great you did this....your model supports two arguments made by scientists since the sinking....one, that it didn't lift an a tremendous angle before it snapped, and two, that the final plunge happened quite quickly and unexpectedly, causing the mad, suprised panic of the passengers who thought the ship, although injured, would float at least until the carpathia was able to reach her.

What I enjoy most about this video is not the video itself, but that someone's reaction to perhaps the greatest nautical tragedy in the history of the world was 'hey, you know what would be really cool? If I built a replica and sank it!' Seriously, I think that is great. The only thing that could possible make it better would be if they made 1517 scale model people who could drown in the freezing waters after the titanic sank.

@simtitan1 why a high angle? the greatest amount of force on it is when it just comes out of the water... and if you make the angle really high, say for instance it being 90 degrees... there's no force for it to break off to the sides... if you don't believe me ask someone around you that knows physics...

I have the same exact one, it has a switch on the bottom that makes it float or sink. if you choose for it to sink, a gash in the side opens and it goes down, splits in two, and dives

The first time it has sunk on your video unbroken portrays exactly what cientists has found out about its sinking. It sank entire and that made it float in vertical position, with its stern on the top for some minutes, but the heavy weight damaged its hull and when it finally plunged under water, some minutes later and meters from the water surface, it was torn apart into two pieces which dove into the ocean and ended up laid on the bottom of the sea about 500 meters apart from each other.
