Great performance tv1ks. I also belong among the players who beated the game in one credit and i also use some speed ups but not at the maximum as you look to do. I also once beaten him "by time passing" accidentaly, cause i missed shooting the shield in the 2 first attemps and he lasted long enough to self-destruct.

You definetly use the autofire (a tool i don't consider legit) but your performance is amazing. In fact, when playing further than level 7 it requires you to be in transe. Congrats

maybe someone wrote AI on the emulator to play r-type, not even slowmotion or drugs as hypothesized elsewhere.

afterall they've written chess programs, or AI for RTS games, etc..

OBVIOUSLY it's tool-assisted. No one can go that fast. Not without an emulator giving him the ability to slow down any arcade title (with downloaded files) to make an amazing video, which happens to be impossible in real-life, due to the natural limitations that are given to the human body, as worded differently by ZedekOfLP101.

This is tool-assisted, people. Meaning this was done on an emulator granting him the ability to slow the game down while collecting enough speed ups to make his ship move at a normal pace as if he were playing the game at regular speed.

Nothing impressive to see here folks, it's just for show, although it's funny to see that shit like this is actually possible if it weren't for the human body's limitations.

I realize now what my problem was, I always played this game drunk. And I never get more than 2 speed ups because of what the instructor of the seminar for DUI offendors told me, booze and speed don`t mix.

That is amazing. I always played this game at the arcade but can never beat the last master. You have to throw the force into it when mouth opens but that keeps you vulnerable with no shield. You have to face the aliens comming out on all sides and also the spheres that it throws out. By the time the 3rd sphere comes out I'm dead already. Is there a pattern for those spinning spheres. This video is extremely fast. If I collect speed and go that fast I would eventually die hitting obstacles. HELP

Don't detach your force. When the indestructible fans start homing in on you, basically just move round and round in a big circle. You need to last only a minute or two before the boss dies by itself. No need for many speed-ups, either -- whatever's available in the last level is good enough. To make it through, you don't need to be nearly as good/lucky as the guy in this video. I certainly wasn't!
