@allstarlegend9@fuckerouni1908 I think on the newer games this might have changed. But its worth a try. Rent the game for a night or borrow it from a mate.
My xbox was just flashed when i inserted a back up of fifa 12 and while updating the "cant read update from disk" screen came up. every time i turn it on, its the same story. So by getting an original fifa 12 it will correct the problem?
Seems like original disc is the only way. You can put any of the orginal kinect games in. Except adventures. Been playing brotherhood today, your missing out! Yeah it works fine on any games now. Tempted to get assassins creed for the multi though..

As below I inserted an original copy of motion sports. It then updated it from that disc.

i have the same issue, but with a backup copy of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
I tried everything like you, except with an original copy of the game.
Well, this game only comes out on 19th November...
After all that, does your console still reads backed up discs?

Just solved this problem by inserting an original copy of kinect motion sports. Now it works fine... Cheers mircosoft...
