@worldcruiser12 Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth are cruise ships with more steel to handle the oceans better than any cruise ships even RCCL's ships. Queen Mary 2, on the other hand is designed to make journeys across the atlantic, she has a water breaker, 40% more steel (in the hull this means her hull is thicker) than any other cruise ships, she is faster, she is more powerful, and she offers different amenities than a cruise ship. Ocean Liners are different.
@TheTraveltube No THEY"RE (notice you used the wrong one) not. THEY"RE cruise ships because they weren't designed to cross the Atlantic. The only one actually designed to cross the Atlantic is the RMS Queen Mary 2.
yes but i was on her Maiden Voyage in Dec 2007. Also the Maiden Voyage fo the Queen Mary 2 April 2004. Final transatlantic of the QE2 Oct 2008 and im Booked on the Maiden Voyage of the new Queen Elizabeth for October 2010. :)
Queen Victoria based on the Holland America Line Vista class. She's actually the 6th vessel in that class. 4 Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Noordam fore Holland America, Arcadia fore P&O and Queen Victoria Cunard. there will be a sister ship called Queen Elizabeth. Cunard called theme Ocean Liners they are not. They are cruise ships.
Queen Victoria is one awesome ship
