  • Someone tell me how this is a new furthur song? I have never heard this song.

  • I love Phil singing this! He loves to tell a story

  • I agree with TheDeadhead71 about John being a good fit. I saw that Manchester, NH show last year and it rocked. Luckily I live in Manchester, Portland and Amhurst were good too.

  • Sweet Little Bear solo at 1:29.

  • Phil Lesh, just who in the hell do you think you are sir?!?! Going out and playing Earth-shattering rock and roll night in and night out at nearly 72 years old. Didn't you hear your friend Grace Slick talking about how rock stars shouldn't be out there at 60years old?

Apparently Gracie needs to get out and see your act, and see what it is like for a 70 year old Rock God to demonstrate his Rock Godshead!! :)

And she should check out her old friend Jorma, like I will be doing tonight in SFO

  • @johngalt23g its amazing isnt it.they are a non stop inspiration for me. even tho i like to keep the mindset that if i had to leave the earth tomarrow i would be content. id still like to know their secret. could be the music keeping them alive, how many other bands do you know that never played for the purpose of fame in there whole career

  • Fantastic! My favorite "new" Furthur song!

  • *Phil Lesh beast mode activate*

I built a castle in the sky

I built a lean-to in the village down below

A fountain where the land was dead and dry

I built a palace overlooking seven seas

    I built a church upon a stone

Gonna let my pastures go to seed

And let the mountain be my home
