I just bought his "Contemporary Fingerstyle Guitar" DVD by Mel Bay -- although I mistook it for an instructional video, it turned out to be very useful seeing his hands close up. I got his "New Acoustic Guitar" book/CD about a decade ago, and your video prompted me to dig it out again. I find Peppino's music much more enjoyable than some of these new players concentrating on finger-tapping and percussive effects. I respect these coordination skills, but it can grow tedious after a while.
@orlandoguitarist I have that DVD, and the book as well. And I completely agree with the comment about finger-tapping and percussive effects. Peppino has used them sparingly, thankfully. I tire of that quickly.
So did you ever end up taking any lessons from Peppino after seeing him live??? Don't feel bad --- I remember when I was studying in music at Rutgers in NJ about 25 years ago and all my friends telling me I had to go see a great jazz player at the student center. I declined, not being a real jazz guy. It ended up being Pat Metheny and now I've seen him about a dozen times and will travel hundreds of miles to see him if he doesn't come to my area.
Hi, could you tell me what strings you use please?

@orlandoguitarist Nope! A big regret... but, his music kept me interested in guitar for years, so I'm grateful for stumbling across him nonetheless.

Yes!
I always wanted to learn this piece. Lagavulin and Born in the Sea are just
so sentimental....
