  • OH YEAH! DUFF MAN!! ENJOYS CATS DONT DANCE!!! OH YEAH!!!

  • I watched this a zillion times as a kiddie. this and watchstoppers or whatever that one was.

  • I'm almost 22, and the first time I've watched this movie was only 2 weeks and I really liked it. That's a good sign for the movie.

  • You seem to be a very underrated reviewer. Very constructive and appealing you explain the movie - and I love your intro. Oh, and thumbs up if you think Darla Dimple is the best fictional female villain ever! :D

  • that and Ebert liked the movie while Siskel didn't

  • last I checked Randy Newman only wrote the songs while Steve Goldstein did the score

  • Danny's optimism and naivety made this one of my favorites. I thought his bright outlook was exactly what the plot needed. It's not as if he never changed. He fell flat on his face, got taken advantage of, doubted himself, but came back smarter and more determined. I also enjoyed Sawyer as a jaded, ex-dreamer with a faint glimmer of hope in her eyes. I loved how it portrayed how much she wanted to believe in Danny, but had been hurt one too many times. This movie really inspired me as a kid.

  • aaaaaaaaaaand how did space jam suck?

  • F.Y.I. for those who don't want to watch "Cat's Don't Dance" without clicking the next part on the internet. The movie is up for streaming for those who have netflix. ;D

  • yes i did... and i do that with most movies cuz im technical like that

  • Best movie I've ever seen. Seriously, half of my childhood.

I disagree with the flatness of sawyer and danny. I felt Danny's naivety to be essential to the overall plot. Not to mention his quickly-gathered obsession with bringing out Sawyer's lost performer to give the story some drive. While darla /is/ the strongest character in the movie, Danny and Sawyer are definately not the weakest.(coughtillycoughcranston)

  • @KayariOzoshi i agree with u completley :) a lot of people think that danny's naivety was a flaw to the character, the same with sawyer, but it was actually there for the plot

  • SPACEJAM SUCKS?

  • @mrArtystik It was okay, but did you honestly say after watching it. "Hey! I want to watch that again!"

    Probably not...

  • Im a furre fan and proud of it. Man this movie was classic! Screw those other movies that came out at the time he listed.

  • your review is the best I've found for this film!

loved to see an Osmosis Jones

  • I'm a furry fan. *waves*

  • WOW.

    It's FANTASTIC film!!!

    Congratulations :)

  • I agree with you 100%

  • when u did the light bulb it looked like u had a really shit idea

  • Lolz, I liked the Godzilla SFX.

CDD truly didn't get enough love in its time then it should've.

  • Great review! I loved this movie when I was younger. It was nice hearing my thoughts on it reinforced, so thank you! I'd like to see you dig even deeper into the movies you review. I didn't want this one to end! Keep 'em coming!

  • This was a really great review- my only qualms are with the audio needing some tweaking, and the length of the video not being long enough, I want more! :)

One more thing, perhaps show some more examples (scenes) of the other characters' strengths and weaknesses.

    Looking forward to more, 5/5.

  • You need to normalize the audio between cuts so one scene isn't ten times louder than the next. Other than that, good job! Looking forward to more.

  • SFX used over animated sections was distracting. Other than that, the review was polished and informative. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

  • You didn't mention the animated King and I under stinkers.

  • I think I know someone who's joining the Thatguywiththeglasses team, and it's mouseboythirdclass

  • The Hollywood sign, in the 1930s, read : "HOLLYWOODLAND"

  • A strong first episode, gratz.

Your intro was creative and i even laughed a few times. Your voice reminds me of Film Brain, which other then length, your video comes pretty close to in awesomeness.

  • "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" is a misunderstood gem, but that's for another day.

A decent start, you come off are pretty educated, but I got some nitpicks, which I shall share with you now:

-Try and get your voice on the camera to match closer to the narration over the film clips. It's pretty jarring when you switch between them.

-Could you not get sound from the film? I'd have really liked an example to soundtrack you praised.

I'll be keeping my eye on you.
