The left to right is smoother than the right to left but I don't know how you get them smooth...and he can be animated at time also...especially if he's a little up. Do you lunge her before you show...that might help.
yah i do. she is actually quieter at shows than at home. im trying to sell her and everyone has come to see her at home and she does her little animated hop and they sit there and go "hmmmm". oh, and it doesn't matter if she is hyper or not, its just her. lol. thanks for writing back!! very nice horse you have there!!
typically when horses have really expresive changes you are probably using too much leg and if you cant get a change without using a lot of leg then your horse isn't ready for changes.
I wanted to say thank you for your input. His changes have gotten much smoother over the last 5 months. If you get a chance there is a small article in last weeks Chronicle (A Blue Goodbye For Belle ). Bering C ( aka Kingsley to us ) was champion in the Green Working at the National Horse Show in Syracuse, NY . We hope to have the videos of those rounds, and the ones of our daughter in the Older Lg. Jr's uploaded soon. Again, thank you for your comments.
