@cslemp Thank you, friend! Yes, I have enjoyed hearing roots influences seep into modern music, and have been particularly interested in the current "British soul invasion." I'm thankful that my current project with Emily gives me a place to try writing in some older styles. We have more original songs in the works!

@Pdan356 Thank you! At shorpy.com, you can also read background info about many photos.  My favorite in this video, is about the man smoking the pipe at 3:38, "Oregon, August 1939. 'Unemployed lumber worker goes with his wife to the bean harvest. Note Social Security number tattooed on his arm...' A public records search shows that 535-07-5248 belonged to one Thomas Cave, born July 1912, died in 1980 in Portland." Such a striking contrast from the way we must guard this info today!
