This is hilarious. The fact we think this is long hair exemplifies the fact that black women's hair just DOES NOT grow as long as whites or, really, any other group. To any other people this would be SHORT to MEDIUM length hair. But WE think this is long as hell.
My hair is long also & curly in its natural state. I've never had a perm either! Most black women need to stop putting chemicals & weave in their hair and be grateful for what God gave them :)
What's hilarious is i still youtube ads of women claiming they have/use/sell the same brand of extensions that Oprah wears!!!! I was thinking to myself, Oprah wears a weave? lol she's been in mags before with no make up and her hair a mess. I think she rocks a press BUT i'd love to see her natural curls defined on the show just once. I know the sleek look is "professional" but come on Oprah is big enough to do her own thing.
If it makes you feel better to think that her hair is a weave then, do so. However the fact still remains that she is a billionaire who has someone to care and protect her hair from getting damaged (the way you and I don't). Get over it!
sweetie isn't that shit you claim to be spelled TRICHOLOGIST?. so instead of telling the person above to step her game up how about u follow your own advice. cut the bull shit OMG HAHAHAHAHAHA

that's because you're a idiot who has short nappy hair and does not take care of it.. Oprah gives a shit she vacationing in Italy a place you and your nappy hair can only dream of going
actually Oprah's hair is in its natural state, which is why she mentions getting a 'Press and curl." So she too has what you would call nappy hair. What people need to accept is that nappy hair is usually also healthy happy beautiful hair, that can grow as long as you can imagine. You don't have to display your ignorance to everyone because someone disagreed with your comment.
Well its good to know that she does wear her natural hair. Too many people assume that all black women wear weaves when thats not always the case. I did notice that black women on the EAST Coast tend to wear their natural hair more and it makes them look more sophisticated than some of these girls here in the SOUTH with blue , red and purple weaves that look like damn baseball caps upside their head and kinda coonish and ghetto (if you ask me). Wear your natural hair more women...embrace it ;)
Why are some people so rude? I have long REAL hair like Oprah (and I don't relax it either) and this girl put her hands in my scalp just to ensure it was'nt weave! Some people man. Some people.
Although her hair is big and puffy, it's mostly straight in the before pic (it looks blow-dried) and if so, her length wouldn't change much. I have a lot of hair too and when it's blow-dried it just gets big and puffy but as soon as I apply the Chi's it flattens out without much change in the length.
Her hair is beautiful poofy. It looks brushed out. I would think if she pressed all that hair it would be damn near waist length. Unless she trimmed a few inches. Thanks for posting this video by the way.

@CarvinCole How in the world would this be in any way shape or form considered short hair?
It is long. Her hair is not bone straight, obviously.

I love her natural hair. I like the before shot better than the pressed and curled. It actually looks shorter.

@TruthFan yea, the natural hair has more body. I like it better. The presses look looks too flat
