Nickelback is some of the most generic, painfully-boring to listen to radio bullshit music I've ever heard. They're the biggest bunch of mainstream-milking corporate tools ever, especially Chad Kroeger... who couldn't make his vocals not sound forced and fake to save his live. Nor could Ryan Peake write an interesting riff in the same scenario.

I never understood why some people hate Nickelback; they're too generic to be worth hating. They're just in the mediocre middle, not especially good or bad.

That being said, some of their songs, like this one, has pretty catchy lyrics. Musically, any one of their songs sounds pretty much like any other.

@Janootz No problem. I actually like most of these songs, and while I recognize the genericness I don't see how it makes them the worst band ever. I really don't understand how Dogmatic and Splync think Miley Cyrus is okay but Nickelback is the worst thing in the world, just seems nonsensically biased.

@nonzz3ro I honestly think a lot of it might have to do with which band got brought in to Rock Band first, especially back-to-back as they were. Miley Cyrus was a barf, while Nickelback was dry heaves. It would have been vice versa if Nickelback was first..
