I would not want a world without priests and nuns of the various profounder religions. The world Baha'is want is one where there is no religious diversity and no religions of any depth.
A priest hood and a monastic class is better because those people truly renounce the world (as BuL advocated through the Hidden Words). More fully renouncing the and pursuing religious practices more intensively, they uncover the occult spiritual knowledge (mentioned so much in the Aqdas) for the people, guiding them from a higher perspective and plain. Wherever there are true renouncers of the "world of dust," the people are protected and blessed.
Yeah. B-u-L banned speaking from pulpits. Even though Baha'is did it constantly when I was a Baha'i. (So much for their grandious "Book of Laws.") They are supposed to, according to BuL, only speak sitting down on a chair, atop a platform.
The religion is full of weird little rules like this, but nothing about genetic engineering, porn, or industrialization. And it's supposed to guide mankind in all of its multifarious troubles for a thousand years.
"You have been prohibited from mounting into pulpits. Whoever desires to recite the verses of his Lord to you, let him sit on a seat placed on a platform"
Well ducko, you and flaws and the divine have sure convinced me. If the way you 3 carry on are the alternatives offered by this Faith, I am going to become a Baha'i. You three guys have got to have the most bizarre ideas and beliefs I have ever witnessed. This Religion offers the most lucid, clear and concise explanations for any of your diatribe. Many thanks for this,
I am most impressed with your ability to write such a large number of comments. In order, in a row. It is unfortunate that I cannot understand what you are trying to get at, but I am impressed.
@duckotaco you CANNOT, baha'is, possibly think that you are BETTER than others, only because you're baha'is, and possibly bad baha'is. This is not a definition of "betterness" in any world. Oh well, In the baha'i world they tell you so, as they did to me. I TOO THOUGHT I WAS BETTER THAN ANYONE. I WAS A FUCKIN' FOOL. I hope you grow up as well as I did. It is scary to find these mini-mes of myself as I was, fools of sixty years old while I stopped being stupid at twenty. They march onward!
@duckotaco baha'is only see the surface, and think if one SEEMS nice, then IS nice.
Also children know that LOOKING does not mean BEING.
Most baha'is only try to look nice, but they ARE not. Superficial much. They don't fool a fuckin' chicken. Begin thinking about the idea of BEING in truth, for once, instead of focusing on how better to fool yourself and others int thinking you're good people! You maybe don't swear, but some of you remain disgusting human beings on many levels!
@fsmtdaler Micheal Jackson fans, please go ahead: abuse this man convinced he's better than the perfectly excellent and much superior to him Micheal Jackson. This fuckin' man claims the leadership of the world through "bahai superiority" while he is only INFERIOR to non bahais.
And fuck this stupid video and the stupid idea that the world is "one"! The soul is in the individual...only individuals can attain genius, enlightenment and the sorts...not GROUPS! Not ideologies!
The individual will must rule over the manipulation of society, groups, cults, religions, institutions who only want to control for selfish motives expecting YOU to not be selfless while THEY can be as pigs as they want! No group or religion or institution can ever hold the authority of the truth!!!
@duckotaco We raised alot of hogs back on the farm. They were quite happy to wallow in the mud and their own feces. You seem content where you are. Peace
@fsmtdaler oh yes yes, I am a hog and you're an enlightened human being. NO DOUBT! I must be megalomaniac to think that it is not so, that this is just your wishful thinking.
@duckotaco You are projecting your sense of insecurity onto me. I am not superior to anyone. That is what threatens you. In Judo, we were taught only to transfer the aggression of an attacker against himself. That is what mirrors do. Polish and reflect light. It is not my light. Nor your light. It is simply light. If surfing the waves of light upon this ocean tires you, perhaps it is time to rest, or find another Dojo...
@fsmtdaler you're so ignorant and a wishful thinker who doesn't speak truth although he tries hard to project an image of wisdom. Age doesn't make you wise. The Baha'i faith doesn't make you wise. Sure you coud be right from time to time, but who am I to judge you positively or negatively. And I don't. But you judged me negatively, you called me hog, you don't see the good in Jackson, you think baha'is are better, you are too sure you're right (arrogant), and you're going to pay for that.
@duckotaco I offer you the opportunity to review your statements over the course of the evening. Then be truthful. You wallow. You whine like a crying infant throwing tantrums. Yes, I could observe silence, but regard it as more seemly to refute your tone and foul language, which is beneath the dignity of anyone who claims sincere and objective thoughts. I do not claim wisdom, only draw on the spirit of those who live and die for their beliefs. You would do well to honor their sacrifice
@fsmtdaler jesus fuckin' the christ. if you wish for me to review this or that, your desire will be frustrated: it will not happen. I mean everything I said and this is who I am, how I think; SUCK IT and learn to tolerate and respect ideas different from yours. You don't do that. You want me to honor this or that, YOUR FALSE GODS: but the only thing I honour is TRUTH, and not your false gods.
I AM ONE OF THOSE WHO LIVES AND DIES FOR HIS BELIEFS. You are nothing but their ENEMY
@fsmtdaler and I offer you the opportunity to review what you saud about me being a hog or not having dignity, and the spit on Micheal Jackson, a human being much superior to you. If you don't do that, as I said you will pay. You are right, you are not wise. If you said that I agree.
@duckotaco As to Mr. Jackson, he was an amazing talent who, unfortunately, indulged himself on stage, at times, exposing the lower nature in provocative ways. At other times, such as "We are the World", he gave voice to the spirit of hope and unity. He was a man, both good and bad, and a victim, as well as a perpetrator. Take it as you will. To cling to such adjectives as superior, inferior, are pointless. We are all vanishing dirt. Some men are very wise. Some are otherwise...
@fsmtdaler I sort of agree with this one. You sure don't define who is wise and who is not. And it's a contradiction with what you said before about superiority. Then you do think some people are superior and some are not, for wisdom or else. And you refuse to say that Jackson was better than you, because you are arrogant. HE WAS BETTER THAN YOU. Period. I like humble people. You're not
@fsmtdaler and YOU WILL PAY. Whoever harms me is WRONG. You called me hog, you insulted me. I AM A FUCKIN' NOBLE PERSON, much superior to you. YOU WILL PAY. You will learn humility and sto fuckin' around. Fuckin' inferior proletarian country man of my ass. I am so superior to you it makes me SICK! I don't want that! I want you to be better!
@fsmtdaler HARMING ME IS WRONG! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO INSULT ME AND BE RIGHT! I EXIST! I HAVE MY RIGHTS! I DESERVE RESPECT! nobody has the right to put down my ego! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO THINK AS I WANT! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO THINK YOU SUCK without harming you because you do! I think with my brain and not yours! Things are as I say, not as you say! fuck you!
@fsmtdaler complete lack of ego and pride is SUICIDE!!! People who give up ego are DEAD. And they are fools who expect eveyone to be humble...you know nothing, you harm the world a big deal! You are a failure and that's enough of a problem I wouldn't like to see! I sure would like you to be a winner! but at least don't dare asking others to fail as well! EGO IS ESSENTIAL FOR SURVIVAL, you quasi-religious fools! Organized religions kill ego and soul! They kill GOD!
@fsmtdaler expecting others to give up ego is a fuckin' huge sin in my book. If I'm right, you're going to pay. Fuckin' pussies.
IMPROVE YOURSELF WITHOUT PUTTING OTHERS DOWN. ENCOURAGE THEIR EGO, instead of putting it down. This is what I do to people. It's called being nice and friendly. You are not nice and friendly, albeit you're deluded you are because you're baha'i! As far as I know you're a bad and ugly person, mister! A person who tries to kill other's egos is BAD!
@fsmtdaler she does nothing but apologizing to me.
Anyway, it's getting boring isn't it? I say I won. I expressed my views and they are stronger than ever. While you lost respect to my eyes. I don't respect people who don't respect EVERYONE ese, including especially ME, because I AM ME, and I therefore, logically, respect myself more than anyone else. And this will never change. Bye.
@fsmtdaler and one thing is for sure: the more one tries to put me down the BIGGER MY EGO BECOMES! You fuckin' fail, you don't even know HOW to put somebody down. It's not easy to succeed or harm others and most people have no idea how to do it!
Demonization of ego is a FARSE of society. If you think I'm the only one thinking this, read fuckin' AYN RAND. And learn from others. And shut up. And stop being so sure of your highly inaccurate thoughts.
@duckotaco conclusion: in my eyes, this conversation only proves that baha'is, like all people too irrationally convinced of their own leaky belief systems, too based on blind faith while abandoning the all-important cold reason, can be little bullies, little insignificant ones who use manipulation, discouragement and small petty attacks without the honesty of a full blown hate attack like my beautiful honest rude ones.
@duckotaco and with this people, peaceful means or logic and reason go nowhere. I invite everyone to simply SHUN them out - if they don't respect other's opinion and thinking, we shall do the same, and more. THIS is a solution. Peace and unity only bring war.
I respect all human beings. But I have no respect for intolerance and lies. I HATE INTOLERANCE AND LIES AND I'M READY TO KILL FOR THEM. This is integrity. This is solution.
@fsmtdaler You call me hog why? because I said you are not superior to a leaf. You are INSANELY megalomaniac, and believe me: not many people believe you're superior to others - like, none. It is only in your head.
FUCK baha'is. May people see how arrogant and conceited they are. And this putting-down-egos-because-we-are-one is the most evil thing I can think of, just like communism.
Book of flaws, thanks for sharing the cause of your disillusionment with the faith. If you remember from the Kitab-I-Iqan there are several stories of how God has tested his servants. The two that come to mind included Noah repeatedly setting the date for the flood and having those dates pass without event, and Moses slaying a man before returning to the pharaoh with His revelation. The writings ask us: did you think that when you call yourself a believer you would not be put to the test?
One World = Boring. People want many worlds, and in fact the Creator creates many worlds. People pine already for the world contained mystery, distance, foreign things, undiscovered lands, peoples who were truly diffirent, etc. The Baha'i sales package is boring and not what the human soul wants. As soon as the Baha'is succeed in race-mixing humanity into one brown race, humanity will immediately go about trying to recover the different body types, with a passion.
@BookOfFlaws If all were of the same color the effect would be monotonous and depressing. When you enter a rose-garden the wealth of color and variety of floral forms spread before you a picture of wonder and beauty. The world of humanity is like a garden and the various races are the flowers which constitute its adornment and decoration.
Abdu'l-Baha
See I am old and retired and can copy and paste this comment all day if I want to. Change the record.(or CD)
@BookOfFlaws the baha'i faith will not succeed in doing so because as you say the "sales point" makes no sales.
Baha'is should in fact stop attempting to sell it, and since any reasonable person knows that it's not very "sellable" starting from the name, they do not sell it with convinction. So, sales are poor.
But as you mentioned there seems to be wisdom in the writings of bahaullah himself, but the organization as it is today is far away from those or anything spiritual atall
@BookOfFlaws the baha'i faith is at this point a "happy island" where one can find a community of almost brain-dead people for the most part who smile and sing together, pretty much like any other group or religion.
I used to be in that island and I do miss it. Unfortunately, that island is an illusion and has little to do with the real world. The bahai faith is a parallel universe completely separated from the rest of the world. It is not, at present, a relevant piece of reality
@deandobbert -- My big tipping point for leaving the B. Faith -- after giving it years of service -- was discovering that the Kitab-i-Aqdas actually HAD been translated, long ago, by Arabic scholars though the "institutions" and people like "auxiliary board members" constantly said "It's not been translated yet." Then when I found a copy and saw it, I understood why: It was too different from the progressivist "marketing package" that had grown up to replace the original authentic religion.
@BookOfFlaws Both are available on Google. What are the differences you are concerned about? There is always a good reason for authoritative translations.
@BookOfFlaws Both are available on Google. What are the differences you are concerned about? There is always a good reason for authoritative translations.
@BookOfFlaws To be honest I could read that book years ago, it was published officially in my country. So I don't know what you're talking about. It is true that the baha'i faith seems to be all about marketing, but I could access that book.
I read the Kitab-i-Iqan starting 30 years ago. It contains a great deal of Baha'u'llah's usual portentious language & fulminations about himself. But very little that is "deep" in the sense of religious knowledge. It doesn't deal with any ultimate questions or expose paths to God-knowledge. It's 100 percent about the world. For spiritual depth you need the Upanishads.

@SacredWord again same page...the Upanishads are THE spiritual wisdom of mankind...
racial identity is SUPER important too. May people learn to be THEMSELVES for once. I prefer bigot prejudiced country people to peace and love hippies who can only relate to other hippies...aren't they closed minded too.
--"I invite you to take a closer look, get to know some Baha'is, and read more deeply."--
I was highly active with the B. Faith for 15 years. I was doing the Baha'i chant (best thing they have, really) while the others said "We don't have to do that." I was reading the Kitab-i-Aqdas (translated by British Arabic scholars) when the "admin" was saying: "It's not been translated yet." I'd say I've studied it more deeply than you. I know what it really is, as contrasted with your promo package.
On slavery: Modern Whites have been subjected to huge propaganda to make them feel guilty over the African slave trade of long ago. Facts: Few Whites owned slaves. (But 60 percent of Jews did.) Slavery was a rich man's pursuit. It didn't exist among middle class & working class Whites. 2nd: Blacks sold their own into slavery. They are every bit as much to blame for it. 3rd, European Whites didn't bring the slaves to America. Asiatic Jews did. All of the slaving ships were owned by Jews. Grow up.
Peace comes from knowing God and becoming contented. I used to say all those "Baha'i Prayers for Contentment." They worked. Peace does not come by obsessing over bodies and colors and "all the races." Peace doesn't come by trying to "love everybody" or "save the world" or being externally focused. God asks that you love a few people who you owe your love and duty to. The human heart is happy with a few good friends and family."Loving all the world" is impossible, fake, an embarrassing concept.
Slavery has existed in "one world" totalitarian governments and realms. A centralized government is no guarantee against slavery. Being ruled by a One World Government will automatically enslave us by lack of choice and whatever one government decrees. Slavery started because Africans enslaved each other. (They still do.) Some White and Jewish travelers encountered it and rescued a few. Then Jews made an industry out of it. Who Created Slavery:
I have not expressed hatred toward anybody on this thread. How did the slavery topic come up? Why are you obsessed with slavery? That was a long time ago. Your own people outlawed it after messing with it a short time (in historical time). You appear to be hysterical or off-topic. I also am not against peace. I practice yoga (meditation), and it gives peace. Get some sleep so you can understand what you read. You watch too much TV. Find out who created slavery. You watch waaay too much TV.
Everyone is already separate. Are your arms melded with everybody else's arms? I'll bet you're not even close or "in unity" with your own mother and family. You can't be fused with all bodies. A few friends is enough. Your "one world" ball of jello is a dumb idea, plus wouldn't make you happy. Love your people. Love somebody. You can't merge with everybody. Be connected to who's appropriate. That's what God wanted. It's natural.
Many Nations and Peoples? Wonderful! Just the way God made it. Let it remain true.

Read about the religious diversity of the Baha'is and their many different sects. Reform Baha'is are probably the closest to the founders, even though they are race-mixers.

I "act like" I want to enslave people? Go thump somebody else's Bible. My interests are Hindu Yoga and the Yoga-Sutras, as I said. God in the Vedic sense does not "hate" people. I never said anything "horrible" here. Quote them, please. I think you have me mixed up with somebody else. You seem to be barking at trees. "Eats poop?" Why do you keep saying horrible things? Take your meds or call 911.
"Ok, Im bored today I think I will go stone and burn Christians for no good reason, just because I dont believe in their ways of doing things."
You stone people whenever you're bored? Do the police know about this? I grew up in a town containing many religions, sects of Chritsianity, different churches. Nobody stoned anybody. Do you live in some Arabian backwater or what? Make some sense here. I stopped reading after the first 2 lines because you appear to be on drugs.
@SacredWord I wouldnt do that, Im saying you should be, you act like you would. and if u actually lived by the bible, you would be. Your a stupid hipocritical christian who wants to disturb peaceful people by saying horrible things about them cause they promote peace. Im on drugs? YOu love a god who hates different people and eats poop and tells you to kill your kids to get to heaven Whos the one really on drugs here? Im fine with christians as long as they arent retards trying to spread hate.
"The well-being of mankind, its peace and security are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established."
"There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God."
"That which the Lord hath ordained as the sovereign remedy and mightiest instrument for the healing of all the world is the union of all its peoples in one universal Cause, one common Faith."
Islam, historically, was a very positive force...see the Rennisance for example which couldn't have happened without it. (They had the first public hospitals, universities, and were the pinniacle of science at the time.) The Catholic church, at the same time, was going through the Inquisition...not a very positive time at all for them. Think of it this way...in many ways Islam is currently going through Christianity's "Dark Ages." That was not, and will not, allways be so.
Thanks for the kind thoughts on your experiences with Baha'is. None of us are perfect, but it is true that the Baha'i faith places a much stronger emphasis on action rather than words, and so "living the life" is what it's all about.
@deandobbert -- However, Baha'is focus on external action and focus on the external world. Never has their been a religion that was that externalized and material. In reality, the Hidden Word that says "Look within thyself" is the most important Baha'i teaching, containing oceans of challenge and discovery. But Baha'is are the least interested in it. Because this is a spiritual teaching, and Baha'is would rather look outside to the external than inside for God.
a few thoughts: I dont see Islam as being a positive force in the world, frankly it has dubious origins and much immorality associated with it, however, the Bahai people I have met in my life have been exceptional people and a finer example of what a 'religious' person should be than many Christians I know, ......
Bah'a'u'll'ah refers to Jesus Christ as the Spirit! And I believe Jesus Christ would agree with Bah'a'u'll'ah teachings! The founder of The Bahai Faith has Glorified Jesus Christ's teachings! I Love Jesus Christ and I Love Bah'a'u'll'ah and I also Love Buddha,I also Love Moses, I Love Muhammad,The Holy Prophet,I Love David,I read The Holy Bible,The Qur'an and Bahai Writings and Buddha Writiings! I also read writings of others who have no faith at all inorder to understand the Non-Theist's
This religion is a cult. JESUS IS THE MESSIAH! The Bible was around way before Baha'i. The Bible teaches against false profits that try and take people away from what Jesus already taught us but many are so blind and depend on humans who say that they're above, someone that they can see. Remember, nobody should come between you and Jesus who is God in the flesh. Nobody and nothing. Jesus died for everyone. Who should you be praising, Baha'i (or any other religion/cult) or directly to Jesus?
@MetalEvangelion777 So your against peace and equality? But if you truly followed the bible, its says Psalms137-9- "happy shall he be, who taketh thy little ones and smash their heads on the stone". Why would you want to kill your children? Ephesians 6:5- "Slaves obey your human masters with fear and trembeling as to Christ." Amound many more horrid things to abide by. I think Id rather remain Bahai.
@SacredWord So your for slavery, killing people cause their different? Sick people. You PEOPLE show up and throw bibles in my face all day long. You curse people and ridicule them for no reason. are they doiing that to you? and u actually name your self, "sacredword? wtf?? All you people preach is hate, abandonment, torture, slavery, war, ext. If you really want to DO "your" gods word, go eat your own shit as the bible tells you to. Everyone would be bored? wtf is wrong with you?
"So your for slavery, killing people cause their different? Sick people."
You're fulminating about slavery suddenly? Are you delirious?
Yeah, nothing's equal. One cigar's not as good as another; one violinist is not as good as another; and the Hawaiians are not as good at technology is the Germans. But why do you want to enslave people because of that? If you are worried about slavery, look into Israel, where your headquarters is. It's the center of White slavery (kidnapped White girls).
@SacredWord Actually Im a white American Your bible preaches slavery, stoning people if they are born mentally disabled, hating women, eating poop, and killing your own children in order to get to heaven. Bahai faith is supposed to be about treating others as equals, you are against that. It has nothing to do with Israel dumbass. You come on this video which is about spreading peace, and you say your god warned u about us. WTF? Is Jesus satan? y would u even say that? go spread your crap else.
I've never thrown Bibles in anybody's face. My favorite scriptures are the Yoga-Vasistha, Yoga-Sutras, Bhagavad-Gita, Upanishads, and a few others. I have not cursed anybody, and have no hatred for anybody. You must be directing this to some other poster who you mixed up with me. You are hyperventilating. If you want to learn about unctious curses read "The Kitab-i-Aqdas." As to "one world," yes, everybody would be bored. Impossible is "one," and difference is more fun. Clean up your mouth.
@SacredWord ive seen your videos on you page sick freak. You are a RACIST and pride yourself on disrupting peace. EVERYONE READING THIS GO TO SACREDWORDS PAGE AND SEE THE FIRST VIDEO THAT POPS UP. Your saying slavery is more fun since you like everyone being separate. And from the look of your vids, it makes sense now. No one likes you here on a peaceful vid. go away to your hate place. leave us alone.
@palmbebe86 -- Race is good. Be like the Jews. Love your race. Be proud of your people. Give up your White-guilt and self-destructive death wish. It's not good for you.
@SacredWord The difference is, is i im very proud of EVERYONES RACE!!! I LOVE EVERYONE!!! My people? Who the fuk are my people? EVERYONE IS MY PEOPLE!!! Even u, as much as it kill s me. WE R ALL HUMAN BORN OF DIFFERENT SETTINGS. in the end thats all we all r is human. Ur really dumb. and like i said, no one wants u here, go bible thump on a doorstep, but stay away from MY PEOPLE OF THE WORLD who r loving peacful people.
But what about your own people? You "love everyone"? That means you love nobody. When you become a mother will you "feed everybody's children" rather than attending to your own? "Serve everybody" as much as your husband and family? "Loving everybody the same" is impossible, unworkable, thus false. Whites are down to 8 percent of world population, with White women of child-bearing years only 2 percent, being genocided. Such love for others is false; but disloyalty and race traitorship are real.
@palmbebe86 -- No, I've never been an advocate of slavery. If you are concerned about slavery, why don't you go fight it where it still exists: In Africa and Israel.
@SacredWord Your spreading hate on this vid. Y should i conform to ur hatred way of being? SSSSOOOOOO brainwashed. keep your slavery, hatred, away from GOOD people. You have a problem with peace. thats all anyone here can c. U made yourself look really bad.
@SacredWord Another note to you saying everyone would be bored. - Ok, Im bored today I think I will go stone and burn Christians for no good reason, just because I dont believe in their ways of doing things. I will go enslave them and treat them as the hipocritical evil snobs because they r not equal to me and my beliefs. YOu sound like hitler. You probly love him. Do you own slaves? your about to become mine. YOu should be in jail for acting like satan and hitler. have fun in hell.
"Everywhere the signs multiply that the earths peoples yearn for an end to conflict and to the suffering and ruin from which no land is...immune"....The light of men, Baháulláh says, is Justice. fromThe Prosperity of Humankind
This was nice, short and sweet. "There shall be One Fold and One Shepherd" Baha'is are people of all past religions, all races and nationalities. We are not waiting for a prophecy which has already been fulfilled. It is now. This Day of God. Well done, friend
Getting a bunch of people in a room (or anywhere) of mixed races, colors, body types, etc. does nothing to solve the world's real problems. It does not change the problem of duality. It doesn't destroy the problem of man's separation from God. Doesn't turn men good. Doesn't thin or attenuate the ego, the moving monkey-mind (man's veil to God). This desire (to mix a bunch of types together in a room) is just a form of worldly lust, that is all. And the mixed up Baha'is themselves still fight.
@SacredWord This has not been my experience in the 31 years as a Baha'i. It has been extremely positive, and, while human beings are all subject to such limitations as we have, the effect of unity of races, economic classes, nationality is no less than the embodyment of the ideals expressed in all the Sacred Books. It is challenging to overcome prejudices based upon ignorance, racism, classism. I invite you to take a closer look, get to know some Baha'is, and read more deeply.
"Prejudices," "racism," "classism." Classic Baha'i blizzard of buzzwords, memes, and slogans. Most of what you call "prejudice" is post-judice: Judgement based on experience. I have lots of experience w/Baha'is. They have a shallow, invented religion. Actually a marketing program for Marxism that poses as religion--and disconnected from their texts. Do you want to eliminate classes now? Baha'u'llah didn't. That's Marxism. "Racism" and "classism" are both Marxist words. Racial identity is good.
@SacredWord we're on the same page and I wonder...how can my parents be anti-communist and baha'i at the same time?!? What are they in truth, in the end? I don't understand them. I hope they're just naive and shallow, and not really marxist while posing far right. But probably just naive and didn't figure out how marxist the baha'i package is
@fsmtdaler with all respect, maybe you should take a closer look too. I am happy you had a good experience, but it is relative to you and not the entire truth. The baha'i faith is composed by fallible men and women, and everything's fine until everything's fine. In times of stress, the real nature of people makes itself more clear. There are many good people among the baha'is, yet many others are hypocrits.
@duckotaco The human race is composed of fallible men and women, of whatever religion, denomination, etc. The Baha'i Faith provides a vision relevant to this age, where humanity crosses paths from every continent, race, religion. Humanity needs guidance from Divine Educators, like sheep need a shepherd.
"There shall be One Fold, and One Shepherd" Bible
"I saw forming One Sacred Hoop of all nations." Black Elk
We live in the time of fulfillment of all the ancient ways as foretold
@fsmtdaler Knowing it well enough, I do not believe the baha'i faith is an answer of any kind and I do hope the people of the future will not be bahais, but simply enlightened without a need to call themselves member of the potato or cabbage party.
But this is an opinion. An opinon matured after believing exactly what you believe, and deeming it right and beautiful. Then I got an arrow to the knee.
May we all be free to think individually. I dont think bahai faith encourages that
@duckotaco Duck, respectfully, I think you're carrying your baggage, issues, sour apples, etc with you and it has obscured your vision. Maybe the problem is with you... for as Jesus said shortly before taken off to His crucifixion: "Beholdest thou not the Son of Man seated on the right hand of power and glory?" No. They beheld what they beheld, in the wilderness of their own delusions, conceit, and bigotry. "Eyes they have, but see not. Ears they have, but hear not."
@fsmtdaler forget that. It's my problem, and you too are doing the same mistake. You don't have elements here to judge me and really say that I am "obscured". You can think it, and you can be wrong about it. I am not judging you, that would be stupid. Are you a Sioux?
@fsmtdaler Gandhi acted out of "sour apples": if he wasn't disrespected in his ego in south africa because he was indian, and if he was not an indian, he would have not fought for the independence of India...therefore it is correct to say he acted for PERSONAL motives as well. Personal motives are very important. The baha'i/religious stress on abandonment of personal motives is too simplicistic and guarantees that you won't become Gandhi, a man who follows ALSO his PERSONALITY.
@duckotaco I am assuming, obviously, that Gandhi wasn't a fuckin' retard, but he did good, and that his fight for indian independence was what he had to do. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong...
There are two kinds of people...those who never doubt their ideas and those who do...the first are mostly wrong everytime they speak, the second are mostly right when they express their ideas with NO certainty that they are right. If you don't see it this way you're the first type of people
@duckotaco Well, I have no doubt whatsoever that Ghandi, like so very many others, were animated by the Spirit of the Age. We each express in our own ways Its effect. Baha'u'llah Himself said: "I was but a man like others, asleep upon My couch, when Lo, the Breezes of the Almighty were wafted over Me... This thing is not from Me, but from One Who is All Knowing, All Wise. Can a leaf be still when the tempestuous winds are blowing? It moveth as it listeth..."
@fsmtdaler@fsmtdaler stop trying to convert people. You're not going to convert me and I'm not here to convince you either. Were just exchanging DIFFERENT views, and DIFFERENT THEY WILL FOREVER REMAIN. Unity of THOUGHT is stupid. We must be DIFFERENT.
I skipped baha'ullah passages because they give me nothing. I have heard them many times. They are empty to me. Even more empty when you quote them obsessively.
Fuck that, Im back to my individualism. No religious person is selfless.
@duckotaco Not trying to convert you. Have no desire in that. Just find myself drawn at times to give air to my thoughts thru this medium. The ocean has no need of drops like you and me. We are free to evaporate. No one will miss either one of us. It is only when the drop embodies the essence of the Most Great Ocean that it attains to any station worthy of mention, and that is the station of sacrifice. Peace
@fsmtdaler good. Do it on your personal diary. Don't vomit your consciousness and personal thought on others. That is not respectful, and is invadent to their personal space. The bahai faith apparently doesn't give you this basic sense of respect of others. Do to others what you'd do to yourself. Believe me you wouldn't like being talked to with this sense of "I've gotten it right and you didn't" like you are doing to me.
@fsmtdaler yes, people will not miss you, but they miss Michael Jackson and Gandhi. SOME PEOPLE ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS: WE ARE NOT EQUAL. OUR INTELLIGENCE AND WILL DISTINGUISHES US AND MAKES US SUPERIOR OR INFERIOR TO ANOTHER. We're not two fuckin identical drops. We are different. One of us is better. More intelligent. More tasteful. This is how we're different. You cannot fuckin make a scale of "spiritual station". You can make an INTELLIGENCE or SOCIAL IMPACT scale. Spiritual station only God
@fsmtdaler we seem to be projected towards a one world governement, and to be that means only apocalypse, and not a good thing. It will be the Babilonia, the place of perdition described in the bible. World governement = bad to me. very bad. This is the paradox of the bahai faith. Ugliness marketed as beauty. Again, this is my opinion, and I could be wrong.
@fsmtdaler everything in the bahai faith of today is PLASTIC, and not natural beauty. The baha'i gardens are too "perfect"; that is not real beauty, the beauty of the wilderness as created by God. It shows the obsession of men for control, a rebellion to the laws of dirt and ugliness that must stay in order to contrast with the cleanliness, and create a perfect beauty. Perfect is no perfect. "Perfect" women and men are aesthetically inferior to imperfect ones. Beauty is imperfect.
@duckotaco this is something that cultures with a culture firmly ingrained in the arts and aesthetics take as self-evident; i.e. france. Europe has the supremacy of art and aesthetics, not the US, not the middle east. If you want to build "beautiful" buildings call a european or at least american architect, not a persian one. They know engeenering, not beauty. In a word, they have no taste.
I confess this is not IDEOLOGICALLY important...oh wait, what am I saying...of course it is.
@duckotaco At age 58, after growing up on a Sioux Indian Reservation, in the wilderness of alcoholism, poverty, exploitation, during the Viet Nam Era, materialism, ego-based philosophy, pigheaded self-centeredness, excuse based lifestyles, I will take the beauty, reverence, sophisticated wisdom, broad cultural embrace, and exquisite gardens, etc, of the Shrines of the Faith of Baha'u'llah every day of the week. Work is worship. Its not perfectionism, nor mere idealism. It is the new reality
@duckotaco No. My grandparents homesteaded there in 1895. I was raised on the white side of the tracks, in a warm house, with plenty of food. But we worked hard. Very hard. and I needed an Indian kid to beat the prejudice out of me once to see the other side. I have many Sioux friends who are still Lakota, yet we are one as Baha'is. and we stand on the same sacred soil, in unity, transcending traditional limitations of separated identities of the past. Its hard work, but well worth it
@fsmtdaler To me it wouldn't be hard work. That no race is superior to another is a fact that I take for granted independently from baha'i education or not. It is just being humans. The baha'i faith is correct in the fact that there is one human race, but it's been said before in ancient times by many wise people. To me is granted. I am a mixed race too, and I have zero national pride. This is very baha'i, i am more baha'i than most bahais in facts, who still hold to personal culture
@fsmtdaler the "ego" theme is a complicated one in my book, and there is no space here for me to cover my thoughts on it. I believe there is a pgheaded self-centeredness but also a more proper one. Self centeredness in itself isn't the problem. In facts Krishna would repeat "fixate yourself in the Self" in the Bhagavad Gita, and that is THE wisdom. See, it's not that easy as saying "being self centered is bad". It is good! It depends HOW and WHY you are self centered.
@duckotaco I was in the Denver Ashram when word of the passing of Prabuppad came. in '78, I believe. His work, As It Is, was excellent. Exemplary. It taught me that Krsna and Christ were one and the same. "In every age, I Myself come forth..." Likewise, "I am not the first Buddha to come into the world, nor the last..." He, too, I accepted, along with Muhammad, before becoming follower of Baha'u'llah, in 1980. There have been many tests. The lower self desires center stage
@fsmtdaler it is not easy to distinguish lower from higher self and you surely cannot know for sure if a person is following the higher or lower. PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW THEIR HIGHER SELF ARE constantly thought to be following the lower itself. Therefore the moment you judge me you fall wrong and no Jesus or Buddha would excuse such an act. You are wrong in guessing my spiritual station, period. You do not know and never will know where I stand especially if I'm superior.
@fsmtdaler the spiritual reality is not JUDGABLE from the outside or two words on youtube. This is a mistake I've seen many bahais and religious people doing. ACCEPTING BAHAULLAH IS NOT NECESSARELY A SIGN OF HIGHER WISDOM, and whoever think so is ignorant in this matter. Gandhi was much superior to you, even if he didn't accept Baha'u'llah. Agree or not?
@duckotaco Quite clearly, Ghandiji, Mother Theresa, Dr King, Sitting Bull, Mandella, are far, far beyond the state of ordinary men. Yet all of them, as great ones in the past, are affected by the Primal Will, in Whoever It was expressed at whatever time. It is the same One, manifest from age to age, in human form. In His presence, the presence of God is felt. Turning towards Him, is turning towards God. Turning away from Him, is turning away from God, Allah, Brahmin, Wakan Tanka...
@fsmtdaler blabla blablabla. Stop taking yourself and life so seriously. You're not serious and you don't own the truth, period. Leave others free and stop trying to convince them of anything. Fuckin' bahais. They make themselves look bad with their hipocrisy and arrogance.
@fsmtdaler the ordinary man is superior to YOU, this is the teaching of abdul baha. You're not humble, you come with a sense of pretentious superiority and thinking you're gotten it figured out. I do not believe you are superior to a LEAF of this world. Make me go to the leaf, the leaf is my teacher and I do not see you as a teacher. Got it? And keep your quotes for yourself if you like them so much. I don't.
@SacredWord you have very well enunciated the problem with the concept of "unity of mankind". It sounds so nice, yet it is not really. I'm an ex bahai too.
I'd rather be many. "One" is boring, the mind rebels against it. The mind creates diversity because the Creator (God) does. Better the world keep its many peoples & nations. That makes a more interesting and beautiful world. You can't "fuse with everybody." People need both distance & closeness, and PARTICULAR friends and family, not "everybody." Better to be in harmony with your own family and natural people (ethnic group) than a theoretical (unreal) "harmony" with "everybody." Love your own.
The Jews are still waiting for Jesus to come for the first time. They used their interpretation of their scriptures to justify rejecting Him. The same pattern is repeating itself with the Christians and the Muslims. I came from both Christian and Muslim religions (I still have a personal relationship with Jesus that can't be taken from me), and I found the signs in the Gospel and the Koran that describe Baha'u'llah as the promised one of this age. I chose the Prince of Peace.

A One World Government (aka The New World Order) has always been the plan of freemasons and Zionists. This basically means a one world government, a one world economy, a one world bank, a one world currency, a one world religion, a one world military, a one world court system... all under the control of Zionist Jews. The capitol of this world government will be Israel. To hell with this evil system of SATAN... This means enslavement for all humanity for ever
Well it's not that far away ( peace), imagine telling someone in 1900 that all the Europe will become one union. in that time it was absolutely impossible to believe it, but look at Europe right now.Bahai's believe that peace is possible ( without war) and they try to tell others that it's time for the humanity to get rid of war once and forever.
Bahai's not only believe in peace but also have the instructions for how to achieve it.
Great video, guys! However, though I'm not a native speaker, I see the mistake in this Baha'u'llah's quotation, and this is inpermissible :) It should be: "and mankind ITS citizen" (not it's = it is).
Very nice video. I've seen people who had nightmares of "one world government." Jeeeeez!!!!! This video shows what the alternative is. It's unthinkable, except it is what we have now, a divided world. Get over it people! Let's unite!
one world government?! are you kidding??? and who would run that government?? the majority of the worlds governments can't even run their own countries in peace! we have our differences and live in peace - but we must first learn to live with each other and love our differences. we don't need government to unite - we need to follow our own moral teachings, respect others, and reform capitalism to include all that it currently excludes. 1 world govt is nice, but whose would it be?? HUMANITY FIRST
Hey contact your local Baha'is and ask them to explain the way Baha'i institutions work. It's kind of a lot to explain in a youtube comment. Anwyays it may change your perception of a one world order.
"The utterance of God is a lamp, whose light is these words: Ye are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch. Deal ye one with another with the utmost love and harmony, with friendliness and fellowship. He Who is the Daystar of Truth beareth Me witness! So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth. The One true God, He Who knoweth all things, Himself testifieth to the truth of these words."

@duckotaco You are projecting your sense of insecurity onto me. I am not superior to anyone. That is what threatens you.

Yes, I could observe silence, but regard it as more seemly to refute your tone and foul language, which is beneath the dignity of anyone who claims sincere and objective thoughts. Some are otherwise...
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler I sort of agree with this one. You sure don't define who is wise and who is not. And it's a contradiction with what you said before about superiority.

But as you mentioned there seems to be wisdom in the writings of bahaullah himself, but the organization as it is today is far away from those or anything spiritual atall
duckotaco 1 month ago
@BookOfFlaws the baha'i faith is at this point a "happy island" where one can find a community of almost brain-dead people for the most part who smile and sing together, pretty much like any other group or religion.
I used to be in that island and I do miss it. Unfortunately, that island is an illusion and has little to do with the real world. The bahai faith is a parallel universe completely separated from the rest of the world. It is not, at present, a relevant piece of reality

Was there a specific tipping point that made you turn away from the Baha'i faith?
deandobbert 3 months ago
@deandobbert -- My big tipping point for leaving the B. Faith -- after giving it years of service -- was discovering that the Kitab-i-Aqdas actually HAD been translated, long ago, by Arabic scholars though the "institutions" and people like "auxiliary board members" constantly said "It's not been translated yet." Then when I found a copy and saw it, I understood why: It was too different from the progressivist "marketing package" that had grown up to replace the original authentic religion.

Everyone is already separate. Are your arms melded with everybody else's arms? I'll bet you're not even close or "in unity" with your own mother and family. You can't be fused with all bodies. A few friends is enough. Your "one world" ball of jello is a dumb idea, plus wouldn't make you happy. Love your people. Love somebody. You can't merge with everybody. Be connected to who's appropriate. That's what God wanted. It's natural.

I never said anything "horrible" here. Quote them, please. I think you have me mixed up with somebody else. You seem to be barking at trees. "Eats poop?" Why do you keep saying horrible things? Islam, historically, was a very positive force...see the Rennisance for example which couldn't have happened without it. (They had the first public hospitals, universities, and were the pinniacle of science at the time.) The Catholic church, at the same time, was going through the Inquisition...not a very positive time at all for them. Think of it this way...in many ways Islam is currently going through Christianity's "Dark Ages." That was not, and will not, allways be so.

Thanks for the kind thoughts on your experiences with Baha'is. None of us are perfect, but it is true that the Baha'i faith places a much stronger emphasis on action rather than words, and so "living the life" is what it's all about.
deandobbert 1 year ago
@deandobbert -- However, Baha'is focus on external action and focus on the external world. Never has their been a religion that was that externalized and material. In reality, the Hidden Word that says "Look within thyself" is the most important Baha'i teaching, containing oceans of challenge and discovery. But Baha'is are the least interested in it. Because this is a spiritual teaching, and Baha'is would rather look outside to the external than inside for God.

Yeah, nothing's equal. One cigar's not as good as another; one violinist is not as good as another; and the Hawaiians are not as good at technology is the Germans. But why do you want to enslave people because of that? If you are worried about slavery, look into Israel, where your headquarters is. It's the center of White slavery (kidnapped White girls).

fsmtdaler 2 years ago 8
Getting a bunch of people in a room (or anywhere) of mixed races, colors, body types, etc. does nothing to solve the world's real problems. It does not change the problem of duality. It doesn't destroy the problem of man's separation from God. Doesn't turn men good. Doesn't thin or attenuate the ego, the moving monkey-mind (man's veil to God). This desire (to mix a bunch of types together in a room) is just a form of worldly lust, that is all. And the mixed up Baha'is themselves still fight.
SacredWord 3 months ago
@SacredWord This has not been my experience in the 31 years as a Baha'i. It has been extremely positive, and, while human beings are all subject to such limitations as we have, the effect of unity of races, economic classes, nationality is no less than the embodyment of the ideals expressed in all the Sacred Books. It is challenging to overcome prejudices based upon ignorance, racism, classism. I invite you to take a closer look, get to know some Baha'is, and read more deeply.
fsmtdaler 3 months ago
"Prejudices," "racism," "classism." Classic Baha'i blizzard of buzzwords, memes, and slogans. Most of what you call "prejudice" is post-judice: Judgement based on experience. I have lots of experience w/Baha'is. They have a shallow, invented religion. Actually a marketing program for Marxism that poses as religion--and disconnected from their texts. Do you want to eliminate classes now? Baha'u'llah didn't. That's Marxism. "Racism" and "classism" are both Marxist words. Racial identity is good.
SacredWord 3 months ago
@SacredWord I invite you to read the Kitab-i-Iqan (The Book of Certitude), by Baha'u'llah. It isn't shallow

I hope they're just naive and shallow, and not really marxist while posing far right. But probably just naive and didn't figure out how marxist the baha'i package is
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler with all respect, maybe you should take a closer look too. I am happy you had a good experience, but it is relative to you and not the entire truth. The baha'i faith is composed by fallible men and women, and everything's fine until everything's fine. In times of stress, the real nature of people makes itself more clear. There are many good people among the baha'is, yet many others are hypocrits.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco The human race is composed of fallible men and women, of whatever religion, denomination, etc. The Baha'i Faith provides a vision relevant to this age, where humanity crosses paths from every continent, race, religion. Humanity needs guidance from Divine Educators, like sheep need a shepherd.

I dont think bahai faith encourages that
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco Duck, respectfully, I think you're carrying your baggage, issues, sour apples, etc with you and it has obscured your vision. Maybe the problem is with you... for as Jesus said shortly before taken off to His crucifixion: "Beholdest thou not the Son of Man seated on the right hand of power and glory?" No. They beheld what they beheld, in the wilderness of their own delusions, conceit, and bigotry. "Eyes they have, but see not. Ears they have, but hear not."
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler forget that. It's my problem, and you too are doing the same mistake. You don't have elements here to judge me and really say that I am "obscured". You can think it, and you can be wrong about it. I am not judging you, that would be stupid. Are you a Sioux?
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler Gandhi acted out of "sour apples": if he wasn't disrespected in his ego in south africa because he was indian, and if he was not an indian, he would have not fought for the independence of India...therefore it is correct to say he acted for PERSONAL motives as well. Personal motives are very important. The baha'i/religious stress on abandonment of personal motives is too simplicistic and guarantees that you won't become Gandhi, a man who follows ALSO his PERSONALITY.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco I am assuming, obviously, that Gandhi wasn't a fuckin' retard, but he did good, and that his fight for indian independence was what he had to do. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong...
There are two kinds of people...those who never doubt their ideas and those who do...the first are mostly wrong everytime they speak, the second are mostly right when they express their ideas with NO certainty that they are right. If you don't see it this way you're the first type of people
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco Well, I have no doubt whatsoever that Ghandi, like so very many others, were animated by the Spirit of the Age. We each express in our own ways Its effect. Baha'u'llah Himself said: "I was but a man like others, asleep upon My couch, when Lo, the Breezes of the Almighty were wafted over Me... This thing is not from Me, but from One Who is All Knowing, All Wise. Can a leaf be still when the tempestuous winds are blowing? It moveth as it listeth..."
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler @fsmtdaler stop trying to convert people.
No religious person is selfless.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco Not trying to convert you. Have no desire in that. Just find myself drawn at times to give air to my thoughts thru this medium. The ocean has no need of drops like you and me. We are free to evaporate. No one will miss either one of us. It is only when the drop embodies the essence of the Most Great Ocean that it attains to any station worthy of mention, and that is the station of sacrifice. Peace
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler good. Do it on your personal diary. Don't vomit your consciousness and personal thought on others. That is not respectful, and is invadent to their personal space. The bahai faith apparently doesn't give you this basic sense of respect of others. Do to others what you'd do to yourself. Believe me you wouldn't like being talked to with this sense of "I've gotten it right and you didn't" like you are doing to me.
duckotaco 1 month ago
Spiritual station only God
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler we seem to be projected towards a one world governement, and to be that means only apocalypse, and not a good thing. It will be the Babilonia, the place of perdition described in the bible. World governement = bad to me. very bad. This is the paradox of the bahai faith. Ugliness marketed as beauty. Again, this is my opinion, and I could be wrong.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler everything in the bahai faith of today is PLASTIC, and not natural beauty. The baha'i gardens are too "perfect"; that is not real beauty, the beauty of the wilderness as created by God. It shows the obsession of men for control, a rebellion to the laws of dirt and ugliness that must stay in order to contrast with the cleanliness, and create a perfect beauty. Perfect is no perfect. "Perfect" women and men are aesthetically inferior to imperfect ones. Beauty is imperfect.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco this is something that cultures with a culture firmly ingrained in the arts and aesthetics take as self-evident; i.e. france. Europe has the supremacy of art and aesthetics, not the US, not the middle east. If you want to build "beautiful" buildings call a european or at least american architect, not a persian one. They know engeenering, not beauty. In a word, they have no taste.
I confess this is not IDEOLOGICALLY important...oh wait, what am I saying...of course it is.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco At age 58, after growing up on a Sioux Indian Reservation, in the wilderness of alcoholism, poverty, exploitation, during the Viet Nam Era, materialism, ego-based philosophy, pigheaded self-centeredness, excuse based lifestyles, I will take the beauty, reverence, sophisticated wisdom, broad cultural embrace, and exquisite gardens, etc, of the Shrines of the Faith of Baha'u'llah every day of the week. Work is worship. Its not perfectionism, nor mere idealism. It is the new reality
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler I do appreciate this comment. Are you a Sioux yourself?
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco No. My grandparents homesteaded there in 1895. I was raised on the white side of the tracks, in a warm house, with plenty of food. But we worked hard. Very hard. and I needed an Indian kid to beat the prejudice out of me once to see the other side. I have many Sioux friends who are still Lakota, yet we are one as Baha'is. and we stand on the same sacred soil, in unity, transcending traditional limitations of separated identities of the past. Its hard work, but well worth it
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler To me it wouldn't be hard work. That no race is superior to another is a fact that I take for granted independently from baha'i education or not. It is just being humans. The baha'i faith is correct in the fact that there is one human race, but it's been said before in ancient times by many wise people. To me is granted. I am a mixed race too, and I have zero national pride. This is very baha'i, i am more baha'i than most bahais in facts, who still hold to personal culture
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler the "ego" theme is a complicated one in my book, and there is no space here for me to cover my thoughts on it. I believe there is a pgheaded self-centeredness but also a more proper one. Self centeredness in itself isn't the problem. In facts Krishna would repeat "fixate yourself in the Self" in the Bhagavad Gita, and that is THE wisdom. See, it's not that easy as saying "being self centered is bad". It is good! It depends HOW and WHY you are self centered.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco I was in the Denver Ashram when word of the passing of Prabuppad came. in '78, I believe. His work, As It Is, was excellent. Exemplary. It taught me that Krsna and Christ were one and the same. "In every age, I Myself come forth..." Likewise, "I am not the first Buddha to come into the world, nor the last..." He, too, I accepted, along with Muhammad, before becoming follower of Baha'u'llah, in 1980. There have been many tests. The lower self desires center stage
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler it is not easy to distinguish lower from higher self and you surely cannot know for sure if a person is following the higher or lower. PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW THEIR HIGHER SELF ARE constantly thought to be following the lower itself. Therefore the moment you judge me you fall wrong and no Jesus or Buddha would excuse such an act. You are wrong in guessing my spiritual station, period. You do not know and never will know where I stand especially if I'm superior.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler the spiritual reality is not JUDGABLE from the outside or two words on youtube. This is a mistake I've seen many bahais and religious people doing. ACCEPTING BAHAULLAH IS NOT NECESSARELY A SIGN OF HIGHER WISDOM, and whoever think so is ignorant in this matter. Gandhi was much superior to you, even if he didn't accept Baha'u'llah. Agree or not?
duckotaco 1 month ago
@duckotaco Quite clearly, Ghandiji, Mother Theresa, Dr King, Sitting Bull, Mandella, are far, far beyond the state of ordinary men. Yet all of them, as great ones in the past, are affected by the Primal Will, in Whoever It was expressed at whatever time. It is the same One, manifest from age to age, in human form. In His presence, the presence of God is felt. Turning towards Him, is turning towards God. Turning away from Him, is turning away from God, Allah, Brahmin, Wakan Tanka...
fsmtdaler 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler blabla blablabla. Stop taking yourself and life so seriously. You're not serious and you don't own the truth, period. Leave others free and stop trying to convince them of anything. Fuckin' bahais. They make themselves look bad with their hipocrisy and arrogance.
duckotaco 1 month ago
@fsmtdaler the ordinary man is superior to YOU, this is the teaching of abdul baha. You're not humble, you come with a sense of pretentious superiority and thinking you're gotten it figured out.

Bahai's not only believe in peace but also have the instructions for how to achieve it.

right! Its like an umbrella government, sort of like the united nations!
And everyone in a country would agree apon a person from that country to go consult with the umbrella government!

I like the Bahai faith but the scriptures do not in any way speak to me or resonate with me. That is where they lose me.

Try these out for size:
"The utterance of God is a lamp, whose light is these words: Ye are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch. Deal ye one with another with the utmost love and harmony, with friendliness and fellowship. He Who is the Daystar of Truth beareth Me witness! So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth. The One true God, He Who knoweth all things, Himself testifieth to the truth of these words."
