  • ya its funny cause after this dwan did go broke he lost almost 7 million to isildur and signed with fulltilt haha so hellmuth was right.

  • @fliptthescript 7 million and he is broke? you have any idea how much he is worth? to give you a perspective on things he charges 7K per hour for a lesson.

  • @dozentcare How do you know? (His site)

  • @MrJonnyboy36 lol i know him personally

  • @dozentcare Cool, but i didn't ask that. What is his site though?

  • @MrJonnyboy36 He wouldn't go through a site. He has said various times that he doesn't do public coaching. He has made way more than the 7m he lost to isildur though, i have no doubt he has made more than 20-50m through his career.

  • @OwnageEngine He is the best soo yeaahh :P For a while i just thought he was a lucky kid. But he never has a hand :D

  • It seemed like a really awkward moment when Phil mentioned going broke through drinking and drugs. The most obvious example of that is Stu Ungar, who did a lot of coke and went broke a few times mainly through bad runs at horse races. Despite similar styles of play, Dwan seems like a much more stable personality than Stuey. I haven't seen any evidence to show him being an out of control drug user.

  • hellmuth not lying him doyle and all of them used to play like that. if you watch dwans last sessions on tv he has slowed down and is not playng as many hands. He is also down 4 million over the last 2 years. he hasn't been a winning player in a long time. So now hes playing tighter.

  • lolololololololololol phil olololololololololol u just have no clue dwan knows so much more about poker than him i used 2 play that gear lol like a donk prolly its just redic

  • @kingjtjt Phil was actually regarded as a very aggressive player back in the late 80s through mid 90s. It definitely wasn't the same gear, though. He was in an era when a lot of players wouldn't play back very often and didn't have the nuanced understanding of the mathematics of poker to exploit his leaks. It's like an NFL passing offense of the 1970s comparing itself to the Packers or Patriots of today.

  • seems like tom does drugs lol.
