  • LILLIE B.WILLIAMSON 2008-09 "SHAME" KILLED DIS ONE BABY WORRRRKK OUT LIONETTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @09MISSJAZZY HOW DUMB ARE YOU? A lot cause you went to williamson talking bout what some 2008-09 williamson did? This video is from our 2004-2005 school year in which I can show you some videos from what your school was doing that year asides from being DIRTY. It's something how you DHS-Dirty High School kids don't know about ya'll band, but know everything bout ours. I have some videos of williamson from them days; wanna see where ya'll fit into marching bands in Mobile? I bet you stop posting!

  • yall lost alot of ppl this year, yall still good though!

  • FAMU look a likes.......i love it though haha. i say it with love

  • i mean dey remind me of jsu a lil cuz dey drummajors its juz dey intro was sloppy

  • drum majors suck

  • @tjames20 the drum majors sucked>?? really i dont think so.. we were BEAST.. sorry

  • @quisey06 3 of dem niggas was bout to fall and dey tripped

  • Looking forward to seeing the Leflore band perform tonight at the 3rd Round Playoff game in Demopolis.

  • Wayyyy back in the days (early 90's), my freshman year, we actually boasted a band over 300 members and EIGHT drum majors!! Now THOSE were the good ol days!! GO RATTLERS!!

  • Yeah!!! Those were the days of LEFLORE UNIVERSITY. LOL. Where are Henry Shoots and Regina btw?

  • this is a high school

  • Good Show, but far from the best Drum Majors 2 come through Leflore. Leflore Drum Majors used 2 have Poise & actually lead the band. These guys only dance. Still a good show. The sound isn't round like it used 2 b & of course the size 250-300+. I don't know who I would say the best Drum Majors were, but I know some of the most influential DM's ever were Marlon Burks, David Thomas, Vernon Easley, Marquis Parsons, Ian Parsons & Gordon Clark. I think you guys r still playing his music even now.

  • Wow, I'm flattered. I think that they actually did a good job leading. What u have to look at is that They're marching style is different then theold Leflore. It's more about flash than poise. Also, the Drum Majors aren't getting the Gel that we had only because of the mixture of styles. The band marches like Famu, does SU drill, DM's like Bethune and Auxillary like J-state and SU. So the styles won't mesh like it used to because there are too many, but they did an exceptional job. I'm proud. GC

  • Thank you.. SU and JSU'S Drum Majors were our inspiration so of course they had influence on our style.. that year we went to Bethune Cookmans Drum Major Camp for a week... they had a major impact on our style.. thats where the mixture of styles came into place

  • o yea we love Gordon.. But ask anyone, the FIVE ELEMENTS were the best there was and will be.. we made history!

  • What History? Just asking. Still Love Leflore. From what I can recollect, Leflore has ALWAYS made history. Especially the band. I agree with you Gordon, I'm proud of the Program too, but the difference, is substantial. The Discipline, showmanship, musicality, Band as a whole vs Drum Major Show, knee lift, Style etc. But You're being the humble you you've always been.

  • I cant speak for the present only the years i marched with the MMR Band.. go to the band room and check out the awards and accolades we received that year(2004-2005).. it makes you proud to say you are a Rattler

  • Proud to say I'm a Rattler anyway. Leflore Has ALWAYS won lots of Awards. And Accolades. (We were Ranked in the Nation bac in the Day) Not saying you guys are bad at all, just not the Same LeFlore. Most of our Traditions are gone. We don't even do the "Rattler Entrance" anymore.

  • Hey, Bro. Let up off him. I will say this to u, I look at all these Rattlers like my blood and won't have u badgering them. Times change. True we all made history, and Famu even uses the "Heartbeat" move from our performance in 96 and documented in Band history. The thing is, these kids are STILL making history in the name od LHS. We can all be supportive. The old traditions died cause we bicker instead of reteaching them. A lot of them have never SEEN the rattler entrance so how can they do it?

  • We can't live for back in the day. We have to adapt. True, I think we should've never lost our traditions I think they should be retaught so we can get back to the discipline and mature sound we once had. But I also understand we are under new guidance. Contribute to building LHS by helping the band out. And yes I'm still humble and I thank u for your compliments. I just think we need to help vs criticize. I didn't criticize. I WORKED with the band.

  • MAn! i just had a flash back!
