  • Gelo DEPOIS da bebida? como assim? HAHAHAHAHA. NAO ENTENDE NADA!!!!!

  • TUDO ERRADO! só porque é rico, acha que entende. Pra começar, a boa caipirinha se tira o "miolo" do limão (a parte branca), pois se da uma amargueza nao desejada à bebida.

  • NO WAY,sry but a REALLY GOOD CAIPIRINHA is made with a WHOLE LIME and BROWN SUGAR...

  • I came here because Caipirinha dance ;A;

  • it wasn't absolutely perfect since the title of the video

  • I don't get it. He fills up the big shaker glass to the top, but then it all fits in the smaller glass. go 43 seconds in & look at the difference in glass sizes. Can someone please explain??

. . ..must be black magic

  • I was expecting Caipirinha dance

  • you forgot to cut the white part of the lemon (the middle one).

  • looks good!

  • i never shaked my capi begore - i will give it a try

  • I don't know if this has been asked before but why white sugar instead of the classic brown caipi sugar ?

  • What a creepy shake...

  • Nice presentation! I bought three bottles of Cachaca tonight to have a variety and one was Sagatiba so I'm a happy camper!

  • mmmmmmm

  • the lime pieces should be cut smaller, but that's just me..

  • SED!!

  • Vi logo que tu é Brasileiro rsrs, sabe pronunciar caipirinha

    abraço

  • funny smile.. makes me grin everytime I watch it! :o)

r u using a teaspoon? and why not brown sugar instead of white sugar?

and how much oz of cachaca? u didn't mentioned it in the video!

    thx!

  • search for "aprenda a fazer uma boa caipirinha", thats the right way!!

  • Epic Fail again... Never use white sugar!

  • samuel 210386 well brown sugar tha brazilians don' t adeed because the cacacha is made by brown sugar cane, remember we are not talkinig about mojito. And even if u are making a mojito u can make a mix of 50 50 of sugar white /brown.The people don't know that brown sugar takes a more longer time to dilute so to combine the perfection with the timing u can do this but in no way u need to add brown sugar in Caipirinha it's groose ,change even the color and the person will have a different taste ...

  • FINALLY an original recipe of Caipirinha muito obrigado :)Mas 51 Cachaça é melhor... :)Eu amo a Caipirinha bonita :D

  • finally a video with the original recipe !

i make my caipirinhas just the same way, but i use a bit more lime because i can't get a good cachaca here in germany.

my dad went to brazil a lot of times and he told me not to use crushed ice or brown sugar.

i make a lot of cocktails for my friends and all of them love my caipirinhas and prefer them to any caipirinha they can get in a bar in germany :)

  • not a good reciepe. You have to use brown sugar, crushed ice and a whole lime

  • And you need a straw!!!

  • John Gukuru rocks the house.

    great presentation

    see ya!!

    SEE YA!!!

  • Hi Samuel,

Thanks a lot for your comments and I agree with you. If you were using any other cachaça than Sagatiba, then you would need a whole lime and more sugar, but with Sagatiba, we have gone through a very high tech production processs o that you can really enjoy the taste and flavour of the spirit. So, rather than cover up those flavours we invite you to really enjoy them by adding less ingredients. I hope that makes sense!?!

All the very best for the New Year!

  • Its better with "51" or ''Ipioca" . You can find 51 any state in Usa.

  • Hello friend,

Just using money to compare the two names, 51 here in brasil custs in a market not more than R$ 5, IPIOCA its around R$20, offcourse that here in brazil betwwen these two, every body would say that IPIOCA is most recommended. But there is also other amaizing names and the best ones is the ones which nobody know, which means, almost a craft production, with less chimical and more brazilian spirit. Taste the know, hope u enjoy

  • no brasil caipirinha custa $30 cents is dolar , nos eua custa $?

  • Im in Australia and i was at a restaurant, 1 caipirinha cost $14.00 (R$21).

  • That sucks. I just bought a bottle of cachaca for under twenty bucks. I'll probably get about twenty drinks out of it.

  • I'm a big cocktail fan - I make a lot at home. But I only had my first Caipirinha a couple of days ago!

Loved it - now I just need to find a Cachaca stockist in the UK...

  • Hi!

You can find Sagatiba in Waitrose, Tesco and Oddbins and in all the tops bars in the country.

If there is any other info you need, get in touch.....

    Cheers, John

  • Very nice. We've been selling a lot of these at my bar. Very quick and easy to make and really refreshing on those really hot days. And if you don't have Cachaca, you can have a Caprioska which is vodka instead. Enjoy!!

  • aussiedave87

Thanks for your support mate! If you're in Oz, then you can get Sagatiba from Thinkspirits!

    Cheers!

  • Im in Oz (Como, WA) and the liquor shop near me is selling Caipirinha cans for them for $2 a can. They are 17% ABV and 200 ml and the can says 2.84 standard drinks a can. I just mix a can with some sugar (its a bit bitter out the can) and a few lime wedges for garnish(stolen from next doors lime tree) and ice in a glass. in terms of dollar to alcohol ratio, its cheaper than beer!

  • This has become one of my favorite drinks, especially perfect for the hot summer days here in Vegas. Now I just need to find some of this Sagatiba somewhere.

  • Hi walterlv01,

Sagatiba is on the way to NV and will be distributed by Southern Wines and Spirits, so keep an eye out for it! Glad you like the video!

  • Thanks for the video! I discovered the wonderful caipirinha last week, and bought myself some Sagatiba cachaça today. Now I will be able to make my favourite new drink to perfection!

  • Thank you! We try hard!

  • Good production quality/camera work; I also think this is the first video on youtube to have subtitles. Impressive work!
