@kittybrucknell You don't just have a similar voice to Rimes'; you have a similar level of talent. You need to get into a professional recording studio if you haven't already. Incredible rendition BTW.

The echo is quite excessive and does indeed perturb the overall sound.
There are a couple of minute errors in terms of pitch: you are not consistent from beginning to end. You do, however, pronounce consonants correctly and put enough energy into your singing so that we may FEEL it just as much as you do.

@yeshua4givs You are wrong. This version in this video has countless differences compared to LeAnn Rimes' version. Play them both simultaneously and see for yourself. Rimes' and Brucknell's versions stay roughly in sync for about the first verse, and they drastically diverge from there.
@kittybrucknell You don't just have a similar voice to Rimes'; you have a similar level of talent. You need to get into a professional recording studio if you haven't already. Incredible rendition BTW.

It was awesome. Just a suggestion though, don't move your head too much it will damage your vocal cords. Also with your hand movements, just a little much. Also with the light, try putting it in front of you so that ist doesn't shadow your face, then we can't the right side of your face other than that your voice is amazing but keep preserving it so that it'll last

To the haters, if you listen to any of my stuff other than the live cuts. I lay every instrument and vocal part except the drums I use a drum machine for that. My band Cherokee Rose does exist but I reserve my recordings for my sound.

Kitty great job. I will point out a few things, just for the posters that think you are not singing. I do a lot of recording, I use a 24 track TASCAM 2488 when I import it over to my computer I use cool pro edit and Adobe Audition to put in reverb, chours, and even pitch bending,
I personally think Kitty used a little to much reverb for my taste. I feel that it was her singing. I have watch several of her videos and the same feelings she puts into her music is there. I enjoyed it Kitty 5

In answer to those who don't think this is me singing - I don't have the energy to reply to all of you - so here's my answer. To those who think I used the Leann Rimes version - there is a HUGE difference - just listen to both versions - you can easily tell it's not her. If it isn't her...then who is it? Come on.
The reason there is a huge echo on the video is because I added it in when I edited the video on my computer. It's easy to do.
I don't think I need to justify myself any more.

The echo is quite excessive and does indeed perturb the overall sound.
There are a couple of minute errors in terms of pitch: you are not consistent from beginning to end. You do, however, pronounce consonants correctly and put enough energy into your singing so that we may FEEL it just as much as you do.
I wish you success.
Once you "make it", please sing this one again - WITHOUT any echo: let someone who knows about sound engineering take care of that!

people that say youre not singing have no idea what a difference usings a mixer with some effects does to your sound... how did you go, has it been yet? I think the judges wont be amazed by this song no matter how good you sing it, its gonna bore them.. try something like Someone in the Dark by Michael Jackson if you want to stand out...
