAUSE SUBARU!

  • would love to see more videos of the car!

  • I just f*cking love Subaru. two in the family

  • great video.just proves how strong and reliable Subarus are.and HERE IN THE USA,WE DO WHAT WE HAVE TO DO,TO GET THE JOB DONE!!!

  • Nice..

  • COOL SNOW FLAMES XD

  • what's with the black smoke...thought it was a diesel at first...

  • @chiefy51 probably carbon from the exhaust

  • Your car rocks! This is why I have one too!

  • did the engine feel weaker due to the exhaust being buried in the snow?

  • @uakronsam116 not at all

  • @enkaynik thats what make a Subaru a Subaru

  • @uakronsam116 snow is not air-tight

  • @edrees1o1 as that's true, the exhaust obviously wasn't coming out as you didn't see it, and the exhaust didn't move the snow out of it's way upon starting the car LOL

  • @uakronsam116 unless a horny snowman broke his huge snowdick off while fucking the exhaust pipe and it froze solid your not going to loose fucking power because some snow is covering up your pipe!

  • @dirkaltman nobody asked for your smartass remark, sorry your tailpipe got clogged with snow! LOL

  • pour engine... are you idiots in usa???

  • @janl39 I may be an "idiot" but it is "poor" not pour engine. And no we are obviously speaking dutch not english in the video.

  • @enkaynik usa is not the only country tht speaks english dumb ass ... ur reply to janl39 was stupid

  • @TheRockisSmokin First, take a joke. Second, how could we not be from the US? We do no't sound British, not from Canada, a lot of other English speaking parts of the world do not get snow like we were in. Where else in the world could we have been, in feet of snow, speaking English?

  • @enkaynik people from canada sound like americans too .... im from toronto Canada and all the people here sound just like americans .... so yaa

  • @enkaynik in India :DDD

  • @TheRockisSmokin edit: and the "Wisconsin" on the lic. plates may have also been a clue.

  • @enkaynik Jesus, be nice. I thought it was Montreal until I noticed the plate isn't Canadian. You can't tell it's a Wisconsin plate if you're not from there, or if you're unfamiliar with US plates, and considering janl39 is Czech, how the hell is he supposed to know what the hell kind of plates they are. Canadian English and US English sound pretty much the same, so asking where you idiots are isn't that stupid a question. And spitting doesn't make you cool.

  • @enkaynik Worthless commenting

  • @TheRockisSmokin your face is stupid

  • @TheRockisSmokin yeah, but the car has us plates and he has a us accent. dumbass. it's called sarcasm.

  • @TheRockisSmokin Looks like somebody doesnt have a subaru hahaha

  • @TheRockisSmokin i think english is spoke in england too but either way subaru's are bad as cars

  • @enkaynik Revving the engine that much when it's cold can be a real hazard for the engine. I would probably try something like this if, but with less power. As long as the wheels turn, which they did, you don't need the extra power, by revving that much.

I live in Norway, where this amount of snow is quite common. Subarus are great when it comes to traction. One of my top choices when it comes to four wheel drive systems, alongside Audi Quattro, which I think is just a little bit better.

  • @janl39 LOL? Check the effin plate Saying Wisconsin

  • @janl39 why do you say so? Do you even understand what makes an engine stress? Yea sure it wasn't even warmed up, but car's are built to a certain quality to withstand that, even tho its still a good idea to do so. Even then i doubt they run the car like that all the time. Plus the didn't even rev it out that much. Do you even drive?

  • @janl39 its not bad for the engine at all... wtf are you smoking better yet what the fuck are you driving?

  • The snow popped out like a cork from the tailpipe, lol..

  • And that's what makes a Subaru a Subaru

  • Guy with the camera sounds like John Candy!! :D

  • @turnitupsnobordstyle lol he said John Candy

  • its a subaru dumbass they are great in the snow

  • Are you filming, then recording your voice with a microphone inside?

  • I've got an Outback H6 LLBean (see my channel)!

It's the same car as this one, but with more ground clearance, heated leather seats, and a bit more power >:)

    hehehehehehehe

  • and there goes like half a tank of gas... lol

  • like a boss

  • SUBARU ALL DAY!! i wouldve let it warm up a bit though lol

  • another reason why i wont buy a used car

  • @onenikkione really? one of the more ignorant comments I have read. PS, 1 year later, car is still fine.

  • @enkaynik That is a testament to Subaru - even when abused it still keeps going. Next time just unblock the exhaust then go for it :)

  • @onenikkione This is what Subaru's were made to do..........

  • @onenikkione How is this damaging the car?

  • i am honestly suprised u dident throw a rod through the side of the block runnin it like that when its cold

  • @BradleyFFGray they are cars, thats what they are meant for, especially subarus, they know people are gonna be doin this kinda stuff, if it were a quad or a snowmobile i would agree but its a car

  • What's so funny? Keep laughing for no reason. Like the car though. One more thing: WARM UP your engine before putting this much torque. Just advice. Good vid.

  • Worst camera work ever. Can't you just stand still for a second or two?

  • @snupcho sorry, next time I will keep your opinion in mind when I am messing around,

  • @snupcho I'd have been moving around if it was me filming, looks to bloody cold to stand sill

  • Ok.. but how do I get my shovel out of the snow without a car? :/

  • how did the thing even run with the exhaust basically buried in the snow?

  • My first car was an impreza.

I delivered pizzas during snow storms in new england

I made it up and down unplowed driveways like a boss

Thats the story of my Subaru.

  • You'd think they'd make more AWD cars.

  • i can do it better in RWD

  • if i had a sick legacy like that, well..,.daytons......

  • I have never seen a subaru get even that stuck in snow....They are beasts when it comes to snow. That had to be one heck of a packed snow....

  • stallion :)

  • Just regular all seasons

  • Blizzaks? What tires?

  • You should let your car warm up before gunning it like that.

  • I' am Gobsmacked

  • This is why Americans need to stick to V8 NA's....

With Flooring like that repeatably, you'll kill the engine and turbo...

Maybe tomorrow, maybe in 5 years, it's a case of luck/maintenance too,

But this is just NOT good for the block....

Nonetheless, it's a funny video... I would've done the same after letting the engine heat up a bit...

  • After watching videos like this on youtube I know I won't ever get stuck in the snow with my Forester.....

  • Great job! ;)

  • stop freaking out its called all wheel drive

  • Good vid!

  • give it hell right after cranking it....great job

  • @racingbred86

He really didn't rev the nuts off of it. I doubt he hit over 3.5k rpm

  • @enkaynik that's still not good for the engine. 2k on an engine that has been running for at least 30 seconds is the max i'd do. (in cold weather)

  • gotta love subarus. good job waisting a good $20 worth of gas though ;)

  • suba-suba-rooooooooooooo.

  • subaru !! subaru !!

  • Subaru really needs to use Youtube videos like this and other amazing feats Subaru's have done for there advertisement campaigns.

  • awesome video....it's what makes a subaru and subaru....BUT damn! Don't rip on your cold engine that much dude! Warm it up some first :-)

  • You sir are going to my favorites.

  • WTF...there are a bunch of hamsters carrying this thing out...it is the only plausible explanation.

  • Awd is so cool

  • I would have warmed up the engine before revving it that much. Jesus

  • I don't think a tranny rebuild is 6k, you can get a brand new trans for that. I had 3rd gear go on mine and it was like 1600 to rip it apart twice and fix the issues.

  • @enkaynik what did you have on the car for tires. winters? all season? studded?

  • @enkaynik no way does it cost 6000 for a transmission. damn. i spent like 700 all together to have my trans put in my car and that included a used transmission it wasnt awd but it was a 99 camry.
