I have 2 accounts with offences. I don't remember what rules I had broken then, but I do remember I'm on the yellow zone with both. I don't play on them anymore and my current account has no offences. Will those 2 accounts lower my chances of becoming a player moderator? Because I'm doing very well on my current account and I don't want to ruin that.

Well those offences will not act in your favour. Seeing as Player mods need to abide by rules, that won't help :)

you can't lose black marks.

yes you can, every few months, or half year, Jagex has a "second-chance" thing where certain offenses have extra black marks get taken off. Two of my accounts have been permanently muted and due to these updates they are now both unmuted.

Dont think doing this will make you a Pmod instantly, its better to be naturally careful and helpful when it involves your account.

Several players may look up to you if you are a Pmod, but its lore of a guidence role.

Even i reported somthing really large, and i mean LARGE.

Ive been playing for 4 years lol still not a mod ive been poliet all my time playing but ive been reported by some mean mod for saying how are you -.- i just walked away cuss i knew i was already going to get muted so next time i logged on i saw muted =/ . I think some mods abuse there power and jagex should take a close look on recent reports so people don't get banned for rediculous meanings. I really wish i could be a mod to make runescape a better community for times being.

Jagex does look into the time that the offence was commited and what it was for, there is no 100% chance of becoming a pmod.

Best thing to do is just be yourself and play the game in an honest way.

I always use l33tspeak in the game when I talk. Does this reduce my chance for becoming a Player Moderator? If so, I'm happy to type full words and periods to seem 'more mature' when Jagex checks (if they would check).

I always use my best language skills on the Forums though. Just a question about in-game.

next, make a video showing what NOT to do when you ARE a mod...no random mutes, no telling about mod powers (beside mute), no talking in detail about the mod forums, ect.

This is very helpful for noobs who don't know how to read on the main site :P becoming a mod is easy infomation to get...also it more likely that you become a mod if you keep your account safe then just reporting 1000 times.

If you have blackmark's you can still become a player mod.

they still watch how you treat others and help. You don't need to be rich t be a Mod you don't need to be a high combat level.

I am level 3 and i am a player Moderator, Don't ask my name so you can add me and ask how i became one at that a level cause the answer is NO!

Just treat others well, help them on little parts of Quests if they need it, Jagex looks out for that.

Jagex has put enough information on the website about why they have the rules but not enough of how to deal with players breaking them. Now because of this you can come to a situation of doing a incorrect report or not even knowing what you have to do.

Ofcours they keep on telling they want good quality reports but there are only a few situations explained. I myself do understand how to deal with most of the situations but some players may not, so they should add more information.

In other words be sure there's an offense being committed. Don't report someone for saying ****. That's not against rs rules because the filter caught it. (still don't do it though because if you do things like that you won't be picked as a player mod). Anyway, yeah, just make sure there's a good reason for reporting them. Report them if they curse at someone or they curse a lot. If someone is walking by and randomly curses Jagex won't take the report as seriously.
