  • What? NO FRENCH HORN?!?!??!?!?

  • @kaitlmm What are you talking about? :D

This song is meant for tubas.

Not french horn :D Lol :D

  • What brand is that tuba?i wanna say it's a gold st.petersburg...but i've only seen silver ones.

  • @cmsbassist It's the Stowasser 848340MX Student Bb Tuba.

  • @cmsbassist no such thing as a gold instrument... only laquer.. unless you mean gold plated which is extremely uncommon and expensive.

  • i have one word staccato

  • even though its for brass i try to play it on clarinet

  • they are so god

  • Amazing sound guys

  • The video is nice but you need when you play away from the camera within the sound is too powerful

  • Starting from the left.... :

Tenor trombone, B Tuba (Not a baritone!) , Tenor trombone..

(Just to make it easy for you to understand) ;)

  • @Impss12 Those are F-attachments. They're separated from tenors, I believe.

  • @Impss12 i dont think the trombone on teh far right is a tenor trombone. so yeah :)

  • Omg PERFECT sound but the rhythms are ALL wrong :/

  • @TheTrollin60s Well sorry about that, we played it by ear :S

  • That's a freakin' little tuba...

  • @CyberShinyNinja Indeed ;D

  • @CyberShinyNinja thats because it is a baritone

  • @andreawarner11 A baritone that just happens to play an octave lower than the trombones, and has a tuba mouthpiece? Look at the wrap and bell throat. NOT a baritone.

  • Tervitused ka siit poolt :D - Chris ;) , kenasti mängitud :D

  • @chris311281 Oi aitäh, Chris! :)

  • Great!

  • played by ear??? nice

  • Great

  • tenor trombone btw

  • Sounds waaay better proven by iSwimmer and El Dorado High Scool Horn Section.

  • Beautifully done! This coming from a low brass sectionist.

  • @LaciatemiCantare Thank you! :)

  • Left guy has a bass trombone to the people wanting to know

  • @LaciatemiCantare Well, you got that wrong, Its deffinately not a bass trombone. Sorry, I forget to ask him the trombone type, but I know its B and it should be yamaha.

  • In all honesty... you guys either need a trumpet or a french horn to play that with you! Great job though!

  • love to see white trash play the tuba thangy

  • @nook5043 Well It's pretty usual on Europe.. :D

  • what brand of trombone is the boy on the left playing?

  • @KnottPatriot Im not sure, but I can anserw that when I meet him (tomorrow). ;)

  • @KnottPatriot It's Kuhnl & Hoyer, I dont know the brand.

  • By the way, im a Tuba player. Very good one.

  • @NinjqDogz1 Okey, cool.

    Me too, lol. :D

  • Come on. You need at least 3 tubas to play Sonic boom. This song is meant for tubas.

  • wrong

  • never seen a 3 valved rotary before

  • i actually really like the trombone on the solo. don't change that. but the tuba does need to play out a bit.

  • sounds good

  • Well played guys!

  • tuba needss too be playinnggg the solooo.

  • this isnt very good. it sounds better with all tubas. and if there is only one tuba it should have the solo. and i cant hear the tuba player. only a few times but almost never.

  • @deathslave159 Okey, thanks for your comment.

  • @Impss12 i think it sounds great with this arrangement, one thought is the lead needs a faster tongue for this to work better.

  • @deathslave159 what instrument do you play? i can hear tuba through almost all of it... most the time its hard to hear the difference when you put tuba and another instrument (trombone in this case) especially if its low brass as well.. but i can hear the harmony between the tuba and the trombone on the right.. so they are not playing in the same octave so you can hear the tuba if you listen for it and know what it sounds like... but i have to agree it is meant for tubas only

  • @pie2pie1pie i play tuba myself. and i cant hear the tuba itself. to me it is over played by the trombones. im glad you can hear it. but i prefer this piece when played by all tubas

  • @deathslave159 i play tuba also and heard it just fine so chack your ears buddy

  • You're very good, listen the harmony is incrible!!!

  • wow epic

  • i play trombone 2

  • Sorry but it was wrong, im gonna be doing that with my brass trio in school and that is not wut it sounds like, sorry, the tuba did good though, and how many years have you guys been playin?

  • @StJiMmY112 Well, me (the tuba) and the trombone on the right (solo player) have been played for 8 years. Guy on the very left have 5 years. But yeah, we made this video a year ago so I'll let you do the calculations ;)

  • this is pretty good, I should get my brass group to record us playing this

  • @ThomasYams Thanks, I will be waiting to see your video! :)

  • @Impss12

hey if he has a tuba player tht u will be able to hear the whole time and can play the solo it might... actually it will sound better because it was made for the tuba....................

i hate stupid people tht take an instruments song and play it with another instrument

  • Very good!!!! Congratulations for all you

  • @jmerez Thank you for those kind words! :)

  • its better with 2 tubas

  • my group of friends is a tenor sax trombone and baritone plus me on tuba and its really nice cause no alto esk instruments

  • I play Tuba for my high school (USSBA National champions) and have been looking for a good example on how to play this song and you guys are incredible keep it up

  • Great Job! But fix your tone...you are "wooo-ing" and thats bad, but still great job :)

  • @panterwill Thank you, I will work on it ;)

  • FAKE!! All Bass Bone players know you have to take any part down an octave.

  • @coolguyhino92 they were on lame tenors

  • @udienowisay Hey! Tenors are awesome! At least we tenors (with f attachments) are in marching bands, concert bands, jazz bands, and orchestras. Bass bones are only in jazz and orchestra! So ha!

  • Doesn't matter if your not JSU. It sounds good. I'd rank it close to the best I've heard.

  • U all did good but u are not jsu so dnt call yourself sonic boom

  • @fretina7 Yeah..,

    Thanks anyway :)

  • @fretina7 it's the name of the fanfare. wasn't no one trying to be like the boom....besides...they know better LOL

  • @16mmDj true very true

  • @balletstar1225 playing high isn't hard... playing fast is hard

  • @krazyfrogable Playing fast isn't hard... playing well is hard.

  • thats pretty good

  • Also known as Snake Pit. :P

  • @sethzilliano True that. ;)

  • voll geil!

  • @Stoppel120 Danke!

  • The trombones should've played down the octave. Or at least just 1.

  • in the second (I dont really know what that is in english exactely...) bar ?; beat? you all are an eigth note early and that makes everything sound weird, but apart from that... you were great

  • half these fools dont know half the things they were talking about. well played guys :D

  • @sk8boy11 Haha :D, Thank you! :)

  • toungue

  • this is pretty good

  • man youve got to feel a fanfare with multi parts

  • trombone player on the right. tongue your freaking notes! thank you!

  • @sousapcody I'll tell It to him ;)

  • slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Work on your breathing and put a little more feeling into your music! Great piece!

  • @antonioshaw Thank you for these advices.

    I appreciate your comment.

  • its good but i suggest when breathing dont breath through your shoulders breath directley to your diaphram your shoulders whould barley move

  • @guitaristave110 Thank you :) , We're you talking about that trombone player, who is at the left side, or u we're talking about me (tuba player) ? :)

  • @Impss12 no everyone

  • Sounds fantastic!

  • @HandwhistlerBen Many thanks, my friend! :-)

  • Sounds great but it doesn't look like your really feeling it. Ya got to get into the music, especially a piece like this. Wail a little;)

  • @MasterOvCreation Yeah, we've gone better playing this piece, and i think now we have the feeling you are looking for :)

  • u guys sound good..but should hav put more space in between each of the notes and hold the rest for longer! but still good not matter what!

  • @Tubaluvr03 Thank you!

  • @Impss12 ur welcome!

  • Good lord. How long have you trombonists been playing? I've been playing for 6 years and I for one know that's pretty good. :D

  • @hasani125 Left trombone player have played 4 years, going on five, and the right trombone player ended a music school with trombone this year.

  • @Impss12 I gotcha. :D

  • @hasani125 Heh :)

  • @Impss12 I can see you and the other 2 guys going far if you stick at it. That just my opinion. ^.^

  • @alexb12kt That may be possible :) , Thx again.
