This Second Coming thing is just utter rubbish, How people buy into it all without questioning is beyond my understanding. "God is patient and doesn't want anyone to perish." Well how utterly absurd. Why after 2000 years is God STILL creating human beings with which to populate the earth, knowing full well that only a tiny number are likely to believe and "repent"? It really is beyond ridiculous.
You hit the nail on the head, the "generations" issue has caused much consternation, was it just from the time when the Romans devastated Jeruselum, or does it indeed have another meeting for our day which I do believe however, when that generation starts seems to vary based on interpretation and various world events..hard to really figure out when from a relative time frame, in a few years or is it a hundred years from now
There no other interpretation it is exactly as it says, "THIS GENERATION" the time and generation when he was supposeed to exsist.
The excuses are rquired because of the problem that he did not return.
The Romans were not driven out and various other claims failed.
Later Church fathers left it in not realising one day wide spread literacy would cause an issue as people picked out all the problems. One Bishop even expressed concern about literacy spreading.
@dmcarden It starts to all seem like insanity sometimes; or makes me feel insane. I decided to ask questions; be open minded and live my life focusing on the message of all religions, LOVE. And that is a big enough focus for us all for each day of the rest of our lives. I'm working on some new topics that might interest you so stay tuned.
I really appreciated your video gale, and I do think its good to ponder and try to understand what is meant by his coming back. Like the scriptures you read in 2nd Timothy, etc really do seem to reflect our current times and I too hear the "last days" since I was a kid and I'm about 50 years old now. Perhaps this global financial crisis is the beginning of the great tribulation, but hard to tell.

Jesus said in the last day men hearts will become blind, and God sent his son Jesus to save humanity. False prophets will rise, and their will be false teachers you have to have the Holy spirit, and read your bible!
My dear lady you may "believe" - but it is faith, because it lacks evidence.
I understand man has several Big Questions for which many religions have sprug up to provide an answer. However if there were anything as you said it is a choice to call it God and no such entity exsist as described in any of mankinds religious texts.
Been there done that uncovered the fraud and history. Seek and you shall find
is exactly what science and scholars have done and it debunks religion unintentionally.
Jesus is not coming back, never was I'm afraid. Religion is a Hoax. The power is within you not without. A recent survey found tha Atheists know more of what is in the bible than believers, by a lot. It surprised everyone. As an Atheist myself, I do read a lot and do read the bible to make sure it says what others or I claim. I do find the religious pick good bits, ignor the rest or take it out of its context and change its meaning if they don't like it. Deception of themselves.
I agree with you on some points. I've done some similar research. But I do believe there is an originator whom I choose to call God/Creator/Source from which all else was and is created. Seek and you shall find
@FreedomGale I kn that the kingdowm of heaven is within me because my heart and my mind is stead fast on YAHushua/Jesus and how he loved me so much that he would feel the pain...that calvary pain that would bring us back together again IF WE BELIEVE. we were seperated by sin/lucifer the great heater of God our father. and if the Devil haters our father so much, he must hate us too... It's all here, the Good, bad and the ugly and any which one we SEEK, that we will find. JESUS IS COMING
@FreedomGale THERE DEF is a CREATOR we have eyes to see ears to hear Its almost like he wanted us to experience what he had created so thats what he did by giving us eyes and ears. and a nose and taste.
@VideoAudioDisco09 Heres from someone who knows more then you.. Religion is a hoax your right. But the fact is SCIENCE and Historical FACTS Jesus walked among us. And the bible is an account of what people saw. Could they all be lying I think not. Plus they found Noahs Ark and All kinda things.. Found by historical facts by different people in the bible. And if the Brain is what causes the AFTERLIFE then why is it some people see heaven and some see hell. Do not be deceived JESUS is and was real
And one last thing. EVEN IF ITS NOT REAL! Which we know it is... THEN WE LIVED A LONG GOOD LIFE HELPED ALOT OF PEOPLE AND WILL BE IN HEAVEN FOREVER. AND IF ITS NOT REAL THEN WERE DEAD IT WONT MATTER. BUT Id rather BELIEVE theres a GOD and find out there isnt. Then NOT Believe find out there IS and burn in hell for all eternity. And with christianity its the only religion were GOD came to us we didnt have to try to make it to him. Thats how we know its real. and GENESIS talks about childbirthpain
@VideoAudioDisco09 Satan has fed you the biggest of all lies,O yes,the Devil is real, as much as God is real, GOD cast Satan out of Heaven. I have total Victory over Satan,IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.The Victory was at the Cross of Calvary, for every knee shall bow and every mouth confess, that Jesus is the Lord of Lord`s and King of Kings. you bow now or you bow later, but you will bow. Glory to GOD.
Can you disprove Gods existence? What comes to mind when you see a house? Do you conclude that it evolved? Obviously not! How much more so the complex program called the genome; or the organization of the celestial bodies in the universe and the precise distance of the earth from the sun which makes life possible? Humans dont even fully understand the brain. If a house had a designer, doesn’t it seem reasonable that more complex systems would have a designer too?
Dont get me wrong, I understand peoples feelings toward religion. Religion is guilty of millions of deaths and what is more, there is much hypocracy in religion which turns people off. However, if there exists a righteous God, how do you truly think he feels about such religions?
"And when YOU spread out YOUR palms, I hide my eyes from YOU. Even though YOU make many prayers, I am not listening; with bloodshed YOUR very hands have become filled." ISAIAH 1:15
That’s' definitely an understandable feeling especially if that’s been your experience with people. However a true Christian is one who actually strives to imitate Jesus, and of course this would show in that persons actions. What has been your observation of individuals that made you feel the way you do?
Good news Jesus is back again... in Kingaroy Australia.
Yes you know it 30-40 people have joined up already, people are so gulible and wish to believe.
If any of them had acctually read the bible they would know he was coming back 2000 years ago and failed, as so many promises and prophacies have. You need to remember it was a literary work not fact.
@VideoAudioDisco09 I just like to ask a question sometime. I like to see what others are thinking without giving them my opinion. I do think however because I've read the Bible enough that it is a combination of fact; allegory and parallels designed to teach lessons on morality and faith in God. God can never fail; if their is a fault it would likely lie in mans effort to speak for God and or to translate or manipulate what was originally intended.
Bible Facts are limited even geographic locations are known to be incorrect, a result of the inventers not being familiar with the area.
Lessons in being good, yes it has thoes but all religions have thoes and societies had thoes rules outside of religion long before the bible. However it is a religion for slaves and certainly requires no thought just faith.
Mans faulty interpretation could be described as doctrine and dogma, all invented to suit time, place and culture.
@VideoAudioDisco09 Thats actually a incorrect interpretation on your part. He meant he fulfilled the law meaning the ten commandments. thats why he said shortly after I now give you 2 new commandments... LOVE God wth all your mind body and strength... And love your neighbor as yourself.
@FreedomGale Morality? Are you saying that you can not tell the difference betwwen right and wrong unless it is biblical. I thought you said you read it? You need to really read it with the God-goggles OFF. (1 Kings 20:35-36 NLT) 1 Samuel 15:3 God commands the death of helpless infants. Psalms 135:8 & 136:10 slaughtering little babies. Psalms 137:9 infants should be “dashed upon the rocks more and more as well as the absurd. NO. I'm sorry I have higher standards.
lol people are still defending the NOT Slow in keeping promise god its been 2011 fucking years how is that NOT SLOW???? u get any fucking slower its never going to happen.... "NOT SLOW" lol 2011 + years isnt slow??? NOT SLOW ??? ITS TAKING FOREVER I DEEM GOD A LIAR
@invaseline You are very funny, and you sound angry at God. Well, just remember the book was put together by Roman Catholics. It's not all bad but; consider the source. Don't give up on understanding our Creator because of things you disagree with in the Bible. Okay, please. Just a suggestion. I just don't think that we should take it all literally.
Of course not literally, it is a work of fiction. Yes it was put together by Roman Catholics, man in general. However this is the only knowledge of this particular god or version of him you have unless you are Jewish.
YES, Christ is coming, but on HIS timetable, NOT ours:
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
He is waiting for the LAST POSSIBLE moment to return before the Trib--for all who is written in His Book to choose Him. If 1000 years is like a day to God, then it's only been 2 days since He was here! Not long at all. I believe "soon" to be God's perspective, not ours.
Yes, Christ is coming back, according to His own timetable:
2 Peter 3:9:
"9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
This means to me Christ is waiting until the VERY LAST POSSIBLE moment before the Trib, for every soul written in His Book to come to repent. If 1000 years is like a day to God, then it's only been 2 days since He was here!
FreedomGale, you are blessed since you are waiting for his return.
don't worry,he knows you are thinking about his return.
HE searches everybody's hearts, that is how he knows who belives in him,and who doesn't.the comment that valhallian left is very pathetic and he will be sorry for CLAIMING who his god is.
1st off, if you are a Bible believer, you have to 1st & foremost take into consideration that a THOUSAND YEARS TO YOU IS LIKE A DAY TO THE LORD! That quote is in the bible, so your time & GOD's time are TOTALLY DIFFERENT!............ Let that marinate on ur brain for a second!
When Jesus said..."No one knows the day or the hour but my Father in heaven" , he is quoting a Jewish saying used to describe the uncertainty of sighting the new moon on Rosh Hashanah. 1 Thessalonians 5:4 tell us...." But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you like a thief (in the night)." The children of God are children of the light who knows the time of His coming is near. It is the sleeping christian whom Jesus will come upon as a thief in the night.
Because Jesus will come to rapture (snatch up) His church before the Great Tribulation (GT), we need to minus 7 years from 2018 which gives us the year 2011. The generation that Israel formed has not yet pass away & they will see the day of His coming. Please see the youtube video "Rapture is on Rosh Hashanah" to understand why many believe Jesus will come on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Some believe it will will happen on this year's Rosh Hashanah which begins at sunset on Sept 8, 2010.
@conservativemama09 Don't be discouraged. Rosh Hashanah Sept 8, 2010 was the date that some christians (not all) believe Jesus was coming back. In my earlier comments, others believe it would be Rosh Hashanah 2011, because 1 generation (70 years) after 1948 (budding of the fig tree, the birth of the nation of Israel) would be 2018, and if we minus 7 years tribulation period from 2018, then it would happen on Rosh Hasanah 2011. Just make sure you have oil (Holy Spirit) in your lamp when He comes.
I am no expert on this matter but I have done quite a lot of research both from youtube sermons and from the bible on this matter, and God has been faithful in that when we truly seek, He helps us to find the answers. Firstly the state of Israel was formed in 1948 and Psalms 90:10 tells us the days of our lives are seventy years. Therefore a generation is seventy years, not fourty years as you say. Adding up 1948 and seventy years = 2018......cont'd....
@martlut I don't claim to know the exact time of the rapture. But I do know what the bible teaches with regards the time of Jesus's coming. That 1 generation equals 70 years, the fig tree budding refers to the birth of the nation of Israel and that the true christians are not in darkness that the day of the Lord should overtake them like a thief in the night. If you do not believe in the near coming of the rapture of the church, ithen it is you who are in darkness.
FreedomGale Please do not be discouraged about the day of the coming of the Lord Jesus until you question what the bible says. When you do that, then the bible says in 2 Peter 3:3-4 that you are behaving like the scoffers in the last days saying "where is the promise of his coming" for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." You ask this question because you are ignorant of what the bible teaches.....cont'd.
@DamonParisOfficial The debate on Pre or Post Tribulation Rapture has lone devided many religions and people within the same religion. It seems to be clear to me that the Bible says the "Time of Tribulation" is the wrath of Satan on Gods People.
See-Daniel 12:1 and Rev. 13: 5--7. It says that it was given to dragon 3 1/2 years to make war with the Saints and overcome them. *Daniel 7: 21-28. In the Book of Revelation, each chapter is written in sequential order and overlapping the same time frame
@FreedomGale THANKS FOR THE REPLY SISTER I AWAYS THOUGHT THE TRIBULATION WAS GODS WRATH ON THE SIN IN MAN LOL MAYBE WE BOTH ARE RIGHT; I WILL DO MY RESEARCH AND STUDY AND ASK GOD FOR A CLEAR VISION ON THIS TOPIC THANKS FOR YOUR INFO NOW I HAVE A PLACE IN THE BIBLE OF WHERE TO START :-) ONE SECOND COULD IT BE THAT BOTH ARE CORRECT GOD COMES FIRST IN THE SKY TO COLLECT HIS PEOPLE THEN THE SECOND COMING IS AT THE END OF TRIBULATION? PEOPLE WILL TURN TO GOD DURING TRIBULATION TOO 1 thessalon..4 to5
No Problem, the 1st coming was when He walked this earth and gave His Life on the cross. The second coming is in 1 Thes. 4: 15-17. The "Day Of The Lord" is Gods wrath on Sin. The Devil and False Prophets. See: Rev. 16 "The Seven Last Plagues." See also Mathew 25: 41. Let me know what you think.
@FreedomGale hi i hope you are doing fine sister..THE SCRIPTURES IN MATTHEW 25 clearly says that there will be a rapture to me and reading down further on through rev 25 it clearly say to me that jesus will return unexspectly and whip those who are slacking and sending them to judgement through the tribulation where they have a second chance but may nned to suffer a painful death, to be martered, beheaded but if they stand faithful they too will make it.. rev 24 : 51,
@FreedomGale i believe god will spare those waiting for him through a rapture & we should just be ready & packed waiting at the window with our hands toward the heaven.... God is a good & fair god reading the scriptures he even gives the saints slacking a second chance for clearly there are saints durning tribulation that will be hunted down and killed for not taking the mark of the beast nor 2 worshiping his image.I GUESS WE MUST JUST BE READY AT ALL TIMES HOPEFULLY WE WILL GO THE FIRST ROUND.
Damon this is why I spend a good amount of time teaching "relationship." No matter what religion you are if you don't have a relationship with God/Christ then you will not fair so well in the judgment. Remember he will say to some "depart from me you workers of iniquity; I know you not." Knowledge is good; but relationship is better, perhaps even everything!
@FreedomGale this is true, i realized I NEED TO READ MORE OF THE SCRIPTURES TO SHARPEN MY SWORD OF TRUTH, many will tell us this and that but I guess as long as i have this relationship and pray THE HOLY SPIRIT will lead me into truth. You are so right one on one with GOD may be the best way to go in these days of science knowlege and false misleading teachings. I WILL STAY IN THE WORD AND KEEP PRAYING :-)
@DamonParisOfficial Yes, "study to show thyself approved; a workman rightly dividing the Word of Truth! Listen to my brother here on YouTube when you are chanced. ChuckBennet1. He's a very good Bible Teacher and Scholar.
Peace and Blessings, I think I'm going to do some new teaching on last day events in Scripture soon.
Read Matthew24:29 and it clearly says "In those days," as if were yet to come. Right before Matthew24:34 in Matthew24:32-33 it talks about parable of the fig tree giving us insight on what generation He is talking about when He comes. So when He says "This generation," He is saying the generation in which all those things come to pass. Hope this helped :)
@thevoice32 I suppose it could be interpreted that way thanks. But the word "this" always means now. The Greek word for this is "houtos," Strongs G3777 meaning "this one, visibly present here." You can look it up. The history of "in those days" in scripture is used in both a past and present tense in this case it would makes sense pointing to the future. It is a bit of an oxymoron.
As human beings, we all need something to hope for. Seeking a return gives people hope. They want to believe it because they feel lost and want to be rescued. Not everyone feels lost or abandoned.
The feeling of abandonment doesn't fulfill our need to expand ourselves. I believe this is why we keep making the same mistakes throughout history. Either we're very stupid creatures, insane animals or blind fools. We have ways to solve many problems. What's wrong with us?
I don't think jesus ever exists or even walk the face of the planet. I think jesus is a copycat of ancient egyptians neteru name Heru aka horus. I think people, especially black people are too messianic prome and that has keep us back alot. We need to stop believing in these fairy tale stories. No historian that supposely live around jesus's time even mention him. Why is that? The bible is a corrupted manuscript of the ancient egyptians book of coming forth by day and night.
@Thutmosis7 Thank you for you comment. I have read books that suggest the same thing. However, what's problematic for me is what ever is you believe or think you can find so much information to support it. When you doubt it, there is so much information against it. Oh...what to do? So, I've decided to just ask questions and continue to gather information. But, I've come across this video series here "Why won't God heal Amputees!" that ask a lot of pertinent questions that make you wonder. Peace
@FreedomGale Anytime just talking the truth. I wish people would understand the story of heru and know it's symbolic. But when the greco roman made contact with egyptians they try to make the story historical and so the story lost the true meaning. Hopefully my people will wake up soon. Peace sis
@Thutmosis7 Another part of the problem is that Christianity refers to it as "Babylonian or Pagan Worship." Heru, being the child of the holy family triad; brings to mind the father son and holy spirit triad of scripture. The story of Heru is the first in history I believe to bring forth the holy family triad. Both births of the "Son's" were supernatural. We see the same pattern in Greek Mythology and nearly every other religion. So, we may all be able to agree that their was a Holy Triad.
truth is Jesus is coming. the bible says in 2Peter 3:8-9 ''but do not forget this one thing, dear friends:with the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day. the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,as some understand slowness. he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.'' the gospel needs to be preached all over the world also before he comes. but he will come. be prepared. not saved? read acts 2:38. key to salvation
That is a very nice and loving answer. But it still does not address as what is said in Mathew and Luke "specifically. " In Dan 12:9 it says the end will come 1335 After the abomination. Do we then apply the day for one thousand years theory? I know it is used in prophecy but who got to decide to do that? When I watch world history in relation to Bible prophecy things that are predicted are happening but not necessarily in the same time frame. What came first the chicken or egg?
I don't need religion. I have my own belief system. I suppose Christ could return however we don't need him to become aware of who and what we really are beyond the human consciousness. We cannot be lost, we are one. I believe Jesus's higher self chose to live beyond the human consciousness in this reality like when we existed in the Lemurian or early Atlantean periods to teach those who were seeking spirituality from withinside the limiting human consciousness veil.
There is no known geological formation under the Indian or Pacific Oceans that corresponds to the hypothetical Lemuria. It takes as much faith to believe in this then it does some of the stories written in some religious books.
God with us; in us not separate from us is the beauty in any belief. Any belief that positions God outside of us alone is concerning. Thanks for watching!
I was not referring to any geological area for the lemurian period. It wasn't an area, it was a period a LONG time ago. Current theories may get into "where" it was but what they don't realize is that the lemurian period was everywhere in this reality long ago, a period, not a specific place. It was a rather hazy reality then where we all had full understanding of what we were and had the ablility to leave it without "death." We had more ability then Jesus. Jesus was not superior. Nobody is.
@GranFury440 Today you have been my teacher. If we all sit down and learn from each other without our defense mechanisms we can perhaps figure it all out. Do you think that is possible, or are people to stubborn set in their own ways and willing to cling to lies and half truths?
Well.... I don't know about teacher but that is what I THINK I know. There are all kinds of literarure on subjects like these. Maybe I opened your mind into that being a possibility to you. Whether I did or didn't doesn't matter, there are no consequences or judgements either way. I am all too glad to say that NO ONE is superior no matter what they believe or know. We are all equal but different, no higher no lower. I learn from you too.
Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
I have yet to see anything fearful in the sky(heaven) as descibed by luke if that is what he means by sights< sights and great signs should mean things seen.yet nonething scary have I seen.maybe were just too hollywood programed and numb to what really should be frightful to us?
@Sev7enthseal I haven't either, neither have they been recorded by the family members who where alive 3 generations ago. Nor are they recorded as having happened in scripture which they should have been if they were to happen before that generation passed.
Many of these things; wars, pestilence, famines etc. can be seen throughout history. Some say they've happened in the 1980s. I was alive then. I don't recall it do you?
Jesus was talking to his disciples when he said that. They specifically asked them what would be the signs of His coming. The way it is written; if your theory is correct then any generation that read it would be able to apply it to themselves.
@FreedomGale Yes this is true and this is exactly what has happened. For centuries man has believed that his generation would usher in the 2nd coming of Jesus. The word generation simply implies a cycle af time or an age. Bare in mind also, that the perception of the SC has been cultivated by the Roman church and her daughters the protestant church. Search within your own heart for the truth. Its there.. you know it is.
Attempting literal interpretation of historic metaphor allegory & parable within the context of popular thinking limits consideration of our evolving spirituality drawing one into a maze of dogma driven agenda the rabbit hole becomes an infinite tunnel of seeking what may never be found & missed by most, as proper meaning is obscured by changing times traditions & views of which there are many ;)
thus easily giving an impression that he has not returned & his generation has passed from being...
Your words are always well appreciated. However, it says that "this generation shall not pass until all those things were fulfilled. In other words, it was to happen in their time.
I do agree I have felt like I was lost in a maze of dogma and contradiction many times. It can be frustrating. But, I still think it's a question that needs to be answered.
Attempting to interpret the Bible and prophecy is what is intended when it comes to Prophecy and end time events. But, relationship matters
@FreedomGale - In who's other words says it was to happen in their time & what dogma is being used to discount thousands of years of spiritual trust in the reincarnation and everlasting spirit of humanity to co-create it's destiny upon this world.
Just as the End*Times are subject to ALL manifestations of our reality so is the coming of a teacher as are prophecies subject to alteration in the slightest or most dramatic of ways & so the answer is not simply found in a single faith nor religion.
@PeaceProfit Sometimes it's so difficult to understand you. You said three mouthfuls in the first sentence of which feels like an incomplete thought and almost enough to ponder.
I ask questions to make people think. To think about the things that don't make complete sense. reincarnation is not a christian belief but a spiritual concept. If Christ does come again; then there is no reincarnation. If there is reincarnation, there is no need for Christ. Religion leaves a great burden upon man.
@FreedomGale yes... my*apologies 4 the difficulty in understanding my*truth, though it is offered so as to allow one to ponder & question their own, others & my*trust, for ALL play their part in creation of our destiny therefore to discount or negate the "NEED" of any, leads to confusion and a devastating omission created within the heart & soul of their community, thus one must consider that the means & perspective by which events unfold are subject to the co-creation of ALL 4 the Greater*Good.
What I specifically mean is your sentence structure. For instance, you said all the above in one sentence. In my writing to you above you see 5 periods 9 (.) or full stops. Where as you cram a lot in one sentence with comma's but perhaps should be periods. Leaving the reader to have to organize your phrases where we think they should be. That leaves me wondering if that was really what you meant; since I'm doing the arranging you should be doing by using more periods not comma's.
@FreedomGale Ahhhh, yes... well... i am a simple carpenter. With the heart and mind of a poet, in possession of an informal education which affords limited skills in the area of conventional communications. i appreciate your efforts and feedback. Again my apologies for any difficulty or frustration in dealing with these shortcomings.
The kingdom of god is within you. Amen my sister. Have love within your heart and cast forth the love within to all, To hear the good word the end is soon. But the end is a new being of love and peace on earth.

Jesus has already come. I know.
The other day I was out walking on a deserted road.
Then I felt something wet hitting me on the head.
It was Jesus cum, he was coming from heaven. I opened my mouth hoping to catch some jesus juice but the miracle didnt occur again.
I told this story to a friend and he insists on always using an umbrella when he goes outside out of fear of getting zombie jew juice on his head!

What a load of crap.
Joshua said he woud return BEFORE this generation has passed... FAIL
Exedos now accepted it never happened, Nazareth not occupied during time of Joshua.
Bethlehem under question too. God makes lightning, waves, storms, earhquakes all now know NATURAL events. When will it dawn on you its a myth.
Question. Can you prove God without using the Bible? He could not write the Bible if he does not exsist right! So can you prove it without the Bibile.

VideoAudioDisco09 9 months ago
@VideoAudioDisco09 I just like to ask a question sometime. I like to see what others are thinking without giving them my opinion. I do think however because I've read the Bible enough that it is a combination of fact; allegory and parallels designed to teach lessons on morality and faith in God. God can never fail; if their is a fault it would likely lie in mans effort to speak for God and or to translate or manipulate what was originally intended.
FreedomGale 9 months ago
@FreedomGale
VideoAudioDisco09 9 months ago
@FreedomGale
The original intention was to create a revised new version of Judaism to sell to ROME and its empire.
It started as a reading list you realise not a book. The list varied from place to place as did what it all ment.
It was attractive to slaves and the low class where they developed the mass following.
What you have now is a book completely compiled by man using the vote and compromise.
Jesus said- I HAVE NOT COME TO CHANGE THE LAW (or religion) he was Jewish.
VideoAudioDisco09 9 months ago
@VideoAudioDisco09 Thats actually a incorrect interpretation on your part. He meant he fulfilled the law meaning the ten commandments. thats why he said shortly after I now give you 2 new commandments... LOVE God wth all your mind body and strength... And love your neighbor as yourself.
1xThreeDaysGrace1x 5 months ago
@1xThreeDaysGrace1x
incorrect interpretation ? There is no interpretation there is what is written.
Interpretation as you would use it is the appologists tool to smooth over the endless contradictions and internal uncohecive fabrications.
Sorry excuses do not count as persuasive argument or evidence, they rather tend to confirm the weakness of the position you hold.

It is the sleeping christian whom Jesus will come upon as a thief in the night.
opsvideo2008 1 year ago
Because Jesus will come to rapture (snatch up) His church before the Great Tribulation (GT), we need to minus 7 years from 2018 which gives us the year 2011. The generation that Israel formed has not yet pass away & they will see the day of His coming. Please see the youtube video "Rapture is on Rosh Hashanah" to understand why many believe Jesus will come on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Some believe it will will happen on this year's Rosh Hashanah which begins at sunset on Sept 8, 2010.
opsvideo2008 1 year ago
@opsvideo2008
well..... THAT didn't happen. I sure wish it had, though.
conservativemama09 1 year ago
@conservativemama09 Don't be discouraged. Rosh Hashanah Sept 8, 2010 was the date that some christians (not all) believe Jesus was coming back. In my earlier comments, others believe it would be Rosh Hashanah 2011, because 1 generation (70 years) after 1948 (budding of the fig tree, the birth of the nation of Israel) would be 2018, and if we minus 7 years tribulation period from 2018, then it would happen on Rosh Hasanah 2011. Just make sure you have oil (Holy Spirit) in your lamp when He comes.
opsvideo2008 1 year ago
I am no expert on this matter but I have done quite a lot of research both from youtube sermons and from the bible on this matter, and God has been faithful in that when we truly seek, He helps us to find the answers. Firstly the state of Israel was formed in 1948 and Psalms 90:10 tells us the days of our lives are seventy years. Therefore a generation is seventy years, not fourty years as you say. Adding up 1948 and seventy years = 2018......cont'd....

martlut 1 year ago
@martlut I don't claim to know the exact time of the rapture. But I do know what the bible teaches with regards the time of Jesus's coming. That 1 generation equals 70 years, the fig tree budding refers to the birth of the nation of Israel and that the true christians are not in darkness that the day of the Lord should overtake them like a thief in the night. If you do not believe in the near coming of the rapture of the church, ithen it is you who are in darkness.

SO ARE THE SAINTS STILL ON EARTH DURING TRIBULATION?? WHAT ABOUT THE RAPTURE?? I DONT UNDERSTAND :-(
DamonParisOfficial 1 year ago
@DamonParisOfficial The debate on Pre or Post Tribulation Rapture has lone devided many religions and people within the same religion. It seems to be clear to me that the Bible says the "Time of Tribulation" is the wrath of Satan on Gods People.
See-Daniel 12:1 and Rev. 13: 5--7. It says that it was given to dragon 3 1/2 years to make war with the Saints and overcome them. *Daniel 7: 21-28. In the Book of Revelation, each chapter is written in sequential order and overlapping the same time frame

Thutmosis7 1 year ago
@Thutmosis7 Thank you for you comment. I have read books that suggest the same thing. However, what's problematic for me is what ever is you believe or think you can find so much information to support it. When you doubt it, there is so much information against it. Oh...what to do? So, I've decided to just ask questions and continue to gather information. But, I've come across this video series here "Why won't God heal Amputees!" that ask a lot of pertinent questions that make you wonder. Peace
FreedomGale 1 year ago
@FreedomGale Anytime just talking the truth. I wish people would understand the story of heru and know it's symbolic. But when the greco roman made contact with egyptians they try to make the story historical and so the story lost the true meaning. Hopefully my people will wake up soon. Peace sis
Thutmosis7 1 year ago

@teamapostle
FreedomGale 1 year ago
I don't need religion. I have my own belief system. I suppose Christ could return however we don't need him to become aware of who and what we really are beyond the human consciousness. We cannot be lost, we are one. I believe Jesus's higher self chose to live beyond the human consciousness in this reality like when we existed in the Lemurian or early Atlantean periods to teach those who were seeking spirituality from withinside the limiting human consciousness veil.
GranFury440 1 year ago
@GranFury440
FreedomGale 1 year ago
I was not referring to any geological area for the lemurian period. It wasn't an area, it was a period a LONG time ago. Current theories may get into "where" it was but what they don't realize is that the lemurian period was everywhere in this reality long ago, a period, not a specific place. It was a rather hazy reality then where we all had full understanding of what we were and had the ablility to leave it without "death." We had more ability then Jesus. Jesus was not superior. Nobody is.
GranFury440 1 year ago
@GranFury440 Today you have been my teacher. If we all sit down and learn from each other without our defense mechanisms we can perhaps figure it all out. Do you think that is possible, or are people to stubborn set in their own ways and willing to cling to lies and half truths?
FreedomGale 1 year ago

Sev7enthseal 1 year ago
@Sev7enthseal I haven't either, neither have they been recorded by the family members who where alive 3 generations ago. Nor are they recorded as having happened in scripture which they should have been if they were to happen before that generation passed.
Many of these things; wars, pestilence, famines etc. can be seen throughout history. Some say they've happened in the 1980s. I was alive then. I don't recall it do you?
FreedomGale 1 year ago
"This generation shall not pass" may be referring to the generation that is alive and witnesses the signs that Jesus spoke of.
roddex 1 year ago
@roddex
Jesus was talking to his disciples when he said that. They specifically asked them what would be the signs of His coming. The way it is written; if your theory is correct then any generation that read it would be able to apply it to themselves.
FreedomGale 1 year ago
@FreedomGale Yes this is true and this is exactly what has happened. For centuries man has believed that his generation would usher in the 2nd coming of Jesus. The word generation simply implies a cycle af time or an age. Bare in mind also, that the perception of the SC has been cultivated by the Roman church and her daughters the protestant church. Search within your own heart for the truth. Its there.. you know it is.
roddex 1 year ago
Attempting literal interpretation of historic metaphor allegory & parable within the context of popular thinking limits consideration of our evolving spirituality drawing one into a maze of dogma driven agenda the rabbit hole becomes an infinite tunnel of seeking what may never be found & missed by most, as proper meaning is obscured by changing times traditions & views of which there are many ;)
thus easily giving an impression that he has not returned & his generation has passed from being...
PeaceProfit 1 year ago
Your words are always well appreciated. However, it says that "this generation shall not pass until all those things were fulfilled. In other words, it was to happen in their time.
I do agree I have felt like I was lost in a maze of dogma and contradiction many times. It can be frustrating. But, I still think it's a question that needs to be answered.
Attempting to interpret the Bible and prophecy is what is intended when it comes to Prophecy and end time events. But, relationship matters
FreedomGale 1 year ago
@FreedomGale - In who's other words says it was to happen in their time & what dogma is being used to discount thousands of years of spiritual trust in the reincarnation and everlasting spirit of humanity to co-create it's destiny upon this world.
Just as the End*Times are subject to ALL manifestations of our reality so is the coming of a teacher as are prophecies subject to alteration in the slightest or most dramatic of ways & so the answer is not simply found in a single faith nor religion.
PeaceProfit 1 year ago
@PeaceProfit Sometimes it's so difficult to understand you. You said three mouthfuls in the first sentence of which feels like an incomplete thought and almost enough to ponder.
I ask questions to make people think. To think about the things that don't make complete sense. reincarnation is not a christian belief but a spiritual concept. If Christ does come again; then there is no reincarnation. If there is reincarnation, there is no need for Christ. Religion leaves a great burden upon man.
FreedomGale 1 year ago
@FreedomGale yes... my*apologies 4 the difficulty in understanding my*truth, though it is offered so as to allow one to ponder & question their own, others & my*trust, for ALL play their part in creation of our destiny therefore to discount or negate the "NEED" of any, leads to confusion and a devastating omission created within the heart & soul of their community, thus one must consider that the means & perspective by which events unfold are subject to the co-creation of ALL 4 the Greater*Good.
PeaceProfit 1 year ago
@PeaceProfit
