they both survived bruce allen had numerous injuries and has since retired, the other driver kenny koretsky suffered a bruised hurt and numerous injuries as well and still races every so often but mostly owns a team right now

Thats actually recorded at the track off the Jumbotron, thats Bob Frye, the NHRA track announcer in the background. You can hear the reaction of the crowd in the background.

I was at that race and saw it as it happened. Man, I seriously thought Bruce Allen was a goner for sure. It weird to find out later that Kenny Koretsky actually suffered more serious injuries than Bruce did. Insane!! I'm just glad that both of them are A-OK. I've been a HUGE fan of Bruce Allan since his days with the Wayne County Speed Shop pro stock Camaro (mid-1980's).
