Talking About Eldar: Special Characters - Eldrad and Yriel

what do you think about bringing three eldar wraithlord and a avatar for a 1500 list. It is used more a distraction unit to absorb fire while other unit move up the other side.

By the way, pretty sure you can't instant kill Yriel.

Can you put Yriel in Wraithguard unit?Or is it better to use him in a Seer Council or Howling Banshees?

You can use Eldrads 'Divination' to set up traps for your oponent.

If you're going first, pretend to deploy in a dumb way - not too obvious of course^^... drawing enemy forces aside.

Redeploy and use your advantage...

opening flanks ... drawing the opponent away from obejctives . etc.

I always use Eldrad & no other farseers...he's the man..

so eye of wrath is it an automatic hit on all in it or do u roll to hit (not like with his weapons kill it makes a giant difference)

@Skypad00 I just think about him getting pasted by a bunch of Thunder Hammer Terminators. He can get through most stuff but I killed my friend's with 10 guardians and my Farseer.

@SockSaver Um avatar has like WS10 and yriel has like 6 and avatar is strength 6 toughness 6 and has armour save of 3+ and invuln of 4+, yriel has same invuln and armour save. But overall avatar is better.

@Skypad00 but the avatar has to foot slog across the map getting shot down put yriel with a squad put em in wave serpent and he makes it to the fight.

@eldencolt123 true true, yriel wounds on 2+ lolz and is strength 9 against vehicles and he got powerweapon. But he's only draw back is toughness 3 and no powerful long ranged attack.

the Deceiver has an ability similar to the divination rule called grand illusion, basically you nominate a unit to redeploy and then roll a dice 1-3 it's redeployed but 4+ it's redeployed and then a further unit is selected to do the same. it can lead to the whole army being redeployed so i'd say it's better

It can go either way, personally I like the sureity that you will get at least 2 units redeployed, however I think the Deviever's is better, he is twice the cost of Eldrad though!

he may be double the points of eldrad but for those extra points you get a model which ignores all saves at S9 T8 and has a 4+ invuln protecting his 5 wounds. that's before i get into all his other abilities. Trust me, the Deceiver Rocks

Not possible, if he throws it, it returns and it cannot be abandonned, it was the price he had to pay to save Iyanden from Hive Fleet Kraken.
