Why would anyone actually read a book by O'Reilly on Lincoln? Is Billo known as a great biographer? A great writer in general?  Does he have a degree in US history? I heard the book, aside from its dramatic license, doesn't even have sources or footnotes. Good grief.

Love how Bill is essentially blaming the inaccuracies in his book on his co-author. "He did all of the research,"; so don't blame me for the Lincoln sat in the Oval Office line in the book.

I've heard from many independent sources that his book makes plenty of false claims and sugarcoats a tough and complex time in american history in order to serve his conservative agenda. In short, another worthless hagiography... "Gimme some truth?!" Read Gore Vidal's Lincoln.

Killing Lincoln is the best book I have ever read over the Civil War. It gives a lot more than the text books. Speaks of things I would not have known otherwise. Thank you Mr. Reilly very nice book.
