  • inspiresamples website

  • inspiresamples dot_com

I use theres some great presets too

  • im just now getting into complextro and i need shit to slice

  • @CrisCasper @indvs3 the only reason i am here is cauz i have a launchpad/midi controller........... not all of theese people are doushbags but i get your point

  • wtf y is this on my starting page? create your own samples

  • These samples suck ASS!

  • like i fart :)

  • nvm

  • where is the link

  • wat i dont get is how can i get the distorted WAOOOM like ajapais song brain

  • these samples suck

  • Omfg loops are gay. I just want samples. Is it that hard to find good dub kicks or snares.

  • @ChrisCasperrr just find snares and kicks and fuck around with eqs filters and compressors.

Nice dubstep kicks hit around 70-90 hertz with a good amount of top-end...

Snares also have a nice hit at about 80-110 hertz with a good low mid and top end but compress them a lot.

Combine, mix and mash them to make yourself a nice library

  • @ChrisCasperrr seriously i know what you mean....

  • @ChrisCasperrr exactly what i feel

  • @ChrisCasperrr Yeah. get the VEC2 pack. It's amazing :D

  • @ChrisCasperrr try chopping em up mate it does take piss tho

  • @FreshhTalent Thats what I've been doing :(

  • @ChrisCasperrr If you were a real Producer, u make them yourself.

  • @ChrisCasperrr Vengeance Minimal House Pack

  • @ChrisCasperrr just google "dubstep samples" theirs some good sites. (obviously not youtube)

  • @ChrisCasperrr

I had the same problem, but found this free dubstep kit with nice samples. Youtube don't allow links in the comments, but try searching for "flmusicstudio+dubstep samples" in google and choose the first hit in the top.

    Best of luck ;-)

  • @ChrisCasperrr Then cut the loops up :/

  • @ChrisCasperrr Take the loops apart. Like sampling actually is.

  • @ChrisCasperrr just go to freesound[dot]org

  • @ChrisCasperrr bro. open the loop, slice out the sounds.

  • @ChrisCasperrr Vengenace soundpacks

  • @ChrisCasperrr google "dubstep drum samples TPB" and you can find a free pack (actually made to be free) that's great. Also grab a drum & bass one 'cause those snares are what you want. ;)

  • i find this quite sad.

    to all future producers:

if you have at least some self respect, invest in the soft- and/or hardware and generate your own damn sound!

  • @indvs3 cause everyone has money.

  • @blaque7 i think hes just tryin to say develop your own beats... i cracked all my shit

  • @blaque7 well assuming you have a computer and an active internet connection... decent software doesn't have to be more expensive than that.

  • @indvs3 NI Massive - $371.91

    FL Studio - $50~$300

  • @blaque7 Or just torrent and get them for free Xd

  • @blaque7 software: free

    lrn2torrent.

  • @technicalerr0r lrn2read he clearly said INVEST. last i checked invest meant to give something to get it, usually money.

  • @blaque7 lrn2understand he was clearly implying downloading, your just a slow american who takes everything literaly. and you can invest time, effort, energy, love, lots of things can be invested.

  • @blaque7 ALSO let me add, TAL plugins = free, Tweakbench plugins = free, audacity = free, puredata = free, buy any piece of live supported hardware and get a copy of ableton live lite free.

plenty is free. also if you use FL studio, you wont understand Massive, thats like comparing a bottle of fine wine to a £1 can of beer.

  • @technicalerr0r I have both FL and Massive, understand both(torrented). Plugins are free but to use in what free music producing software? Audacity is shit for creating whole songs.

  • @blaque7 Reaper64 free to try, Acid Xpress and Anvil fully free. lrn2google.

  • @technicalerr0r Lol, Reaper64 free to try. Just to try. Anvil sucks. I have anvil, never ever using that again. Acid Planet has other software significantly better than the free version. What are you even trying to argue? That become a producer is as blatantly free/cheap and relatively easy?

  • @blaque7 what point are you making? you ask me a question I gave you the answer. you misunderstood a sarcastic point about downloading mysic, then were given a list of free plugins and DAW's that you claimed didnt exist.

of course fully featured software isnt free, but damn decent alternatives exist also anvil rocks, I use ti together with ableton, you just suck.

and back to the ORIGINAL post, SOUND DESIGN was the topic in question, you dont even need a DAW for sound design.

  • @technicalerr0r Neither of those things happened (me asking you a question and the sarcastic point about downloading music) prior to the last post. I never claimed any of them never existed. Generally good quality comes with great monetary value. Obviously there is free software, usually free stuff isn't as good though. No, I don't suck. You don't even know me. And the original topic was something Indvs3 said. You just decided you'd pop your head in and tell me shit i already knew.

  • @blaque7 read over everything again, also enough of your work is posted on youre channel for me to make a fairly goodd estimate of your abilities.

record your own samples, build your own plugins, you dont have a clue what your talking about and have obviously never heard of pete rock, squarepusher or burial.

  • @technicalerr0r This channel??? that shit is from a long ass time ago back when i was using mixcraft (also fairly shitty) I've quite literally read and re-read those statements already. Either way my point is that it's just as costly to produce as it is difficult.

  • @blaque7 and your point is wrong. it costs nothing but talent to be a producer. anyhow /thread

  • @indvs3 you can ALSO create your own sound from re-sampling though...

  • @TimmyMProductions true! but i think you still need either software or hardware to do so ;-)

  • @indvs3 you can't do anything with the samples without software or hardware anyways xD

  • @TimmyMProductions my point exactly

  • @indvs3 there is no point in creating a sound from scratch if the result sounds exactly the same as pre-made one. of course, using a sample or a loop without ANY editing is just stupid and lame. (and remixing / covering is a different thing.) you gotta understand that if you take a loop and chop it up n arrange it in a completely different way the result is quite different from the original sample. just listen to some awesome hip hop with edited samples from jazz or something for example.

  • @indvs3 if you´re point was about idiots creating songs with only pre-made loops and no editing then I fully support your view. I hate that shit.

  • @theuhhimabunny that was my point indeed =) i enjoy making hiphop myself, exactly because of the world of possibilities, created by sampling, slicing, cutting and editing existing sounds until there's nothing left of the original. as long as it sounds acceptable within the current zeitgeist.

  • @indvs3 I make almost 99% of my own synths and sounds, but its so helpful to use samples as filler while ur laying everything out. I mean I guess ur not composing 24-7 but it does get annoying to hear a loop by itself when ur trying to get modulations right..

  • @indvs3 Although, copying off of someone elses sounds sparks creativity into ones work eventually making there own style.

  • @indvs3 Get where u coming from. But i dont agree.

I know some producers that use loops quite alot. You can chop up your loops and do lots of other crazy stuff with it.

And didnt electronic music started of with just looping in the first place???

  • @DE4DR4T no, electronic music started because of the invention called the synthesizer. in the seventies and eighties, people actually played those things like actual music instruments, but no one seems to remember that.

i know masses of people that use loops as well and this oversaturation of loopers is the cause of the severe fall in quality of music nowadays. when an original idea does make it to the charts, every two-bit moron starts milking the electro-cow. why would you even defend that?

  • @indvs3 im just saying you can still be creative with loops, it doesnt necessarily mean you arent creative. Like Amon Tobin, he uses allot of loops too. And in my opinion he's one of the more creative producers around.

  • @DE4DR4T Don't bother to explain him about sampling and looping when he's such a simpleton he is :)

IDM is still the most creative and utmost weirdest genres I know.

  • @DE4DR4T i think the difference there is that amon tobin has been on the scene since the early '90s and can afford experienced musicians to play loops for him which he can record in expensive studios.

  • @indvs3 Sorry man, not all of us are the type who have a ton of money for that shizz. But hey, we make the best stuff. Just look at Pharos, or Zeds Dead. ;D

  • @bitwolf420 who ever said something about needing tons of money? there are masses of free sequencers, samplers, plugins, etc... i started making music electronically when i was 12yrs old. do you think i had a big budget? maybe you should consider laying off the 420, that'll raise your budget consistently ;-)

  • @indvs3 Dude I don't spend anything on it lol, I never have to. but that's beside the point. Yes there are good freeware options but truth be told, yes they do kinda suck. If you can tell me a freeware synth that can do what Massive, A.C.E., Sylenth1 or Harmour can do and I'll stand corrected. o.o

But I'm not here to fight. Didn't mean to offend or anything. :)

  • @bitwolf420 neither am i, so i apologise if you were offended in any way. i admit that great quality has its price, but then there are ways around that as well. i'd be hypocrite saying that i've never used cracked software, but then again, i don't aim to earn money off of it.

  • @indvs3 Neither do I, I just like making music. =]

  • @bitwolf420 just like everyone else here i suspect. i'm just frustrated with the fact that the vast availability of numb loops and standardised synth samples is killing the variety and overall quality of electronic music. in my humble opinion obviously =)

  • idiotz hahaha

  • @gomachols hahaha tushe B)

  • im the 32332 viewer :D

  • @Explicit076 you're also an idio XD

  • @BassHunta yeah but when you do that you have to make an account and buy shit to download it
