  • 10 November 1775

I was born in a bomb crater,

My mother was an M16 and my father was the Devil

Each moment that I live is an additional plight upon your life

I eat concertina, piss napalm and I could shoot a round through a flea's ass at 300 meters

  • I travel the Globe,

Festering on anti-Americans everywhere I go, for the love of mom, Chevrolet, baseball, and apple pie.

    I'm a grunt.

I'm the dirty, nasty, stinky, sweaty, filthy, beautiful little son of a bitch that's kept the wolf away from the door; for over 225 years.

    I'm a United States Marine.

  • We look like soldiers, talk like sailors, slap the shit out of both of 'em

We stole the eagle from the Air Force, the rope from the Army, and the anchor from the Navy

And on the seventh day, when God rested,

We overran his perimeter, and we've been running the show ever since.

Warrior by day, lover by night, drunkard by choice, Marine by God.

    Semper Fidelis

  • I'm Army 11B and I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS, I love Gen Kill

  • oooorah! 0311! love the last part "you got the right to say what you want. we got the right to punch you in the fucking mouth when we disagree" semper!

  • Oorah

The grunts are the balls of the marine corp

everyone else is just jock straps

  • @phasesh1ft

I'm actually in the process of signing right now. Almost a poolee. I've got a couple friends over there right now though. Hopefully i'll get to go too. I'm not gunna be infantry though. I wanna do something where i can use my head but not be put behind a desk. So i'm thinking combat linguist. I dunno yet though.

  • @Tr3v3336 You honestly think being a grunt does not require the use of your head? Granted, they can't teach you common sense, which was illustrated by your ignorant statement, but you would be amazed at what you will be able/required to do. I understand the Corps needs all MOS's but, as you will learn in Boot Camp, think before you start spewing trash out of your gutter. Good luck to you if you decide to go in, best time of my life.

  • @Tr3v3336 perhaps you can explain to me what MOS number a "combat" linguist is.

  • whoever asked, the mos for a grunt machine gunner is 0331

  • Best line: "Thanks for preserving our right to go on not giving a fuck" - because it is painfully true.

  • @Jasmiiniriisi no actually it's not, though I will support our arms forces to death of it all, this is nothing more than a justification for their dead brothers, and they deserve that right, however NOTHING they have done in Iraq or Afghanistan did anything to protect our right to not give a fuck, they died for politics, they died for orders, they did NOT however die for country, saying otherwise is just fooling yourself, that is the painful truth

  • Motivated

  • the marines deserve your respect...

  • I was wavering on the choice to join the marines or not. Then i watched Generation Kill. Im not wavering anymore. Signing up in june, cant wait to get my Sweet16 and go fuck some shit up. Even if this war will not be viewed in a good way 20 years from now, edleast it will be remembered. And i will be able to say i was a part of it. when everyone else will say " i watched it on tv". Cant wait! OOORAH,

  • @Tr3v3336 You aren't a part of anything. The wars over child. You said you're enlisting in June so you've probably swore in already, in which case you're now a Poolee. You won't ship for boot anytime soon the Corps is filling up and kids aren't getting ship dates until like May 2011. In which case you probably won't deploy until late 2011 if not 2012. The war is over. Iraq is done, Afghanistan is just about finished. You weren't part of anything. So yes, you did watch it on TV.

  • @TehMasta

Haha ok buddy. You really think were gunna be done in the Middle East by 2011?

No way. Theres always going to be something to do for the marines. Iran is lookin pretty good right about now.

  • @Tr3v3336 It's already pretty much done. You can't say you were part of Ramadi, Fallujah, Baghdad anywhere like that. And you probably won't go to Iran, really? Iran? if you go anywhere it'll probably be Korea.

  • @TehMasta

I never said i would be part of those battles. I just said that doing something in the war will be worth while. And fuck it. Iran or Korea ill take either.

  • @Tr3v3336

Not what I meant, my point was the fight is pretty much over, the war is done. It's nothing like it was.

  • @Tr3v3336, and MEPS is gonna weed you out quick as hell. We don't want trigger happy morons. You tell that NCO "I wanmna go fuck some shit UPPP!!!111!", and he's gonna tell you in no uncertain terms, "Go home." I've seen it happen.

  • @Tr3v3336 You may be surprised at how this war is viewed in 20 years.

  • I joined the Army Reserve in March 7, 2009 so I could continue my bachelor's degree all the way to doctorate. Even though they tried to convince me not to join I did. I hope to finish my degree and go active. Even I'm not a Marine I do feel like the motherfucker who keeps the bubble from bursting.

  • This is the kind of stuff that makes me want join the marines. Fuck those, "be the best you can be" commercials I want it raw like this. Eviscerating Americas enemies wherever they may be.

  • @iamironcap its so true :)

  • Their biggest concern is that, you know, they couldnt buy a mocha latte at fucking Starbucks because it was under construction. Our biggest motherfucking concern is getting blown up on fucking two-niner-five and Michigan. But we're gonna go home and their going to say, wave their little flag and say, Welcome home, thanks for, thanks for preserving our right to go on not giving a fuck."

  • You know what I did Thursday afternoon, I put one of my motherfucking Marines on a plane. I put that motherfucker on a bird to fucking nowhere. I picked his lifeless ass-up body, put him on a stretcher, and put him off. Why dont they put that? Why dont that be in a motherfucking magazine? Or how about lets put a day in the life of fucking any average Marine out here going through the streets of Aradi?

  • its the streets of ramadi not aradi man

And you got the American society wanting to run as fast as they can to the counter shop, to the fucking news stands to grab motherfucking US Weekly and fucking People Magazine just to see what fucking Jake Gyllenhaal did Thursday afternoon.
