they came to my home town in england in 2002 i think and all my mates were super pumped. by the time they came and played, our friend the promoter had sent this song around all our buddies and i was sooooo blown away when they played it. it still does something to me. there were about 40 to 50 kids packed in a shitty now-defunct pub. AMAZING/
@littlejimmyjames Same story. My friends put on both the show from their 1st and 2nd European tour. One of the best bands out there doing this sort of thing.
@xrellerx ah thats great! my home town had such a dedicated little scene back in those days. it all went to shit when kids preferred DJ's and cheap drinks. yeah they were great. shame they couldnt keep it up over the course of their latter albums. they got a bit too polished and beefy for my liking but non the less still were great at what they did.
@MrSkateboardbassplay lol that was the other thing. me and a few mates all had a pop at figuring out all the parts for guitar and drums. never tried the bass part though. i watched the drummer from his left side. so smooth and graceful.
