Is great! Unfortunately, you can't monetize on someone else's cover and is subject to YouTube's copyright rules... Most likely, you will not be penalized, but the audio may get muted, if a record label request it. At least, check on some artist that will let you cover their songs.

@caa1000 well, the best way to see if you're allowed to cover a song is to youtube it. and ignorance has a TON of covers, none of them have been removed or muted so that should mean it's ok. Contacting people seems to time consuming. lol :p

Guys, over time there are BIG Official cover channels that are given permission to use other artists music, and their channels get partnered there's this Guy named Cobus and he does Drum Covers of other songs while playing the Song and YouTube 100% Supports hims and he gets sponsored and everything!
