I'm sorry to say Ken died in an aircraft taxing accident several years ago at his ranch at El Mirage Dry Lake. His aircraft flipped over in the sand. Ken is missed by the whole aviation community.
Videos like this are frustrating. Just about the time he starts to give some good information there's a bunch of quick cuts that are pretty much unrelated to the discussion. How about less glitz and more meat in the next try?

depending on the state and weight of the craft you may not need a pilot license,
in Pa if its under a certian weight class it is considered an ultralite and a pilot license is not needed but utah is a bit stricter
