Some male Buddhists indulge in cyber bullying against Buddhist women who are also Lamas, Tulkus and Rinpoches. We must work together to promote gender equality in all areas of life, also in Buddhism. Gender Equality and empowermnet of women is important Millennium Development Goals of United nations. We are all part of this process .

When women are free to be educated and stay home with their children and receive social security for that effort, then we will have true equality. Humanity is all one thing. Dividing humanity into gender subgroups is like cutting the baby in half. Women are designed to make new humans but with 7 billion, don't we have enough? Women's equality shouldn't be at issue.
When men live in a society that supports men to take care of kids (parental leave, part-time job support), I think the world will be in a better place. Women will only gain power peacefully once the men live the same experiences and responsibilities a women have. Leave a man with a new born(3 month) kid for 3 days alone... He will understand the challenges, fears, responsibilities discussed by women because he has lived it and would make decisions based on compassion and sharing.

All those stories told of how bad demons are, their scariness and evil intentions, are really just big insidious lies! We have been brainwashed and fed such vicious propaganda about them so powerful people could control us to hate others labelled as evil. It would then be easier for rulers to get people to support harming others.

3.ancient Greek ruler: in ancient Greece, a ruler who took control of a state without legal sanction and governed with absolute power
