I thought this short was great, but I don't see it being a great example of people being racist. Yes it happens, but when you got a bunch of kids taking over other people's property w/o permission (BB goal), fighting and cussing and all while there are numerous break ins in the area. Whether they were black, white, asian,.. can you really blame someone of being suspicious of these kids that are acting like punks?

Love the concept for this short film. It's funny because that's what I thought instantly when the white guy told the mom "we're the only one's who carry it in this town". I like how the directors had placed the robbery before the security installation, because it gives the audience the idea of the illusion of security. I just had to see what happened to the children from the beginning. They're adorable too. Brilliant work!

Wow there's some truths to this at many levels. I come from a Chinese family and the vietnamese kids were always causing trouble. And Chinese always try to make a deal with store owners for lower prices. I think it's more related to social-economic problems than it is ethnic groups. You don't just come to America and get wealthy. There are some Chinese people who do, but that's because they already had money back home. As the minorities' conditions improve, these stereotypes will fade.

Funny how a good story can pull you in. When it first started, I thought it was moving too slow and was about to jump off. Then it started to develop and sucked me in right to the end. I would guess that this is a low cost production with amateur equipment but the end result was first class entertainment.
