Omg, they are so fast and strong in the water O_O There was a good bit of current as well! The one to the right was trying to bite the other one's tail off, which is a sign of disrespect and embarrassment in the hippo world (i've seen it in another video too).

Try running in there and fight with them with a sword = 100% Certain death.

Great video but they weren't exactly fighting .Except for a brief skirmish it ended up with a "catch me if you can" game with the losing hippo attempting a clumsy buttefly stroke!!!

That was no game. Hippos don't fight with restraint like most other animals. Sometimes the winner kills the loser. He was running for his life, and getting his ass chomped in the process.

agreed, that "brief" skirmish was intense. Those are giant sword like tusks pointing forward and jutting upward from the lower jaw, when they bang into each other like that... well imagine 4 spikes being rammed into you by a an SUV.
