I had Pica when I was pregnant. I had a craving for the soapy sponge when I was washing the dishes. I know it sounds crazy, how do you think I felt?! LOL! It was weird because it really felt like a genuine craving. I never tried to eat it though, I'm not an idiot. I actually went to the doctor (unlike the pregnant chick in the show) and was diagnosed with Pica due to a mineral deficiency. I got on iron pills and the cravings went away. It doesn't hurt to get help!
