Great ad! As a lifelong resident of South Boston who graduated from college in Boston and stayed, I am proud to have grown up here and seen the improvements made to my life in the Mayor's sixteen years. I think people have short memories of what SB, Dot ave., other areas were like before the mayor took office.

i hope right now someone is at work with menino's empty desk at the Filene's site, crumbling Boston Common infrastructure, sleeping homeless, a T station closed at 2am as drunks fumble for their car keys, a Uhaul truck carrying recent college grads off to NYC....

The subway closes at 12:30, Its the bars that are open until 2:00, the Filene's site should be left as a hole in the ground for a few years until the economy is better and it is needed again, and those homeless people were probably tired.
