Lastly, many on the Right DID complain about Bush's deficit but the outrage is especially keen now that Obama's new $3.5 TRILLION budget projects an additional $1.7 T shortfall in ONE YEAR!!! Second, to respond to Roesgen, the issue is not a selfishly motivated grab for federal dollars. It is irrelevant that $50B goes to IL because the point is that that $50B was taken by the IRS from taxpayers before being doled back out to IL. Regardless of whether IL came out ahead or behind in the deal, the point is that the GOVT decides where the money should go rather than the people who earned it in the first place. It's a question of who gets to decide how to spend money that YOU earned.

She essentially engaged in a DEBATE--not a "report"--with the interview subject, but one where she was both moderator and participant, and obviously unfair situation. Then one of her staff harrasses the subject with "Sir, Sir, Sir..." so that he can't respond. Anyone who doesn't see this as an unfair interview is biased to a mind-boggling extent. CNN then abandons its journalistic responsibility and integrity by taking no action
