I don't understand why this movie received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I bet only american bigoted critics rated this movie. Some people can be really stupid. This movie is nothing compared to Sergio Leone's westerns.

i had to watch this for philosophy class, i thought it would suck but it was a great movie that puts an empahasis on john lockes and thomas hobbes theory of the human behavior in the state of nature.

Sublime film! If you haven't got it....get it! A story of humanity. Walter Huston was just awesome. He died only 2 years later. I'm not a huge Bogey fan, but he was brilliant in this. The bit at the end with him and Alfonso Bedoya, rivals the bit in Deliverance, where Jon Voight and Ned Beatty fall foul of the hillbillies. Tense as a big box of tense things!
