I know. The Young Turks and Bill Maher are usually my go to sources for opinions from the left and as late both are sailing away from the Obama fleet. We all had what we knew were gonna be high hopes for Obama, but he's now undercutting even some of our lowest expectations.
The only good to come out of this is a possibly real third party candidate to finally emerge. The real left needs to move on.

If enough young people hate the republicans and then also being to hate the democrats, and we get a progressive party with a damn good pr campaign I think it's a real possibility. I know if seems unlikely, but if you would have asked me in early '08 if we'd have a black man named Barrack as president I would have told you never in a million years.
