@xenobiahighlander: What do you mean? This is an oriental(!) track. The title contents two oriental (arabic) words (harem, sultan). Any other questions? - ** TIAD **
@IsmailaGodHasHeard1 I'm sorry Ismalia, but you are mistaken, this is not a fusion piece. Read simsim556's reply---it's an Egyptian piece with Turkish musicians, but just because the musicians are Turkish does not automatically mean the piece is fusion.
@farashahanem: I think, the sytle(!) can be called "fusion". No matter where the musicians are from or where the basic melody is originated from. It has this interesting style because Harem made this interpretation. So this version IS their credit. And accidentally Harem is Turkish. Regards. - ** T IAD **
arabic music, AbdulHalim Hafez song ala ad il sho in 1972 but played here by turkish musicians and they mix it with some indian music which is bullshit. Arabs they make the best melodies in the world
this song belongs to abdul halim hafez :P its called 3ala ad il sho2 !!!! thats the chorus of the song !!!!! turks just re arranged it .... great job though ...
@karinitaDD The credit 4 my answer belongs to a reson called "TIAD" as I have copied & pasted TIAD' comment : A masterpiece of percussion music from the Album "Harem II Time Of Rhythm". Listen & Enjoy it. HTH
@TheFraigo Yes you are correct !but I think this is a remix, as I used to dance to the original piece in the early 80s & the original in parts had an almost flamingo quality to it, of course that could because it was on cassette &/or the sound system, I New I had heard itB4 but only identified it due 2 your comment. In any advent I love both! So a very sincere thank you. Any more info on the original would be gratefully received.
SUPER!

The music is performed by a Turkish percussion group. But it is Arabic music, yes. Middle Eastern music had great influence on Turkish music.
