This was somewhat amusing, but it could be better. Almost everyone in the English-speaking world knows about Joan Crawford and her child-rearing techniques. Rather than use the clips from the film to set up the parody, it would be better to immediately start the ABBA song with the images from Mommie Dearest running. You might also want to try to the actual action being depicted.
Check out Mamma Mia and Serial Mom, the movie! It is just as good and it was broadcast at Laffite's in Exile during Southern Decadence! It is AWESOME!!!

This was somewhat amusing, but it could be better. Almost everyone in the English-speaking world knows about Joan Crawford and her child-rearing techniques. Rather than use the clips from the film to set up the parody, it would be better to immediately start the ABBA song with the images from Mommie Dearest running. You might also want to try to the actual action being depicted.

@daward2 This is really a great nineties gem. I remember it in the nineties how on disco nights they used to play it all the time. The younger generation find it only because of the song from that "movie". Not us. Gosh, remember how campy and funny all this was then. Then us gays loved the camp, the humor in ti. Now the new generation find it "appalling" laughing at child abuse. They have no camp value and worst of all no sense of humor in anything.
